DLG Auto Services is Direct Line Group’s UK network of bodyshops, today consisting of 23 garages nationwide which makes us one of the largest repair groups in the UK. We repair around 100,000 accident damaged cars every year, and all cars are repaired to British Kitemark BS 10125 standard, the British safety standard for vehicle damage repair. All repair work comes with a 5-year guarantee, and we are committed to ensuring we meet the manufacturers repair standards to ensure our customers vehicles are repaired to the highest standards. By investing in new technologies, we are preparing the business for the future and will have a better understanding of how technology will affect the design and manufacture of cars. Our high operating efficiency allows us to deliver excellent cost control whilst meeting our environmental targets through lowering emissions and increased recycling. We are exploring a range of solutions to embed our environmental goals as part of our emissions reduction strategy, including using alternative fuels such as hydrogenated vegetable oil and energy efficient lighting. Quality repair

Was worried they might not be able to repair my Kuga with pearlescent paint and paint protection as they’re not a Ford garage. Needn’t have worried. Quick to pick up on a trailer and only a few days to repair. Came back sparkling. Apparently they prepare what the need from description and photos even before they get it. Excellent communication throughout. Strongly recommend.

After initial contact and some back and…

After initial contact and some back and forward phone calls all services were good. Operators were polite and helpful which made the experience pleasant. The follow up of trying to assist me with car phone problems was good too with a very helpful and polite engineer.

Keep you well informed from start to…

Keep you well informed from start to finish with everything related to car and what needed doing, either by phone text. Staff all polite and nothing to much when you want something, they go out there way to help you. Would highly recommend them

Gold Standard Service

DLG Barnsley deserve the five stars I have given them because they gave us gold standard service. It was a pleasure to deal with the driver who collected/returned our car, the office staff and the assessor. They were all friendly, informative and efficient. The text updates we received were also very helpful. When the car was returned to us it was so immaculate, that it looked like it had just come out of a showroom. I have no hesitation in recommending DLG Barnsley for any vehicle repairs.

Helpful friendly service

The ladies answering the phone calls and the driver who collected and delivered the car was very friendly and helpful. The repair was done sooner than the original estimated time. However, after I got the car back I found the electric control of the driver-side mirror was not working. A technician was sent to fix it. He found that the team who did the repair didn't plug the wire in properly causing it not to work. The team need to be more careful and also need to check that everything is working properly before delivering the car back.
