AVOID at all costs - sales rep can sell ice to an Eskimo! The adverts he showed me were incredible, he reassured me that if it wasn't working out for me, I could cancel the contract and convinced me that all adverts would be produced by the business, without me really needing to do anything. He didn't allow me to read through the contract, and as I had just been sold a dream, I naively signed what I thought was a fair contract. I had problems from the beginning, with only 1 of 3 screens available that I was told I would have, and there was a delay in that. The direct debit was much higher than I was initially told it would be too! I tried to cancel my contract, as I was promised but I was told this wasn't true. In 14 months, I have received 2 poorly made adverts - I only agreed to them, as the quality wasn't becoming any better & I was conscious of paying for nothing at all to be advertised on the screen! I spent weeks going back & forth regarding the second advert, as they'd taken old images from social media, which I'd already told them from the previous advert that they were outdated & unsuitable. Even after clearly bullet pointing the changes I wanted making & sending further images to use, they didn't remove the inappropriate ones or add the ones provided! They are VERY hard work! PLEASE do not waste your time or hard earned money with this company. I have since found social media support groups for 'Direct Digital Scammers' and legal action is being taken by many people, as advised by Citizens Advice.

0 stars if I could. False advertising, showed the Business an amazing video, came to the salon to take photos and videos of us all. When we were shown the video there were no photos of us, just badly cropped screenshots off our social medial accounts. It looked like a year 4 child has made it. They will not accept they’re in the wrong. They are not helpful. Avoid at all costs, terrible service. AVOID

Where do I begin? Terrible video provided after someone coming to the work place to take videos/photos which weren't used. Where are the photos that were taken as they haven't been provided. What a way to breach the contract. Payments taken before approval of the terrible video given. How on earth this place still functions is beyond me, and how they do business with genuine people and rip them off is disgusting. To anyone reading this, please do not use this company!

Terrible company to deal with, contract is extremely restrictive and all in favor of the company - their obligation to the customer is very loose and the contract obligates customers to pay in advance of service provided no matter how many delays or issues there are with the service. Also note 18 months notice of cancellation must be given to cancel the service and you must pay for the service for those 18 months

If I could give this company 0 stars I would! DO NOT get sucked into giving them your money! They falsely give you a fab video of what you will be receiving and when they send it the video is something my daughter could do and she’s 10! Small claims court for me to get my money back!

This company is such a scam! Do not let them sell you anything. They will promise you adverts and that it will be played every 15 minutes on a large screen in a waiting room. In reality you get a screen the size of an iPad and it’s displayed in an entrance hall where nobody sees it and that’s if the screen is working!
They never show you the terms and conditions and then when you want to cancel they threaten and are extremely rude!

Do not sign any contract with Direct Digital! They promising large screens and design of high quality advertising videos with every 10’ display frequency only to trap you in contract! If you are lucky they will display the advert once an hour on a tiny screen and the advert won’t even be of a basic quality! Then they will threaten you with court letters and you’ll find yourself in court! Avoid at any cost!

Been using direct distal for around 8 months now, all is great . Great communication and great advertising.

Absolutely shocking business. Please do not engage with this shower. They tie you up in a water tight contract and provide you with hilariously sub par material, the quality of which a teenager would be ashamed.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! Look out for Steve.M one of the reps selling this Con too.
Took me over 2 months to receive my first draft Ad which was supposed to take 7 days - and it looked like it had been done by my 5 year old.
This company is totally unprofessional and not skilled enough to carry out this work!! There communication is awful and they can’t follow basic instructions.
PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!! TOTAL CON ARTISTS!!

Stole my money never delivered advert then when they did because I wanted money back
The advert was thrown together in 5 min and was terrible,then decided to take money from my bank yet again before ad was approved and live even as advert was terrible was given 7 days to change ad then next day took money more lies!!!!!
This company is an utter disgrace and will now need to go to court to get my £1000 back that they have taken without even a live ad!!!

I regret to say that my experience with Direct Digital has been extremely disappointing. Despite their promises, I have seen no results from their services. There has been a complete lack of transparency from the start, and I was lured into the contract with promises that were never kept. They assured me of the placement of a digital concierge and guaranteed no competitor ads on the digital kiosk. None of these promises were fulfilled. In fact, I have yet to see my ad run on the kiosk at all.

My contract with Direct Digital has been a complete waste of time and money. I feel scammed and exploited as a small business owner. The funds I am forced to pay them could be put to much better use. Once you sign up, you're stuck paying them until your contract ends, regardless of their lack of performance. I strongly advise other businesses to stay away from this company.

Unfortunately like some of the reviews I'm writing this due to underhand tactics by the company.
Due to not getting any custom from the advert (not their fault I know) I cancelled the DD.

It is now I realise that an extortionate admin fee has been added which I was not told about and had to check the contract for time before I saw the tiny print underneath the information about payments. Not in the part where it actually states what you are paying.
Why they need to do this and not be open and honest about charges I don't know.
I feel like I have been duped.

It's as if it's psychological your eyes automatically go to the bigger print and higher numbers. Then you have signed it and no way of getting out of it.

Almost a quarter of the fee on an admin charge.

They also didn't state the fee is... Plus VAT so added up I paid a lot more than what was sold to me.

I emailed and asked for the complaints policy and got told it's in the contract. I am awaiting my reply to another request for their complaint procedure
You live and you learn about companies such as this.

They will not get my business again.

Edit to the reply. Companies are also legally obliged not to miss sell products to customers but that doesn't seem to bother direct digital.

Update 1/8/24 There is a FB group with 234 members. These reviews are not isolated incidents. I have managed to get my admin fee struck off, but only after 17 of us took it directly to the top. I am currently speaking with trading standards and citizens' advice about the scam practices and lies people are told. I've realised I was foolish and signed a contract that was handed to me on a tablet and scrolled past t&c and he ticked read and scrolled to the next section

Great service from start to finish. Definitely recommend to those wanting to elevate their business. Customer service was 2nd to none

Worst customer service along with lady called Puja was highly unprofessional telling she is a manager and no one above her.i was so worried that I decided to put my review secretly so tat they don't recognize me and end up stealing my money if they come to know ow that I put bad review. Never will recommend this company full if frauds
