Colour description incorrect
Ordered 2 x Greige cushion covers but the colour of the covers was a definite yellowy cream.

Poor Customer Service
I bought two cushion covers from Ellenvale Interiors on 28 November as a Christmas gift. They were only opened after Christmas, when it turned out they were too big. The covers are unused and in perfect condition, but the company has refused to exchange them because they say I am outside their 14-day return period.
I’m not asking for a refund — just an exchange for the correct size — which I think is a very reasonable request for a Christmas purchase.
What makes this especially frustrating is that the company publicly stated in December that they “never want a customer to feel let down or out of pocket.” Sadly, that is exactly how this situation has left me.
A small amount of flexibility and customer care would have gone a long way here.

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the outcome. We do, however, need to apply our policies fairly and consistently for all customers. Unfortunately, this order was well outside of our 14-day returns period, which is why we were unable to offer a return or exchange.
As a business, we do not offer exchanges, and this is outlined clearly within our returns policy. All of our policies are available to view transparently on our website prior to purchase so customers can make an informed decision.
While we appreciate that the items were intended as a Christmas gift, many customers do purchase gifts throughout the year and we are unable to make exceptions without disadvantaging others who adhere to the same policy.
We always aim to provide clear information and fair pricing, and we regret that on this occasion we could not offer the resolution you were hoping for.

I love my Mulberry Cushion set from Ellenvale! I had an issue with my first order being mishandled by Royal Mail and I never received it. The company was very understanding when it came to my frustrations and sent another set just in time for Christmas. I’m very grateful and the cushions are beautiful and look great on my sofa. Mixed opinions on products
I am obsessed with 4/5 of my cushions, hence the star rating. The one I loved online was disappointingly the cushion that felt least luxury in my haul which was disappointing. Also placed my order, a day later there was a sale and my items had not yet been dispatched, emailed to ask if I could be reimbursed the sale price as I ordered less than 24 hours prior. Unfortunately my request was denied. Perhaps would’ve been more inclined to shop again if customer service was better.
