Very bad experience with Drivus, absolutely not recommended.

The car we received was dirty — really filthy. On top of that, the fuel tank was almost empty; we couldn’t even drive five kilometers, which is completely unacceptable when picking up a rental car.

The key didn’t work properly either, so we couldn’t lock the car. On day 5, the battery died completely. They did come to help, but that doesn’t make up for all the earlier issues.

When returning the car, they charged us an extra 400 dirhams because we were 40 minutes early!!! According to them, this was outside working hours, even though the contract clearly states they open at 7 AM. We arrived at 7:30 AM. They also insisted this had to be paid in cash, with no option to pay by card, which we refused because that gives no proof of payment.

This led to frustration from the staff member.

Overall: poor service, questionable practices, and multiple serious issues. For us, a definite NO GO

400 MAD extorqués pour un soi-disant “hors horaires” alors que le voucher indique ouverture 07h–23h. Refus de me donner le véhicule sans paiement = chantage.

+ 40 min de retard
+ Véhicule extrêmement sale
+ Personnel insultant (“fou”, propos déplacés)

Incompétence, mensonge et irrespect total.

Je déconseille fortement.

It was a sketchy rental in the airport parking lot. I booked a Citroën C3 Aircross but was presented with a Dacia Sandero that looked pretty beat up. The tires were in poor condition with almost no tread left. Drivus unilaterally canceled the booking because the first name on the reservation did not match the passport and driver's license presented (a minor autofill issue).

Leider hat diese Erfahrung nicht mal einen Stern verdient und ich möchte eine eindringliche Warnung aussprechen. Bei der Entgegennahme des Fahrzeuges hat noch alles geklappt. Eine Kaution von ca. 1.200,00 € musste wie üblich auf der Kreditkarte geblockt werden. So weit, so normal. Ein mittelgroßer Lackabplatzer an der Stoßstange wurde im Übergabeprotokoll vermerkt. Auch hier: So weit, so gut. Wie sich herausstellte, handelte es sich allerdings nicht nur um einen mittelgroßen Lackabpatzer, sondern um eine Delle, welche anscheinend behelfsmäßig repariert wurde, um nicht aufzufallen. Durch Temperaturunterschiede im Gebirge, fand die Delle wieder ihren Weg zurück in die Stoßstange, was uns bei der Rückgabe auf die Füße fallen sollte. Denn hier fing der eigentliche Spaß an. Wir hatten das "Full Coverage" Paket gebucht, welches alle Kosten übernimmt, bis 3.000,00 € sogar ohne Selbstbeteiligung. Trotzdem wurden wir nun bei der Rückgabe des Mietwagens dazu aufgefordert, die 1.200,00 € erneut und dieses Mal mit direkter Belastung des Kontos zu bezahlen. Angeblich soll der Betrag dann innerhalb von 24h zurückerstattet werden, weil dann die "Full Coverage" greift. Weiterhin sollte die erste Zahlung angeblich storniert werden, wofür es nie einen Beleg gab. Eine Diskussion mit dem Mitarbeiter entstand, und zwar solange, dass wir nun kurz davor waren unsere Flüge zu verpassen, weswegen wir den Betrag widerwillig gezahlt haben. Wie zu erwarten ist auch 2 Tage nach der Abbuchung nichts von unserem Geld zu sehen. Der Support seitens Drivus ist weder telefonisch, noch per Mail erreichbar. Daher nochmals eine Warnung, Augen auf bei der Mietfirmenwahl.

My experience with this company was very good

Very friendly, fast in verbal and writen response. Also friendly, talkative and trying to help if questions arise. Initial delivery to the apartment was a bit delayed, but also quick resolved and responded to, after my questions. Options for delivery of the car to an adress and pick up from an adress you provide is really great. European rental companys dont have that.

Arrivée à l'aéroport de Tanger avec ma femme et mes 2 enfants en bas âge. Tampon douane apposé à 21h05 (preuve matérielle de présence).

Le loueur n'est PAS PRÉSENT au point de rendez-vous convenu

8 appels téléphoniques successifs en 40 minutes au numéro fourni par DiscoverCars

Aucun bureau physique, aucun écriteau, aucune présence identifiable

Le loueur répond enfin :

Je lui transmets immédiatement la confirmation de réservation DiscoverCars (screenshot horodaté 21h16).

Après 8 appels, le loueur avoue :

Ce loueur exploite impunément les touristes à l'aéroport de Tanger. Sa méthode = aucune trace écrite, promesses verbales, disparition après paiement. DiscoverCars cautionne cette escroquerie en refusant de rembourser.

Je suis particulièrement en colère et décu vis à vis de Drivus agence de loaction aéroport de Casablanca :
En effet j'ai déjà détaillé la manière de procéder de Drivus dans mon évaluation du 22 janvier dernier que vous pouvez retrouver dans les avis Trustpilot.
Apès de nombreuses démarches infructueuses Drivus ne rembourse toujours pas la caution du véhicule de 850 € due depuis le 11 décembre 2025.
C'est du "vol" manifeste au delà de la négligence...et l'absence manifeste de professionalisme ...!!!
Pour information : j'ai reçu un mail de Drivus non signé debut février m'informant qu'un audit était en cours et qu'on me proposerait une solution de remboursement sous une semaine de délai ????? depuis plus rien ????
J'envisage une procédure de rétrofacturation comme conseillé par le broker Discovery Cars qui ne porte aucunement responsable ni concerné par cette situation ?
Tant que ce remboursement ne sera pas effectif je mets en garde toute personne en ce qui concerne une location de voiture à Casablanca avec Drivus...
Apparement je ne suis pas la seule vistime de Drivus ....

All around a great experience. I was incredibly pleased with the overall rental. The value is amazing and you will not find a better price for the product.
However, there are some issues
-Car arrived on empty fuel tank. Barely enough fuel to limp it to the fuel station. Unfortunately, this is standard practice for budget rental companies. They always deliver the car on empty in hopes of you returning in fuller than it arrived. That way they can siphon the excess out, use it in their own vehicles for free fuel, and give the car to the next customer on empty again. But thankfully the policy is you return it at same level you received it in. Just unfortunate there is no common professionalism in Morocco to deliver the vehicle with some fuel. But that is the way it is in Morocco.
-The car did have a lot of physical damage, but they allowed me to take a video and they took a video. There was no issues at all with the return because I was able to show the video with all the pre-existing damages. It's again standard practice in Morocco. If you return the car with damage, they will charge you for the damages but not actually fix the car with that money. But do note the car ran great for me with no issues
-My particular booking was supposed to have the car delivered and picked up from my location. The delivery of the vehicle was perfect, right to my location. However, the guy that picked up the car, had me drive all the way across Casablanca to drop the car off to him. I then had to find transportation back to my place. And there was no place to park the car when I arrived at the location he sent me. But the pickup guy was very kind, and all went well.
I think the reason I am giving this rental 5 stars is because of the good value, and I knew what to expect with budget rentals in Morocco. If this was my first rental in Morocco, I would not have been pleased.
So, if you expect American or European level service, stick to Avis or Hertz, etc. But if you are okay with less than ideal circumstances to save some money, I highly recommend DRIVUS more than any other budget car rental in Morocco.
