After making the switch to Ecwid I lost all of my readers and customers. None of them felt that they could trust Ecwid. Ecwid was not at all helpful. In the end I had to close my business of seven years. Now, with a few months left on this subscription, I find out that all of the useful features have been hid behind a second upgrade. And that upgrade costs a fortune. With the ‘sell on Google’ option, the help pages lead nowhere (misdirected) and the information available is five years old.

Keep your money and find an option that both you and your customers can trust. Ecwid is not it.

My experience has been very interesting along road. Being my first shop it was difficult at first. But i found lots of very helpful articles, videos, search engine through out thier platform. Lots of Configuration, many ways to make your shop look very neat, in different styles, in different departments of your shop, arrangement of products, took me along time cause it was new for me and i was taking my time with all information on how to do things on the site.

It's alot, I mean alot of reading and important information to help you along if you got stuck, I did many times. But patient is the key! I'm very happy with my results, made my first sale this month! The 12th

I don't like computers, therefore I'm bad at them. Ewcid makes a chore I don't like far easier on me. It's the most user friendly, and person available website builder Ive used. If there's drawbacks I'm unaware of them, and don't care, because I'd have no website or customers without Ewcid helping me.

I've been using Ecwid since August 2024 after a disastrous run around with WISHPOND. I liked working with the Ecwid store which I had to totally revamp from the useless mess WISHPOND made and when I learned I could build my own website with the same platform I did it. This is an outstanding platform to work with and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I'm actually astonished how great the support is! I'm a developer and few times I needed help from Ecwid support team to add my custom JS and CSS files to my application. I only needed wait about 1 or 2 hours tops for things to be added, that's really fast! When we needed some answers from them on chat the response is usually instantaneous! Great company with great API documentation and superb support!

Nonsense,I had to close down both my stores because I’ve been hacked two times on both the accounts which lead to clients being scammed and people’s private information were taken without their consent…caused a lot of damage to my brand 🚮 no protection whatsoever,I do not recommend Ecwid at all

Super Anbieter, der einem hilft in kurzer Zeit einen eigenen Onlineshop zu erstellen. Ich habe schon viele Anbieter ausprobiert, dieser punktet mit kinderleichter Bedienung und super Schnittstellen zu Social Media und Google Shopping. Keine nervigen Plugins oder kostenpflichtigen Extras! Ein responsives Design, Gutscheine und vieles mehr, Ecwid bittes alles, was man für einen soliden Onlineshop braucht. Das man für mehr Funktionalität auch Geld bezahlen muss, ist auch klar, was manche Leute hier in den Bewertungen nicht kapieren. Die Programmierer und Entwicklungen müssen natürlich auch bezahlt werden. Für mich ein super kompetenter Anbieter! Macht weiter so!

I started using this platform in October 2023 and I'm very pleased. It was easy to set up with the step by step prompts to get my e-commerce store up and running. The built in response tools for orders, payments and overall customer service are excellent and I wound recommend this platform to anyone who would like to start an online business!

Hätte nicht gedacht, dass es so einfach sein würde, einen eigenen Shop aufzusetzen. Die Bedienung ist wirklich simpel und meist selbsterklärend. Wenn man Fragen hat, bekommt man im Livechat sehr schnell und kompetent Hilfe. Die Mitarbeiter schauen auch gerne bei Fragen über den Shop. Shopgebühren absolut ok und verglichen mit den Provisionen, die man für den Verkauf der eigenen Produkte auf anderen Plattformen zahlen würde, sehr fair!

Einziger Minuspunkt: Bei mir funktioniert der Datenexport für die monatlichen Berichte nicht (Export der Zahlen in der Tabelle), da haut es mir die Formatierung durcheinander. Ich vermute, dass das mit deutschen Umlauten und Sonderzeichen (ß) zu tun hat, habe aber eine andere charmante Lösung des Monatsberichts gefunden.

Edit: Das finde ich super: Nachdem ich die Trustpilot Bewertung geschrieben habe, wurde ich sofort vom Ecwid Kundendienst kontaktiert, weil man sich das Problem mit dem Datenexport genauer anschauen möchte. Meine Mail heute Morgen wurde ebenfalls sofort beantwortet. Das nenne ich einen wirklich guten Support!

Edit: das Problem mit dem fehlerhaften Datenexport wurde vom Ecwid Kundendienst innerhalb 24 Std. gelöst. Toller Support!

Ecwid is not just a shopping cart but a full system including website backed up by a helpful team. We had a specific courier company we wanted to use and Ecwid met my needs with an integrated Api. The team worked to solve the problem. The shopping cart is modern and user friendly along with the website builder. Ecwid provide regular video updates and newsletters so you know what is going on behind the scenes and what to expect with cart updates.

I have a website where I sell products and the platform it provided by ECWID. Sadly for the past 12 months I have been battling with ECWID support team because their platform has a long standing defect that prevents my products from being indexed on google search console. This is costing my business huge amounts of lost revenue and all I get from them is we're working on fixing the issue but they cannot provide any timescales. This has been going on now for 12 months and they offer me no compensation, and still had the cheek to put the subscription costs up.

If you're thinking of building a web site to sell products I'd stay clear of ECWID,

They always respond quickly to support requests. I also find the set up super easy.
I know they are a local initiative and I want to support them for that as well.

Perfect platform

Initially, the software is easy to use and navigate, and like everyone new to the ecommerce game, it took a lot of time and effort to build the site. Once built, my first step was to get exposure on Google. Google could not index my pages, and created replacements for many of them, which could also not be searched OR indexed.
Ecwid could not resolve the problem, after MONTHS of "trying". I was give answers like "be assured our team is working hard to resolve this issue.", and we have made a change to this or that. Now try to re-index your site. It can take up to a week. ??? !!! ??? After 10 months of going through the mess of "tier 2" support working on this issue, and arguing about paying for a site that does not work, I simply had to scrap the site, and with much difficulty, insist that they completely close and delete the site. (They wanted it to remain as a free site). But that would tie up my domain name, which led to more issues. In my opinion, this company lacked the ability to diagnose and correct what ,to my mind, is a vey basic function of those wanting to utilize their product to it's fullest. If you can't use he product on Google, it's kind of useless. And although they readily admit that they could not resolve the problem, they refused to refund me for the time THEY could not make it work. For a company as large as they claim to be, you would think that they had some type of ability to interface with Google and Instagram etc., to resolve these matters. But, I guess as long as enough people are willing to blindly give their money for basic use of a product, they have no need for me or my money.

I moved my e-commerce platform from the cumbersome and outdated woocommerce\ WordPress combo to Ecwid\ NexLvL CRM combo & I've never looked back!

I looked at all the major e-commerce platforms on the market and Ecwid is by far the best featured for the price and it has the most incredible support team & help documentation on the market!

Forget all the other e-commerce platforms this is the one you want!

Approximately three months ago, I began utilizing Ecwid. I found the platform to be user-friendly and straightforward to navigate, despite my limited computer literacy. The ability to establish an online store where customers can make purchases and have the funds directly deposited into my bank account represents a significant personal accomplishment. I highly recommend Ecwid to anyone new to e-commerce. I rate it five stars.
