I ordered some replacement fridge parts and they were backordered. I got some weird emails that they were on their way, but then they didn't come.
I spoke on the phone to someone who was clearly overworked, and it turns out backordered items won't arrive if you ask for everything to ship at the same time. (They may never be in the warehouse simultaneously.)
So, they are a legit company and I love that they have people you can talk to. But, their system is broken and you may have to manage your order.
After customer service unchecked the "ship items together" option, I did get one of two parts but the other part will come like 6 months after ordering. This was not the advertised timeline.
I cancelled the order. They sent a cancellation Email back. But they still have not credited my card with the charge. Interesting that when you order they immediately charge your card. But when the order is cancelled they drag their feet and do not take the charge off the card or credit the card with the charge. Bad business practice.
Found needed part for Sony lens at their web-site.
Wanted it urgently, it says on web-site the part in stock and available for pick up at their facility. I paid get weird email with just order number and price with shipping address where is my home address from account, but i wanted pick-up.
I called them next day morning to check and make sure I can come to pick it up. Pretty nice lady said me that the part available in New York for pick up, not in my city and they proceed it to send to facility I ordered and will arrive during 3 days. I agreed sadly and calmy wait 3 days. On 4th day morning I call them again to make sure I can come to pick up. They said me the part still in NY and nothing going on, they could send it to my facility. I asked why it is still there I needed it 3 days ago. This time lady was disrespectful rude and can't answer my question why they do not procced with my order. I asked what they waiting for. She said they waited for my call =\
So crazy story, she started blame me etc, said that I can't hear her and part is still in NY and could be delivered only in one week for now. Unfortunately I do not remember her name. I just stopped that useless conversation. And recall to talk with other representative. I felt they spoke between each other already because another one started conversation in manner of previous one. So I asked to change delivery address to my office and it should take 3-5 business days as she said.
I don't want use this company anymore for business. I let my clients down because of them, my reputation is more important for me. I will use alternative dealers.
The only plus of this company is high amount of available original parts for Sony as for me.

First order completion was delayed. Second but minor, company email delivery date as day previous to actual date.
Third but detrimental, item arrived in nice packaging but used item. Striations in the plastic as well as something that seemed like food particles in the corners. Item was supposed to be new.

My saga with Encompass has been going on for months. The only reason I am giving a 5 star review is because of William Woolard who I found after calling this company 7-10 times. He did what no other person was willing to do, which was to use his brain to think about how to get something done, and then to do it. I ordered a part in black stainless, and I received it in regular stainless. This included calling warehouse managers to check stock inventory and following up beyond sending an email. As a result of his efforts the company realized that yes LG had sent the wrong part. He had the managers pull the wrong item off the shelves and the we placed the order for the correct part. I still have yet to see it arrive but at least there is finally traction on this and I feel confident that I may actually see the correct part.

Dear Lenovo and Encompass Customer Service Team,
I am writing regarding Order Confirmation #1-00979 and the unresolved issue surrounding the battery I purchased for my 4th Generation Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (Serial Number: PF-2CNNLB).
On February 5, 2026, I ordered a replacement battery through Lenovo Parts by Encompass. The same day, I called back and spoke with the same sales representative, Ray, to confirm that the battery listed in my order (Part #5B10W51827) was compatible with my specific computer model. I specifically provided my model details and serial number and asked for confirmation before proceeding. Ray assured me that “that’s what my system shows me,” confirming it would work with my device.
After receiving the battery, I took my laptop to Best Buy to have the installation professionally completed. Their technicians informed me that the part I was sent is not compatible with my computer. The correct battery originally installed in my system is Part #5B10W13932, and they further noted that the replacement battery I received does not even match the physical shape required for this model.
Following this discovery, I contacted Lenovo Parts by Encompass customer service and opened Update #1894128. I was provided a return shipping label, which I appreciate, but I have not received assistance in locating or obtaining the correct battery needed for my laptop. It has now been over a month, and I have not received any updates or resolution.
I have owned this computer for five years, and it has performed reliably throughout that time. I have always associated Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Yoga line with premium quality and professional reliability, which is why I have remained a loyal customer. Unfortunately, this experience with Lenovo’s parts affiliate has left me with a very disappointing impression of the support process.
I want to be clear: I would strongly prefer to remain a Lenovo customer. I am 41 years old and plan to continue purchasing high-end business laptops for many years to come, particularly models like the ThinkPad X1 Yoga. However, if issues like this cannot be resolved effectively, I will have to seriously consider switching to other manufacturers such as Dell or Asus for future purchases.
Over the course of my lifetime, this decision could represent many future computer purchases, potentially amounting to tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in long-term business. At the moment, I am still deciding which brand will earn that loyalty going forward.
What I am asking for is simple and reasonable:
Assistance in identifying and supplying the correct battery (Part #5B10W13932 or compatible equivalent) for my 4th Generation ThinkPad X1 Yoga.
Expedited resolution or replacement since the incorrect part was recommended by your representative.
Clear communication or follow-up regarding the status of my case (Update #1894128).
A prompt and thoughtful resolution would go a long way toward restoring my confidence in Lenovo and reinforcing my decision to continue purchasing Lenovo computers in the future.
I truly hope Lenovo and Encompass will treat this situation as an opportunity to demonstrate the level of customer care that customers expect from a premium brand.
