There are some issues with the app but EDELYN helped me out. Overall, the customer service experience is good to me

I appreciate Jeremy’s help with verifying my licence however only being able to communicate back and forth through email is extremely time consuming. What could have taken 5 minutes on the phone nearly took an hour to resolve due to the emailing. It would be great if there’s an option to speak on the phone to the verification department especially when it’s a technical error on the app that’s causing delay .

Some people have mentioned issues with the verification procedure. I faced that too initially, but Jeremy provided good communication and sorted it out quickly.

Told my partner that his verification process can’t be accepted and that they can’t give him a reason. He’s never been in an accident before or has never damaged any cars. Very strange that they are not able to give a reason.

Even with a overseas driver license they took the time and the shot. Everyone since the beginning were super nice, Mary and Jeremy very diligent! Great service, very reliable

I had a bit of trouble with the Verification process as I have a foreign driving license, I do think this part of the process needs to be reviewed so either foreign licenses can be accepted, or that it is clear a foreign license is not applicable for verification.

However the customer support team were very helpful over the live chat, including Jeremy, Amy and Gem, big shout out to them as they helped me to get to my first booking and were very professional and helpful.

We are hosts on Drivemate. Be extremely cautious with this company. Vehicle was written off by a renter in June. The claims team cannot be reached by phone - they can call you and that is all. You can message or email, but if they choose not to respond, that’s that.
We found out the vehicle was written off rather than repairable only when Service NSW sent a letter to tell us that. The insurer paid Drivemate out over a month ago and they are stalling releasing our funds. Unresponsive and ineffectual at resolving the matter. They are holding funds for an asset that they did not own.
November and no payment in sight. You have no protection from any of the usual insurance-related ombudsmen or regulators, and you are not the insured - they are. A very strange arrangement when they are not the legal owners of the asset that’s covered.
Poor service, tickets go unanswered for months and then are summarily closed with no input from us. Never again. Turo is not much better, but would suggest you try them first. Anything but this.
Lawyers have been engaged, tribunal proceedings initiated and fraud charges being considered.

It’s such a Scam. We lost over 200€ and got nothing. And lost about 5h life time and had way to many stressfull phonecalls and Chats without any outcome.

Horrific. Can't give it 0 stars or negative stars.
My verification wasn't approved, so I can't sign up. Raised a query with support team, who confirmed that I can't sign up and will not be able to, ever, apparently, and they 'can't' tell me the reason. Anyway, based on the other reviews I see here, maybe that's a good thing.

Urgent account verification was needed and Jeremy was super helpful to get this sorted in a timely manner. Very thankful.

Support team are great, Evelyn was very helping manually putting through my pickup details. This is not the first time I haven’t been able to compete a pickup via the app, it’s not very user friendly

Einfach eine Katastrophe
Das erste gemietete Auto ist 2h Fahrt vom Standort entfernt, dank Support konnte das Auto wieder gecancelt werden. Auf das Geld warte ich 2 Wochen später immer noch.
Danach habe ich dann auf der App ein zweites Auto ausgewählt, wegen eines Fehlers meinerseits direkt wieder gecancelt. Auch hier bekam ich die Rückversicherung dass ich das Auto ohne Probleme canceln kann und mein Geld zurück bekomme. Bisher auch immernoch nichts da.

Das gleiche Auto dann noch einmal Fehlerfrei gebucht, als dann die Location 1h vor pick up angezeigt wurde war das Auto wieder 1h Fahrt von mir weg. Also dank Support wieder gecancelt.

Für Das nächste Auto habe ich mir dann bestätigen lassen, dass es nur ein paar Meter von mir weg steht. Beim Auto angekommen gesehen dass das Auto einen Strafzettel hat, generell etwas abgeätzt aussieht, und dass ein Reifen deutlich platter aussieht als die anderen drei.
Bei dem Wunsch auch das Auto zu canceln wird die Firma plötzlich sehr unfreundlich, und reagiert kaum mehr auf Nachrichten und Anrufe. Bisher ist ein Refund der 4 Autos auf meinem Konto angekommen. Der Kundenservice reagiert auch nicht mehr auf meine Nachrichten.

Die App ist auch eine Katastrophe, ständig stürzt sie ab und friert ein.

Fazit: Nehmt mehr Geld in die Hand und geht zu anderen namhaften Anbietern
