Would absolutely rate zero stars if possible.

Will withdraw money from your linked card, then send a number of demand letters threatening to report to credit agencies, debt collection and legal action stating the amount is overdue.
Don't know whether this is due to badly utilised/designed systems or general incompetence but is completely unacceptable.

Demand credit card statement for periods that have not closed so statements are not yet available within a shirt timeframe.

Definitely beware, would not recommend or use again under any circumstances

The app is pretty glitchy, but the support team is super quick and helpful! Amber was really great and responsive.

Sebastian and Amy were very helpful in completing my trip. They took me step by step to complete the trip as a new user to the Drive mate.

This company should be shut down. They charged me months after a trip after having changed the terms of my booking without warning or notifying me. Their customer service refused to refund me. When I tried to delete my account, I was unable. Do not use this company.

I recently reached out to drivemate’s customer care team regarding an issue I was experiencing, and I am impressed with the level of service I received. Poor customer service. Lack of transparency around timeframe responses to queries. Its took 17 messages to find out its gonna take 7 days to respond to my query. They didnt include the $125 cleaning payment for my car that was returned filthy. This was organised last month with emails confirming the payment would be made this month along with my car payment. But the whole system is a shambles. I hired my car out once but will not do that again with this company.

It is really difficult to use the app.
It seems to be buggy and always lagging at the moment of pick up and drop off.

Rhea and Mary who assisted me were amazing though.
They helped me to do both drop off and pick up and even answer questions I had. Amazing team if not it would literally be a lower score

Melvin was helpful with my drivemate issue and walked me through the steps I needed to take.

I have returned a hired car on time and put the key back in the lockbox. An hour later i realised i forgot something in the car. Went back and the car was still parked there (lucky). Called drivemate customer service and emmanuel helped me retrieve what i needed in the car. It was easy. Super thanks to superb customer service.

They have sent me 4-5 emails per day and yet I cannot book a car. Worst app ever.

Worst platform to rent your car.
It takes forever to get your money back for tolls, petrol or any financial matter.
I’ve been battling with them for 7 months to get a refund for a car damage.
Customer service is as bad as it can be, they are reading pre-made texts to keep you waiting, say they escalate to the resolution team but never come back to you.
Definitely go for Turo or honestly any other app available.
Worst experience.

Drive Mate have picked up the pieces of failed Uber Drive Share and the service is very good.
The car hire is inexpensive compared to normal commercial hire cars and their app enabled lock/unlock/drive for the car is amazing.
It means the pick up and drop off is very seamless and easy.
On the one time I had an issue
with the app and accessing the car, support answered the contact phone number in the app after hours immediately and fixed the access issue within 5 minutes.

Don't risk renting your car through Drivemate if you need it. I rented my car through Drivemate platform. When my car ws damaged in a no fault accident by a driver my vehicle was rendered unusable. Despite reporting he same day, Drivemate took 1 moth to take action on the claim. 4 months later the vehicle is rusting the the garage, Drivemate and the Insurer Global Transport don't engage or communicate. I have been patient and tolerant but they have show that I have to resort to public shaming to get them to take action. Their insurance policy is not worth the paper is written on

Tha Rav 4 was so handy to have, enjoyed driving the car. Will perhaps hire again some day, Also I had the most professional of high standard customer service by Melvin, We would like to Thank You for making the process of the Pick-Up & Drop-Off easy to understand and complete the instructions i am confident and willing to hire from drive mate in the future, and to also recommend drive mate the only way to drive in Cairns.
