DLG Auto Services - Barnsley Omdömen 

I rarely leave reviews but this company deserves 0 Stars, but I feel I need to warn others about my experience with DLG Auto Services in Barnsley. My insurer sent my car there for a minor respray. The work was very poor. The car came back in a different colour, with trims left unprotected, door seals and front grilles damaged, and overspray across the bodywork. I returned the car to them for a second attempt, but the problems were still there.
The insurer then sent one of they assessor out, who found the standard of work unacceptable. The car was moved to another repairer, who said all the work would need to be redone from scratch. Once the new repair costs were added, the insurer decided to write the car off.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this garage to go elsewhere. Being given a second chance did not fix the problems, and the whole process has caused me a great deal of stress and inconvenience.

From receiving a phone call to having car returned service was 1st class same with your diver delivery men were well mannered and helpful and reliable also the work was very good 👍 good

They kept me informed to what was happening to my car. The car came back like new. Really pleased.

Professional service from DLG good communication throughout the repair from the customer service and the online status of the repair progress was useful.
Collection and delivery of my car and courtesy car was an easy process and the quality of the courtesy car was very good, a nearly new Nissan.
There was an unexpected delay with the supply of parts but that was beyond the control of DLG.

I used DLG Auto services in Barnsley for a crash repair they went above and beyond to make sure repair was done correctly and kept me informed at all stages thankyou for an Exellent service to all the team 👍

Took too long to pick car up and too long to fix it. It was returned with faults that they have refused to fix fobbing me off with it's an existing fault. So now I've got to pay someone else to do the work

The quality of repair was excellent, but the time it took was much longer than expected. They did not keep us up to date with progress , so had to keep ringing, in all it took just over 8 weeks.

I cannot thank DLG Barnsley enough for the service I’ve received throughout what has been a long and stressful process following my accident.

From start to finish, they have been professional, proactive, and genuinely supportive. A special mention has to go to Matt and Tom Garbett – both have been absolutely fantastic. They kept me updated, pushed things forward when needed, and really took the stress out of the situation.

All of the girls in the office were also incredibly kind, helpful, and always happy to assist whenever I called. It really makes a difference when you feel looked after.

They did everything they could to get my car sorted as quickly as possible and made a difficult situation much easier to deal with.

I’m very happy with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Please give them all a raise! 😊

Fantastic work from the guys at DLG Barnsley. Car picked up right on time and delivered back right when they said. The repairs are excellent, the car looks brand new. Communication, wether phone call or text was brilliant. Can't thank them enough.

In my past I ve dealt with many dodgy garages but this place beats them by a mile . They are a bunch of incompetent crooks. I had to take my car 3 times (took them a month and half)to fix wat was supposed to be a minor job. And they did such a great job that after 3 months marks started to appear. I realised that they are a bunch of thieves when I asked the price of repairs and job done.(I found in the end from my insurance over 4200£) also instead to replace the damaged wheel they decided to repair it because make sense why replace something that cost 100£ when you can do a bad job and charge thousands ,to be honest I still have the warranty but dealing with this horrible people is not worth it.
Not to forget first time when I took it back they forgot some materials stuck to the wheel that was overheating witch could lead to a fire if I wouldn't discovered in time. Second time I hade to drive for a week with defective brakes causes they said is safe to drive.
So one star is to much for this place but I can not give 0. If you want to deal with crooks incompetents thieves this is the place also they lost some minor parts that i had to buy caps mold sealant

Awful rubbish mechanics don't use.

A brilliant service from start to finish. My car was picked up and a courtesy car delivered (this was immaculately clean). I was kept informed of how the repairs to my car were progressing. All the staff I had contact with were very friendly, polite and professional. I am hard of hearing and the young lady on the phone was very patient. My car was returned, repaired to an excellent standard &valeted inside & out. Could not have wished for anything better.

From day one kept me informed at all times, found them to be very efficient, phoned to say when and at what time picking car up, was on time, phoned to say when it was returning on time again, could not fault the service excellent.

It is not always easy after an accident to pick a reliable company but that is exactly what I got. Very professional all staff will go that extra mile cod not have asked for more

My car was repaired quickly and efficiently and when the car was returned it was so well valeted it looked like a new one. Well done DLG superb service.

After a few hiccups on my part which was no fault of DLG, I finally got my car collected to be repaired and was given a really nice automatic Skoda SUV whilst it was away. Repair took less than a week and you cannot tell there was ever an accident! Communication was perfect and the driver who collected and dropped off my car was really friendly and polite. Don't hesitate in using these guys.

very efficient at booking in and collection times, but work standards leave a lot to be desired, on the rear door they had tried to buff the scratches out of the paint but there are still two marks that have not come out and are quite plain to see, when we collected the car the dust inside was so deep you could write your name in it, drivers door must have been opened while raining leaving the dust to turn sludgey then drying have washed the door card twice and it still hasnt come of . a big company like DLG should not return cars in this condition
