Avoid at all cost absolute scam, they try gaining business from small independent business and provide no service. Please report to the Ombudsman. They promised to advertise in my Local GP and I have spoken to them who have advised they have no agreement with them. They have contacted the GP but are not using them! I keep requesting a refund or cancellation but they will not.
The contract is void as I bought the Ads based on them having an active contract with the local surgery but they do not. I was told that my company was also referred by my local GP this too was false.
Cannot speak to an actual person only emails, and they never answer my concerns.
I’ve raised a fraud case with my Credit Card company and cancelled my direct debit, I’m currently in the process of reporting to the Ombudsman as they will not refund me or provide proof of the contract they say they have with the NHS or my local surgery.

An excellent and effective service, Andy was knowledgeable, helpful and knew exactly what I needed to take my business to the next level. I can’t recommend Direct Digital enough.

I was sceptical about any form of advertising however when I was contact by Direct Digital i agreed and booked an appointment for a sales rep to come and visit us (I found this put my mind as ease as it was face to face and not cold calling over the phone) advise me regarding local advertising for our business, I Found the sales representative to be very informative and gave me multiple options to choose from that enabled me to get one that suited my business best. Since joining we have seen an increase in local business so it works for us, I have only given 4 stars because I wish this company had got in touch sooner. Highly recommend this business.

We have been using DD for around 4 months and we have seen a hugely positive impact. We have had many enquiries from the digital commercial and the advert looks First class!!

We signed a two year contract in March 2021, in June of 2021 we contacted digital direct to ask where our ad was as they have taken out payments and our ad was not live. In their own contract they state there is a 4 week agreement that our ad would be up and running in that time frame, we were now at 8 weeks with nothing. We have at this point paid over $1500 with no ad, when we reached out in June they did stop payment until our ad was up and running...in August...a whole 5 months after we signed this contract, and stated a reimbursement would be sent at the end of our contract..in 2 years. A couple months later in July of 2021 we sent an email stating that we still don't have an ad up and we would like to terminate our contract, this is important because our contract should have ended at the latest August of 2023. The ad was finally in process and when we were sent back our proof we were almost confused, this had looked to be done by a child who was playing around with powerpoint for the first time. There were many simple spelling errors and in general it was very unprofessionally done. We went back and forth many times with errors, we sent 4 e-mails regarding the exact same word that we needed fixed that they could not get right. In January of 2024 we contacted them again and stated our contract should have ended we want out! Now they tell us that it is a rolling contract and we have to pay until August of 2025??!! (this is also from when the ad was live, not our contract) No where on our contract does it say 2 extra years, it only says one year with a minimum of 6 months notice of cancellation...remember we stated in July 2021 we wanted out of the contract. So we stopped payment through our bank starting in February 2024, 6 months extra from the end of our contract. Now we are being threatened with a lawsuit stating we owe over $3000. Also I have gone to one of the locations which is at a Life Labs blood clinic every 3 months as I get routine blood work done and have yet to see our ad playing, in fact the last time I was there the TV wasn't even turned on that plays the ads. Makes me wonder if the ad was ever live as we have no proof that it is playing just the word of this dishonest company. The last 3 years dealing with these scammers have been a nightmare...and we're still dealing with it...STAY AWAY. Direct Digital sold us and other small businesses in our community their services on the premise of a flat out lie.

After selling us their services, they took 2 full months to produce ads that look like they were put together in a few minutes only after we enquired about the delay.

After losing hundreds of euro to them, we were wiling to chalk it down as a loss and move on, but unfortunately they don't seem willing to do that.

Please do your research on these people before signing anything. We're now in the situation where we have to go to court to prevent them from bothering us again.

On December 15, 2023 - We were informed of a "Technical Fault" that prevented Direct Digital from airing our advert at the ROK Hotel Kingston.

On February 1, 2014 - Direct Digital started to demand additional payment despite our concerns about our advert not being aired.

On February 6, 2024 - We gave our 1-Star Review on Trustpilot since we have received little to no update from the Direct Digital team regarding our advert.

On February 12, 2024 - Direct Digital responded on Trustpilot saying "Hello Great House Caterers, I am sorry to read your review. I have investigated your account and can see that the site has the equipment and it has been installed and has been online for a short period of time. This being said this is now registering as offline and we are finding it extremely difficult to make contact with the site. Please be assured we are doing everything we can to contact the site and get the screen back up and running."

On March 20, 2024 - We were told that "...due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to proceed with playing your advertisement at ROK Hotel Kingston, Tapestry Collection by Hilton (CD)" and that we would be refunded within 4 - 6 weeks.

On April 30, 2024 - We followed up on the refund and was told it will be processed soon.

To date, 12 weeks later, we have still not been refunded or provided with any additional updates.

Please scroll down and see all of the negative reviews-this is absolutely a scam. They pressure you into a contract, and in our case, provide a fraction of what they promised. The contract rolls over automatically unless you take very specific actions (or so I am told-we have yet to extract ourselves from this extortion racket).

Communication with the company proves useless as they have assigned employees who act as “gate keepers” and will never truly work with you. We are a small nonprofit who helps to feed food insecure children, but struggle to survive because of Direct Digital extortion fees. PLEASE, PLEASE BE FOREWARNED AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am certain that their positive reviews are fake, possibly AI generated.

They make you sign the contact and they don’t care about the rest . I have been signed a contract with them 1 year ago . Still my advertising not up and running . The video they made was all wrong and when I tried contacting them , they ignored completely. And now they are charging me £5000 so I can come out of the contact . And I’m paying for nothing . No outcome from advertising not even a single call . All the information on my advertising is wrong .

The whole process was quick and easy. The final product is better than I could have imagined.

The staff was prompt in email responses, but the quality of the advertisement was poor. The initial video that was sent was very poorly designed. It was way too busy in design and wording on the video. I was very disappointed in the quality and ended up making my own video for our business.

What a joke this company is. Over 5 months ago I was sold the dream and still have nothing to show for it.

I have paid out over £1000 and have now cancelled the direct debit. The company do not care about their customers.

No communication at all, after chasing and chasing when I finally did receive an advert months later to review it was shocking. My business name was spelt wrong, spelling mistakes all over, inappropriate photos and incorrect details. It was something that has clearly been made in less than 5 minutes.

I have emailed numerous times complaining about the quality of the ‘advert’ with absolutely no reply, the only time I get any sort of reply is when they are chasing more money.

I am a one man small business and they have made my life hell. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My journey with Direct Digital has been fraught with challenges and disappointments. I embarked on this partnership with the hope of boosting my business’s visibility through their advertising services. However, the reality has been starkly different from what was promised.

Contractual Pitfalls: The contract I was bound to turned out to be highly restrictive and, frankly, toxic. With no option for a refund and a mandatory two-year commitment, it felt like a trap. The fine print was a masterclass in obfuscation, and I was left with no recourse when services were not rendered as agreed.

Service Failures: The most glaring issue has been the complete absence of the advertised services. Medical centre GP site’s TV, which was supposed to showcase our business, remained dark. Repeated attempts to rectify the situation through calls and emails were met with a wall of silence. The only responses were generic emails that led nowhere, leaving us without the support we desperately needed.

Business Impact: The consequences have been severe. We’ve faced significant financial losses and, most heartbreakingly, had to let go of valued staff members. It’s a situation no business owner should ever have to face, especially not due to the failings of a supposed partner.

Final Thoughts: In hindsight, the warnings were there—Trustpilot reviews echoed similar experiences. I wish I had heeded them. To anyone considering Direct Digital, I implore you to look beyond the sales pitch and consider the experiences of those who have walked this path before you. It’s a decision I wish I had made differently.
