Came up trumps when my new phone…
Came up trumps when my new phone stopped pairing with my e bike. I really do not know what i would have done without ETA. So glad I took out cover. My bike is too large and heavy to get in a car.

Really good customer service.
Dealt with my stress thoughtfully and sensitively and the breakdown vehicle arrived in a short time.
Kept me informed throughout the process and also checked up with me to ensure that all went well.

Broken customer portal, bad customer service
Broken customer portal, couldn’t cancel renewal and then refused to refund. Went to cancel my renewal over Easter. Customer login broken, advised to call but closed for weekend. Ended up emailing a couple of days later and they initiated the renewal seconds before they replied to say too bad it’s already been renewed. Denied there being a problem with their website - it’s still broken so not sure how they can claim that. No longer trust them.

Dear David, We are very sorry to hear that you were told our customer login area was working - it is currently unavailable as we move to a new system and the page itself displays a message explaining it is offline and asking that customers email or call us. Would you please email customercare@eta.co.uk so that we can identify your account and retrieve the phone call recordings and emails to investigate exactly what happened and why you were told the login function was working as normal.
The first time I used ETA Breakdown…
The first time I used ETA Breakdown since switching from a well- known, very expensive provider -- and couldn't be happier! Joe came from Connoisseur recovery within the hour. He was friendly, reassuring and knowledgeable and had my little car fixed and running within 10 minutes. Excellent service- including Ruby on the end of the phone, who answered in two rings.

Cycle Rescue
Have been a member for a few years. Used them for the first time yesterday after a big derailleur failure. It was a Sunday at about 10:30am. Thy took only about 30 minutes from me first calling them. Excellent service that I would highly recommend. The driver was very courteous and caring with my bike.

My bike got stolen
My bike got stolen. But luckily I had it insured with ETA - they were amazing. Such brilliant, friendly service. Made it easy to supply evidence, and they paid out within about a week.

Struggling with the concept!
Just broke down on my mobility scooter (cold weather battery suck) first time I ever called them out in about 3 yrs.
They called a taxi out! Took about one and a half hours to sort.
Staff are nice, as was the taxi driver.
But I’m capable of calling a disability cab without an annual fee.
I guess it’s insurance against calling taxis out multiple times…if so your scooter needs fixing not just collecting, if not then they’re just a middle man for the occasional taxi call out.
Makes no sense in my instance but the lady on the phone was lovely😍
