ADD Car ist keine seriöse Autovermietung. Die Angestellten finden bei der Übergabe oder Rückgabe scheinbar immer etwas zu bemängeln. Besonders ärgerlich: Wenn die Kreditkarte nicht embossed ist, fallen zusätzliche Gebühren an – ebenso bei Zahlung mit Amex.

Vor dem Büro kommt es häufig zu Diskussionen und Streit, da viele Kunden, die eigentlich sparen wollten, vor Ort mit unerwarteten Zusatzkosten konfrontiert werden. Das wirkt wie gezielte Abzocke.

Zudem werden online verschiedene Fahrzeugmodelle angeboten, tatsächlich erhält man aber in den meisten Fällen lediglich einen Dacia Logan.

Fazit: Lieber etwas mehr bezahlen und bei einem anderen Anbieter mieten. Ich werde hier definitiv nicht wieder buchen.

Terrible service at AddCar – Fort-de-France Airport. It took about an hour per customer to get a car. If there are people ahead of you, you can spend half a day waiting.
They use unfair practices: every car is claimed “dirty” and at least €50 is deducted from the deposit. Staff barely speaks English and did not allow us to document the car properly.

This is not cheaper, just stressful and dishonest. I have also reported this issue to DiscoverCars as an unfair business practice.

SCAM! Do not use!!! Paid a £90 deposit online upfront through economy rentals, economy rentals then sent me an email confirming my deposit and told me the car would be provided by add cars, gave me a number to contact the company on and told me to go to the desk at the airport to pay the rest of the money, on the day of the flight I messaged to confirm and give our flight number incase of any delays they never read my messages or answered my calls, no one was waiting at the airport and they have no desk there even though they say they do, luckily we managed to find a car last minute from somewhere else but their a joke, disgusting scammers, please do not go with them or book a car with them it’s not worth the hassle, we landed late at night and we were lucky to get another car at that time but others might not be so lucky

Es wurde bei Rücknahme ein Schaden eingefordert, auf welchen bei Übernahme des Fahrzeuges durch uns hingewiesen und durch einen Mitarbeiter mittels Foto dokumentiert aber offensichtlich verschwiegen wurde. Es folgte eine Rechnung über Schadenersatz ... unfreundlich, abweisend und: wir mussten Kühlflüssigkeit nachfüllen, um die Urlaubsfahrten fortzusetzen; auch das wurde ignoriert!
Diese Tatsachen sprechen für sich, wird wohl eine Sache für einen RA vor Gericht

Stelletje oplichters. Ik had via Carjet geboekt. Ter plaatse, Marrakech airport, moest ik 455 euro bijbetalen of ik kreeg mijn gereserveerde auto niet. Het was ondertussen bijna middernacht. Dit had niets te maken met verzekering of garantstelling. Pure oplichting. Nooit meer ADD-car voor mij.

Terrible experience at Agadir Airport with EconomyBookings and addCar.

I booked an SUV (Dacia Duster or similar), but was refused the vehicle even though it was clearly available. The agent openly said they could make more money renting it to someone else.

I was then pushed into taking a Dacia Lodgy (MPV), which is not the same category, and told my booking would be cancelled without refund if I refused. With my wife and newborn in the heat, I had no real choice.

To make things worse, my credit card was rejected for not being embossed, yet they still charged a large “deposit” on that same card instead of a normal hold.

This is not a mistake, it’s a deliberate upselling tactic under pressure. Avoid.

En lisant les avis je vois que beaucoup de monde sont arnaqués par ces voleurs. On se regroupe et on porte plainte au Maroc et en Europe. L agence applique des méthodes maléfiques pour escroquer les clients. C est inadmissible

Je déconseille fortement l’agence de location de voitures AddCar à Casablanca. C’est une vraie arnaque.

D’abord, ils n’ont même pas de véritable agence. Il faut les chercher dans le parking de l’aéroport et ils font les contrats directement sur place dans le parking, ce qui n’est pas du tout professionnel.

Ensuite, ils exigent une carte de crédit. Si vous n’en avez pas, ils vous demandent de payer 200 € en plus, sinon ils refusent de vous donner la voiture.

Le personnel est très désagréable et pas du tout serviable. De plus, ils trouvent toujours une excuse pour ne pas rendre la caution, qui peut aller jusqu’à 1500 €.

Les voitures sont sales, pleines de poussière, certaines ont même des équipements cassés (essuie-glaces en panne, etc.). En plus, ils ne vous donnent jamais la voiture que vous avez réservée sur le site.

Franchement, agence à fuir !

I rented a car through Carjet for a good price.
Upon arrival in Tangier, I found Ahmed in the parking lot. He said my credit card wasn't valid because only my initials were on it, not my full first name.
I couldn't get the car. I had to take out extra insurance for €9.00 per day to get the car.
With extra insurance, my credit card was suddenly valid.
They're thieves.
I called Carjet, but they don't answer. I waited in line for hours without being able to speak to anyone.
With the same credit card, I was able to rent several times in 2025 without any problems. In 2026, it suddenly stopped working.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST!!!! They will scare you and change you almost $1000 for any dings you were not even responsible for! When I picked up the car it was in a “shifty” area. I had to call a local number to get picked up after walking to the round about from the airport (yes they did not even pick you up up front). Then driven somewhere to what seems like a used car lot. By the time I was able to get my car it was dark and when I took a video of the car at the time I picked it up. You could not see all the damage on it. Mind you the car had over 150000 km on it already and was pretty well driven. Dings and all. THEY CHARGED ME FOR A TINY TINY DING that I know I didn’t add because the car was parked in a garage and not on the streets and it had SEVERAL dings even bigger when I picked it up. I could tell I would have issues with them when I picked up the car but it was too late and I was jet lagged from hell to change it.

One of the worse rental companies I ever rented a car from. The staff members are rude in Marrakech Airport and dishonest, the cars are not road safe to drive as you would expect from any other rental car company. In addition, staff members demanding extra payment for themselves in order to provide you a cleaner, safer or automatic car, which is not legal and should mirror the specification of car you have rented and paid for already. Do NOT RENT any car from this company in Marrakech Airport

Une expérience catastrophique, ne réservez jamais sur le site, et ne passez jamais par Add car.
J’ai réservé une voiture que je devais récupérer à l’aéroport de Tanger.
Un homme se présente avec une heure de retard, pas de bureau, aucun signe de reconnaissance.
Je lui présente les papiers ainsi que la carte bancaire utiliser afin de payer la location et la caution. Il m’explique d’après leurs conditions que ma carte n’est pas acceptée. Je précise qu’il s’agit d’une carte visa crédit et débit utilisée à l’international mais apparemment avec eux ça ne fonctionne pas ensuite ils m’inventent des frais supplémentaires et que si je les paye, je pourrais avoir la location, j’ai dû accepter car je n’avais pas d’autres alternative. il prennent la caution sur la carte bancaire qui soi-disant ne fonctionnait pas de base pour cet usage.
Ce sont tout simplement des escrocs et les autorités ont été informé sur place.

State alla larga dalla filiale addCar di Rabat (partner Benz Car). Sono stato vittima di un'estorsione al banco di noleggio.
Il mio voucher prepagato indicava esplicitamente che la mia MasterCard era accettata. Al banco, l'addetto ha passato la carta e il deposito cauzionale è stato autorizzato con successo dalla mia banca. Subito dopo, l'addetto ha stornato/annullato volontariamente la transazione dal POS (ho gli estratti conto ufficiali della banca che lo dimostrano inequivocabilmente) solo per dirmi falsamente che la mia carta era stata "rifiutata" dal sistema.
Sono stato letteralmente ricattato: o usavo una carta locale marocchina pagando 715 MAD in più (che includevano un'assurda "Tassa sulla carta di credito" di 55 MAD e un'assicurazione non richiesta), o mi avrebbero lasciato a piedi senza l'auto già pagata.
Fingono che le carte dei clienti non funzionino per obbligarli a comprare le loro assicurazioni extra e pagare tasse illegali sui pagamenti. Sto procedendo con il Chargeback per frode bancaria. Evitateli assolutamente.

J'ai réservé chez addcar a Marrakech, vraiment je suis fait avoir par des arnaqueurs pour j'avais une carte de crédit et la surprise j'ai payé en plus des frais que eux sont inventé toute pièce attention a tous danger.

Avoid Add Auto Bari – Very Unprofessional Experience
I had a very disappointing experience with Add Auto in Bari and would strongly advise avoiding them.
We went to the designated area at Bari Airport and called to say we had a booking. We were told someone would come to collect us within 10 minutes. Instead, we waited over 30 minutes. Eventually, a woman arrived in a private car with a friend. It appeared she had been dropping off her friend before collecting paying customers.
When I asked why it took so long, she claimed there had been an accident. I checked and there was no accident, so I’m not sure why she felt the need to lie.
We were then driven to their office, which is very far from the airport. Once there, she took our documents and told us we had to pay an extra €190 because my husband’s UK driving licence was “not recognised” and that an International Driving Permit was required. We were unable to produce one, despite having rented cars all over the world before without any issue.
She then proceeded to say there were no cars available at the airport, taxis were very expensive, and generally tried to pressure us into accepting the situation. At that point, I refused and requested to be driven back to the airport. We then rented a car from a reputable company without any problems.
We travel frequently and have never experienced anything like this before. The whole process felt misleading and unprofessional.
I also contacted Economy Bookings, as they were the platform through which the booking was made, but they were not helpful at all. Since they enabled this booking, I would also avoid using Economy Bookings in the future.
Avoid Add Auto (and Economy Bookings) at all costs.

Achtung: Unseriöser Anbieter – Finger weg!
Ich kann nur eindringlich davor warnen, bei dieser Firma ein Auto zu mieten in Marokko Rabat/sale Flughafen . Meine Erfahrung war extrem negativ und lässt auf ein unseriöses Geschäftsgebaren schließen.

Bei der Fahrzeugübergabe musste ich zunächst etwa eine Stunde warten. Anschließend wurde behauptet, meine Kreditkarte funktioniere nicht für die Kautionsabbuchung – obwohl die Karte über ausreichende Limits verfügt und bei anderen Geschäften vor Ort problemlos akzeptiert wurde.

Daraufhin versuchte man, mir eine zusätzliche Versicherung aufzuzwingen. Nach rund ein Stunde (!) Klärungsversuchen mit Bank und Vermittler habe ich den Mietwagen schließlich nicht übernommen.

Trotzdem wurden mir die bereits gezahlten Geld für die Automiete nicht zurückerstattet.

Mein Fazit: Absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Wer Stress, Zeitverlust, unfreudliche Personal und finanzielle Schäden vermeiden möchte, sollte diese Firma unbedingt meiden.

0 Sterne – Absolut unseriös
Bei Addcar Flughafen Rabat am Rabat-Salé Airport wurde mir trotz bestätigter Reservierung das Auto verweigert, weil die Nummer auf meiner Visa-Karte nicht geprägt ist.
Zusätzlich sollte ich die Kaution bar zahlen und noch 12 € pro Tag extra bezahlen.
Besonders ein junger palästinenser Mitarbeiter trat sehr unhöflich und respektlos auf und war überhaupt nicht hilfsbereit.
Finger weg von diesem Anbieter.

Absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Kaputtes Auto erhalten, mussten zurück fahren, alles auf unsere Kosten. Nächstes Auto zeigte auch Mängel. Lasst die Finger davon!

Aéroport d’Agadir :
Gérant qui parle mal au client.
D’après lui, il estime que le prix des locations n’est pas suffisamment cher donc trouve il toujours un prétexte pour que le client souscrit un service supplémentaire payant. Si le client refuse, le gérant annule la location avec un faux prétexte.
Quand on se retrouve contraint de souscrire le service pour éviter de payer une 2e location de dernière minute, on réclame votre carte bancaire prétextant le remboursement de la caution mais c’est en réalité un paiement de 50Dh absolument pas justifié.

COMPAGNIE A FUIR, rapprochez vous de United Rent a Car (par vip car) qui pratique des prix similaires et ne pose aucun problème si le permis présenté, le passeport et la carte de crédit (+prepaiement paiement de la caution) sont au nom du conducteur ayant fait la réservation.
