Customer service is perfect!
I had a problem with a reservation that was due to agenda misunderstanding. Giorgia from the customer service stayed tuned with me in order to solve the problem.
She figured out very quickly what happened and took care of a new reservation for myself. She found new flats corresponding to my criteria (date, budget…) and managed payment facilities. We finaly solve the problem in a very effective manner. She took care of everything for me, I had nothing more to do than waiting a couple of days.
It was very pleasant regarding the fact that booking a flat far from home could be a challenge.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I wanted to visit the room first, and couldn’t get the landlord’s contact unless I prebooked the place. And I did that without expecting to get charged before a confirmation on both end. But no I was charged for everything and they refuse to pay me back as part of their policy.

Las informaciones sobre la casa estaban incompletas. Resulta que tuve que cancelar la reserva y perdi la tasa de reserva y mitad del alquiler. La casa está remota y no hay transporte público disponible.

Nous avons cherché très activement une chambre pour l'annee erasmus de notre fils à Lisbonne, ces derniers jours. Nous avons trouvé une chambre grâce à Erasmusu mais tout doit être fait via internet , il nous a manqué des garanties pour être tout à fait satisfaits. Notre premier virement était du montant d'un loyer + des frais de dossiers, finalement il a fallu doubler ce 1er virement pour valider la réservation, ce 2nd virement contenait lui aussi des frais de dossier conséquents. Je regrette que tous les montants n'aient pas été indiqués clairement. À ce jour nous ne connaissons aucun détails sur la chambre louée( sa surface, la taille de son lit, l'ameublement/ les rangements). Nous regrettons au final de n'avoir pas pu parler à quelqu'un tout simplement. Nous espérons que la chambre louée sera convenable et correcte pour notre fils !

The website does not work properly
The website does not work properly. I have managed to put in a reservation two days ago and got an e-mail confirming it but I cannot check the state of the reservation as when I click on my reservation it tells me it cannot be loaded. I send multiple e-mail regarding that issue but did not revive an answer from the Erasmusu team.

Ho prenotato una camera sul sito, che ha attirato la mia attenzione per il prezzo di 355€ che comprendeva le bollette oltre all’affitto, A Granada. Così prenoto la camera da letto.Dopo aver atteso una settimana per ricevere il contratto noto che nel contratto erano a parte le bollette così contatto il supporto e il proprietario.Non ho ricevuto nemmeno una riposta dal proprietario e ho aspettato una settima per ricevere una risposta . Ovviamente mi è stata data ragione e mi garantivano che avrei avuto il rimborso completo (dopo 15 giorni lavorativi) inoltre dopo 2 giorni ricevo una mail dove il rimborso comprendeva solo 100 euro di Erasmusu e non la caparra . Il sito comprendeva informazioni false ,ho atteso le riposte e il supporto per aver solamente ricevuto 100€ ,praticamente la stessa cifra che avrei ricevuto se avessi deciso io di annullare la prenotazione. Io pretendo il rimborso completo perché se non fosse stato per errori vostri non avrei perso soldi,tempo e altre offerte .

Nothing to do with Erasmus, run by a bad company
This is run by a company called Spotahome who are an awful, unconscionable company. The customer comes last for them; they will treat you very badly. Do not rent anything from this site. Please note that "Erasmusu" has NOTHING to do with the Erasmus Program: they are just trying to make you think they are affiliated to give you a misplaced sense of security.

ATTENTION Sur le site les éventuels coûts additionnels mensuels ne sont pas précisés pendant la réservation. Ils ne font que vous répéter un prix alléchant puis dans le contrat du propriétaire seront ajoutés des "restes à payer" ou des frais de "location à court terme" qui sont absolument ridicules car ils savent très bien qu'une année scolaire ne dure pas plus de 9 mois. Cette entreprise arnaque des étudiants, c'est honteux.

Hice una reservación el martes pasado desde la plataforma de SPOTAHOME, martes 25 de junio de 2024, la cancelé el mismo martes antes de que confirmaran la reservación, envié mensajes al correo de soporte y whatsapp de SPOTAHOME, contestaron algunos mensajes y finalmente se dieron cuenta que sí cancelé antes de que confirmaran la reservación, pedí el reembolso del total pagado y hasta este momento no he tenido mas respuestas, y mucho menos el reembolso, por favor ayúdeme a recuperar mi dinero, necesito que mi dinero llegue a mi cuenta.

Trop de mails pour dire la même chose venant de personnes différentes. Aucun intérêt de contacter par WhatsApp. Le site internet bug. Les mails sont soit en anglais soit en français.
