Bots for customer service, Data Breach 4 months ago, and now theyre announcing they want your ID. They have no security in place to protect users like me.

Messaged them 10 Months Ago They didn't respond to my hacked account ticket and just sent an ai automated response and nothing else. Do not trust this platform if there was a 0 star option I'd pick it.

Discord used to be great, it was the voice chat app that everyone needed and didn't know it. Now it's become too big. It's outsourced it's support to AI, and there's now just a black market for old discord accounts so scammers and hackers and use it to steal other accounts or customer data. I've had my personal data stolen because they app keeps it in plain text. Support is of no use because AI just repeat the same answers.

After supplying customer support with 3 separate bank cards ive used to purchase Nitro over the years, IP, Paypal, Full name, Address, Screenshots of authenticator App thats still generating codes, screenshots of bank statements showing Nitro purchases, Proof of things ive gifted to friends, Screenshot of Backup codes I had used days before locked out, Login Token, a recording of the issue when i try login they still refuse to either remove the 2fa or simply reinstate the code generator 2fa method I had setup. Even though months ago I was hacked they swiftly removed the 2fa and sent me a email to resetup 2fa. I can't explain my disappointment. I've now quit discord after many years of actively using it daily. Account is “Cryosick”

there are discord servers exposing private information and discord support is not doing anything about it

Discord is a great communication app for gamers, educators, musicians, artists etc. Yes - it does collect your data but only to make your experience with the apps smoother. They offer great incentives and as a long time user I can only recommend Discord. It's a free app for all to use and make their own server. The Nitro sub supports both Discord.com, the servers you are a member of and makes you look professional when using it.

Yeah, they are working with scammers. If you have problem they aren't help. They let scammers to scam you

Basically a scam. Overcharges and freezes accounts for "suspicious activity" under the following message. Also if public they'd be run straight into the ground. $100 is too much for Nitro.

My account has been banned for an unjustified reason. An absolute nonesense about a internet meme that I sent from Facebook that apparently show child abuse which is absolute nonesense. There is literaly nothing in the meme that shows any kind of abuse on anybody. Again this meme is circulating in META.

I wrote to them, they don't even answer they just close the case.

I approached Discord support with a simple request:
‘Hey, I can’t access the email on my account, but here’s all the proof I own it.’

Discord replied:
‘Wow, that’s a lot of proof. Anyway, we can’t help. Make a new account.’

Really loving this energy. It’s giving strong ‘Customer Service by Magic 8 Ball’ vibes.

Would give 1 star, but honestly they didn’t earn it.

Tried to login; wrong password. Changed password; still can't login x3. Customer support is a loop to hundreds of articles; like I have time to search. Screw it. Not worth the effort.

Ho comprato un effetto per il mio avatar, nelle immagini e nelle animazioni si vedeva benissimo era fighissimo, un vortice e dal centro uscivano 3 teschi infuocati di blu, ( si chiama Presagi oscuri Mezzanotte) pago 6 euro per questa grafica ( ricordiamoci che costa meno un abbonamento per disney plus per 1 mese ) e mi ritrovo con 1 punto nero sul banner (che credo dovesse essere il vortice?) letteralmente l'animazione era solo quella e niente altro cioe nulla 0 un piccolo punto nero con del fumo ma invisibile chiedo il reso è mi dicono che non lo fanno chiedo almeno di sostituirla con un'altra a pari prezzo e non lo fanno QUESTA A CASA MIA SI CHIAMA FRODE

Größter Drecksverein. Dreht einen hinterrücks Abos an und versucht dann täglich einmal abzubuchen. Nach dem 15. Versuch haben sie dann 5,06 EUR für einen Serverboost abgebucht. Bei Rückbuchung der unberechtigten Abbuchung hat dieser Betrügerverein meinen Account verwarnt. Als ich dem Support sagte, ich wolle mein Geld wieder, sagten die, ich habe nicht rechtzeitig gekündigt. Sorry, wenn ich einen Boost kaufe und ihr mir ein Abo andreht, wie soll ich denn dann wissen, dass es eine Kündigungsfrist gibt. Noch witzloser. Die Boosts, für die man bezahlt hat, verschwinden, nachdem man das Abo kündigt. Sorry, aber für was habe ich dann bezahlt. Geht zu Telegram und scheißt auf diesen Affenstall

Discord is much more beautiful than Skype and Facebook. Like you pathetic people jealous that you can't create something personal of your own. Stop complaining about Discord. It's not for everyone, it's only for smart and professional people.

Discord falsely banned for the allegation that I didn't even do: "VIOLATING CHILD SAFETY" as mentioned in ToS.
Recently Discord has implemented AI Moderation, which to be honest, very "HELPFUL"... in making me furious and upset. Many people in my server has been banned and resorted to using alternative accounts to continue using Discord before they get appealed in like 5-15 minutes and they successfully recovered their account again.

BUT IT IS NOT IN MY CASE.
I have waited for 8 hours straight just to receive a single sentence during my sleeptime: "YOUR ACCOUNT WON'T BE REINSTATED". Guess what? It was automated response from Clyde, and all 8 hours along just to let an automated message mailed to me, instead of human review.

As a long term Discord user, this kind of shitty moderation without human supervision and also no immediate customer support right after the complaint/request was sent would eventually mark the downfall of Discord and get replaced by better app that can be on par with Discord in the future.

Do your work, Discord.

Discord it would be really nice if regular users could just have a regular image as a banner, like other social media sites let you have actual JPG PNG banners for free. There is no reason to paywall anymore.
