I wish i had read reviews about this thiefing company. Ruuuuuunnnnnn Awwwwwwaaaayyy from them. They are liars, thieves and scammers. I ordered a bed from them first came the base and then i had to wait on the mattress which did not come on the date promised. May i add i suffer disabilities which means i had no bed to sleep in for days. I decided to cancel the order as i was very un happy with their service. Plus the cheap base that came i was un impressed. They would not take back the base although it was in my 14 day return policy. Plus to add more injury to insult the mattress i told them i did not want they have charged me 145 pounds to return it and only is return 129 pounds to me. The mattress never came here, i cancel it because of non delivery of the day expected and no.update of new date delivery. I even had to write them again about my refund. This company is a disgrace and you should be put out of business. Never again. Still awaiting refund since last year. Quick to scam and take people.money but long to refund. May this year bring ur company more misfortune just like what you have caused me and other people. Hopefully this can make people aware of your crappy thiefing company!!!!!

Purchased a 5000 pocket spring Luxury pillowtop matress, only to find that they have deivered the wrong item a not what we oredered. Tried to conttact online via Web chat that is of no help directs you send an email. Emailed sales no reply still waiting ,also tried to contact on there telephone no: this turns out to be a fake as well. there 24/7 service is not available. Their website states Wake up happy with Divan-beds.co.uk
what a poor choice of words to use a poor customer service. Do Not Purchase from these Guys as you will only be dissapointed their non respone to wrong deliveries. Be Warned Customers

Bed came very polite lads. Bed is beautiful and amazing price.. only down side I had tonphone then a few times to chase up my bed.. All forgiven when the bed came and the two lads were amazing!! Happy customer..

Just, rubbish frankly. Ordered a 'memory foam 4ft double' mattress. I was emailed at 5:40pm on 24th July, and given less than 24 hours notice about a delivery window of between 2pm and 6pm for TODAY (the 25th July). And when I received that delivery notification, I spotted that apparently, they do not deliver to your door but only to the communal entrance. I live alone, in a first floor flat.
I contacted the company to ask if they could supply help to carry the mattress. I got TWO responses - the first basically saying "No", and then pointing out to me some buried info tab on their website where it states about their delivery policy. (THIS INFO SHOULD BE TRANSPARENT! I am NOT the only person who lives alone and not on a ground floor!)

Then a second email stating that yes, help to carry the mattress IS possible, but at a charge of £55. I was working last night so was unable to respond. I emailed them this morning (25th July) to request help. No reply came.
I managed to get a neighbor to agree to help me carry the mattress up stairs to my flat.
But then the mattress arrived an HOUR EARLY (at 1:00pm) so my neighbour was not available and I had to rally an ask another neighbour to help!!
Got the mattress upstairs... checked it against my order. And they have not sent me what I ordered at all - but some sub-standard alternative. (I have pictures to prove it is not the same as what I ordered)
I am loathed to return as I was already told by the company that returns will be charged at £89.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Smoke and mirrors! And their products are not what they say they are on the website.
Spend a bit more money and get your mattress elsewhere, I'd say. I'll be giving this one to charity.

I was enquiring about beds with numerous companies for a divan bed on Facebook and the actual seller was a total con artist,
I really apologise for my mistake.
I didn't realise who he actually was but he advertised as Divan Beds only.

We Just moved in to our New home and needed the beds as soon as possible
The beds took weeks to arrive and when they did arrive there was no mattresses and also stated on driver paperwork no mattresses ordered, Trying to contact the company was hard so eamailed my time again waisted did not expect a split order , I payed £830 for 2 beds with Pocket sprung memory foam lololol there ridiculous mattresses,,you expect them to be better than what you actually get, when driver turned up there was only 1 driver with half my order u expected after waiting weeks for the beds.. bieng disabled, I've had to haul the bed bases up the stairs although i stated needed 2 drivers please when i ordered obviously my email was not read, driver said mattresses will arrive in few days,the bed bases are OK few faults on the trims are hanging off on the draws.
The mattresses eventually arrived,,lol im sure i payed extra for an expected exceptional memory foam mattress,wow!! These are really bad for the description they say about thier mattresses these are cheap and nasty when you sit on edge,, ive almose fell off the side sitting on the bed,, the springs are just ridiculous you can feel al the springs around the edge of the mattresses right through with a very thin material covering the mattresses like a sandwich thin layer of sponge on the top.
I must say these are the worst mattresses I've ever felt I'm so upset for that price.
I wrote and they was the mattresses I ordered , definitely not expected the quality for the price horrible and really not expected I thought they would be lovley and heavy and Foam Pocket sprung springs no there metal and very flimsy.
The headboards are ok.

Amazing value for money. Far better than I expected. Looks luxurious and really finishes bedroom off. The mattress is fab, nice and firm great night's sleep! Really easy to put together did it on my own so if I can do it, anyone can. Bed arrived on time, professionally delivered.
Definitely recommend this company.

Ordered a bed which was delivered as promised within 7 days. The wrong bed came but Divan beds got back to me immediately to arrange an exchange. It came the next week.

The bed was delivered on time and I got what I ordered, everything was good, I was told delivery would be today and 15 minutes beforehand I got a call from the delivery driver. All items were in the boxes as promised. The driver was very helpful too. I wish all suppliers were as good as this experience

I was a bit sceptical on ordering after reading some reviews but went ahead anyway thinking I could recall my money back from the bank if anything goes wrong.
Worried for nothing, I ordered two beds with two draws in each bed no mattresses and full size headboards for both beds, both ordered 17th November they arrived 22nd November, just before delivery man left I noticed they had sent standard headboards instead of the full size ones I had paid for, I sent them back with the delivery man who assured me they would deliver them the day after or the day after that, so now I'm thinking here we go, but true to their word the day after my headboards arrived. One Happy customer as these beds are nearly double the price for the same beds at Dreams, I'm that pleased I am recommending Divan Beds UK to my family and friends. Thank you

Ordered a bed in March fantastic service & quality. Ordered another bed in September exactly the same, no contact was made to when bed would be delivered. Arrived no warning. One delivery driver who could not lift the bed dropped it at my front gate and couldn’t leave fast enough! Bed and mattress both damaged, no feet for bed or headboard attachments. Telephone lines are not manned, emails take about 3 days to get a response. Told I should have inspected the bed before accepting very difficult when the delivery guy practically runs out the door. No email to advise bed would be collected or what action would be taken then A delivered guy appears at my door few days later saying he’s there for a collection of tyres, we were lost, he said do you have anything that needs to be collected, then said oh it might be a bed, as he didn’t have a replacement bed we refused this collection. Thank god we did as Another bed appears next day again same delivery guy drops bed on way in again! Kept him there until I check over bed. Firstly mattress is covered in black stains, then bed was burst open under the drawers when delivery guy stands bed up the drawer front falls off! Told them to return it all photos emailed to company. I was firstly told they would give me £20 to keep my mouth shut on social media then it was increased to £30! I’ve told them I will keep original damaged bed and accept £30 as I can’t deal with the stress any longer and now been told I am no longer eligible for the £30 as I didn’t take this offer up at the time and they will close this out. Absolutely shocking customer service, save yourself money and stress go elsewhere!!!

Wish I’d have found these reviews before ordering 🙈 our bed was delivered with an essential component missing (brackets for support beams missing from the footboard) I contacted the sales team by email as there is no phone number and they had the cheek to say I should have checked on delivery baring in mind that the delivery driver dumped the fully shrink wrapped bed components on the doorstep. There’s no way he would have stayed until I’d carried the components upstairs unaided (which took a while) removed all the shrink wrap and packaging and assembled the bed to the point where I realised the footboard brackets were missing. Customer service is none existent. This company can not even make and deliver functional bed which is it’s only product 🙈

Update - the online chat that claims to be 24 hours never connects to assistant and the phone number given on emails from the sales teams rings and rings and rings there is nobody there and no answerphone. Furthermore despite only being able to contact the company via email they also threaten to block you when you send multiple emails.

Further update - the company are refusing to provide a refund despite the product being defective (bed frame narrower at the headboard than footboard so bed slats do not fit). I have contacted trading standards and citizens advice.

Another update - after 14+ emails in which the company has accused me of ‘making multiple false claims that the bed frame has issues’ they have said they will charge a Return Delivery Charge of £129. This is in-spite of them receiving photos and video evidence of the faults/ errors. They have also ‘reported me to their legal department’ for writing this factual review.

Another update - their emails and website quote ‘ Guaranteed Reply Within 24 Hours’ and as of 6:53pm this evening this is more false advertising on their part as they have not replied to my latest email.

It is now 5 weeks since I ordered a bed from this company, I am still without a fit for purpose bed (it is unusable as the slats will not fit / lie flat within the frame as the frame is narrower at one end than the other) the company have not offered a solution, compensation or full refund.

Another update - had several further email exchanges with a ‘manager’. They tried to fob me off with a replacement bed frame which I did not agree too but they dispatched anyway. I received a shipping notice for the replacement frame that I never agreed to on Monday PM (2:30pm) saying it would be delivered the next day Tuesday. I then received an email Tuesday which said I could no longer return the item as I was not home at 9:19am when the courier tried to deliver the frame I never agreed to. I didn’t have access to emails for this period but I think they expected me to package the item and book a day off work with less than 24 hours notice. Citizens advice agree that less than 24 hours notice is not reasonable to make the necessary arrangements for a return/collection. Citizens advice have advised that I am eligible for a full refund without deductions or, a price reduction on what i’ve paid for the goods.’

The company have never even offered compensation or a price reduction.

If anyone has had any similar experiences please contact citizens advice asap and the bank you used to pay for the goods as they can claim on your behalf.

Update the company are trying to get this review taken down as clearly they have something to hide. I have verified my order with trust pilot though so hopefully this review will continue to warn and prevent future victims.

Misleading selling, chose plain cotton fabric from the choice of tiles offered....however in small print it says cotton chenille available...but doesnt say ONLY cotton chenille available...but that is what they mean. My order said grey cotton, my receipt email said grey cotton BUT I got grey cotton chenille, which they said was my fault for not reading small print! Note lots of the good reviews mention the delivery....the delivery man does not bring into house, nor is it possible to fully inspect the goods outside or in a small hall way when on your own.
Once unpacked the poor quality was clear...2 staples protruded from the base. Once contacted they offered an exchange, they confirmed the date, it was further confirmed one working day before and a text received. They did not turn up!! I then asked to return the faulty bed but they said I would have to rearrange exchange then return the exchanged bed on a different van at a cost of at least £49!!. The customer service throughout was very "cut and paste". The delivery company then phoned to deliver on a day I had said I wasn't available but the van broke down which was lucky in this case...!! (Potentially another wasted day!)
The 4th delivery day was organised by myself and the delivery company lady...she was the only person who seemed to appreciate the inconvenience of deliveries not arriving when a whole day has had to be booked off. I now have a poor quality bed in an unwanted fabric and am weighing up the return fee and the need to allocate yet another day to their unreliable delivery system.
I would not recommend this company.
Also they offer various grades of mattress however the mattress has no label on it so impossible to know what you have received!

Fabulous service and mattress. We went to bensons and nearly bought a £2000 artisan mattress. I came home and just out of interest put the full name in google and divan beds came up with the exact same one. We ordered the super king size and paid £595.

It arrived yesterday 6 days after order. The delivery guy was fabulous and brought it into our hall. It is extremely heavy and last night my husband and I slept like babies.

We both almost sprung out of bed we slept so well

Honestly I will be recommending them to everyone I know as the service, delivery and mattress is second too non

Really happy with the service and quality of the products from Divan beds . Could have done with an advance notice of when the bed would be arriving but apart from that very happy. Bed is an Faux leather Ottoman, very sturdy , simple to put together , and a good quality of finish. Strong struts . The mattress is an absolute bargain and so far so good for sleep. I would say more firm than medium but with a topper it feels great . Will definitely use Divan beds again and would recommend .
