When we arrived they were very friendly. We had booked our car in advance, so everything would be fast upon arrival. We wanted to pay our deposit and our card got declined. We went to an ATM and there our card worked. They did nothing to help us, the only thing we could do is to rent another car for €400 MORE. Afterwards they said our signed documents would be send to our email, but still didn’t received anything, also not after several times contacting them. Also when arriving at our car, they didn’t clean it at all. There were still sunglasses in the car from the previous owners. We don’t recommend using this company, because your vacation will start not so happy.

Esperienza pessima, lo staff anche poco cordiali. Prenotata e pagata la macchina on-line tramite portale, completa di assicurazione. Li in sede una volta arrivati ci dicono che non è valida( però te la fanno pagare prima sul sito). Ci hanno addebitato in più alla cifra pagata ben 270 euro. Eravamo sconvolte e i 149 euro già pagati non erano rimborsabili. Disperate e prive di scelta abbiamo pagato la somma richiesta per la loro personale assicurazione valida (quella on line dicevano di no). Ma non è finita qui, ci hanno preso in giro dicendo che per scusarsi ci davano una macchina molto più grande della nostra prenotata (impossibile da parcheggiare) perchè in realtà avevano finito le 500 (prenotata da noi sul portale). Nonostante è stata riconsegnata con il Pieno ci hanno nuovamente fregato addebitando altri 45 euro. Esperienza pessima presso l'Aereoporto di Catania, e lo dico da siciliana...rivolgetevi ad altra compagnia, io alla prossima farò lo stesso!

Société qui n'applique pas ses conditions générales, de mauvaise foi vous obligeant à payer des éléments additionnels pour récupérer le véhicule, pratiquement le double de la location.

Prenotato tramite piattaforma DiscoverCars, pagando assicurazione completa per esclusione rivalse franchigia.
Arrivati al banco, non riconoscono la validità di tale assicurazione ("sareste del tutto scoperti"); fatto notare quanto riportato sul contratto con DiscoverCars, ma pur di vendere il loro prodotto non sentono ragioni.
Inoltre, pagamento possibile solo dalla carta che ha pagato la caparra: no contanti, no bancomat o Visa debit. Assurdo.
La carta aveva un massimale di 1000€, il che avrebbe impedito il noleggio; comprando il loro pacchetto, la franchigia magicamente sarebbe sparita...
Sconsiglio vivamente.
Pro: macchina nuova e pulita.

I wish we had read the reviews before booking our rental car with this company. It is a complete SCAM! It is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. There are hidden costs at every turn. We booked a large family SUV and when we arrived we were told that because we hadn’t arrived to collect the car within 1 hour of our arrival time (our flight was slightly delayed) that they didn’t have any cars like this available. All they could give us was a small car at an additional cost of €140!!! She then tried to push their insurance onto us with fear tactics. We crammed our family of 5 and all our luggage into the small car and headed off on a 3 1/2 hour journey. Upon our return, we already knew that we were in for another scam based on our collection experience and we were right! He painstakingly inspected the car with prejudice and tried to tell us that we had returned the car with the smallest scratch you have ever seen in your life on the windshield. Apparently an additional €69 fee!!!! Again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Terrible experience , tried to imply the charge for the hail damage of the roof in August in Rome !!!!!

SCAM! Do not use Differental! They did not accept my norwegian drivers license altough it is accepted in EU. I ended up paying more than twice as much as predicted. In addition they have charged my creditcard afterwards for 61 EURO without any explanation.

This company hides away their non-acceptance of non-embossed credit cards, which is so out of date and mal-practice. They also ask for an Int Drivers licence - again back in time in spite of having a UK licence and another alternative foreign license.
They have a list of catches to avoid handing over a pre-paid car!

Sconsiglio vivamente a chiunque non voglia perdere soldi truffaldinamente.
In accordo con la compagnia Do You Italy, dove ho pagato con carta di credito la vettura prenotata, Differental trova qualsiasi escamotage per obbligarti ad effettuare nuovi salatissimi pagamenti, senza i quali si rimane a piedi, nonostante una prenotazione profumatamente pagata online. Per due volte consecutive, il 1° Settembre e il 2 Settembre 2025, nonostante precedente prenotazione effettuata online con carta di credito tramite la compagnia (spagnola) Do You Italy, arrivato allo sportello di Differental sito a Fiumicino Aeroporto, sono rimasto senza auto e quindi appiedato. Nonostante le lamentele sia allo sportello che telefonicamente verso la compagnia Do You Italy, tramite scuse e vie traverse, e giocando con espedienti truffaldini, non sono stato né rimborsato, né accontentato con alcuna vettura.
Entrambe le compagnie sono totalmente da tenere alla larga. Che si faccia girare la voce.

Scam. They have awful support at desk, the make up reasons to charge 200% MORE THAN THE ACTUAL COST of rental when picking out the car, or else you will loose the reservation and the pre-payment. They also made a card fraud and TOOK MONEY (approx 160 euro) from my bank account two months after rental period, and no information why or response when I tried to have them answer what the hell they were doing. THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS COMPANY

The service at the spot was amazing, the girl was super kind and the car was good.

Now ive been trying to get my deposit back for almost 2 months. They said it would take up to 30 business days, no help whatsoever.

A pesar de muchas opiniones negativas, mi experiencia ha sido totalmente positiva. Entiendo que deberían avisar de qué supone pagar con tarjeta de débito, pero es lo que sucede en las pocas compañías que lo permiten.
En mi caso, el precio ha sido mucho mejor que en el resto de agencias, el segundo conductor gratuito, el coche muy nuevo (jeep renegade). La persona que nos atendió fue muy atenta y clara. Nos ofreció el seguro premium pero como yo tengo otro no lo cogimos, y no insistió ( cosa que nos suele pasar).
Tuvimos suerte y el shuttle salió enseguida,tanto a la ida como a la vuelta.
Ayer, 5 días después de devolver el coche, la fianza de 700 euros ( mucho menor que en otras compañías) estaba en mi cuenta bancaria.
Mi única queja es que les escribí algún email tanto antes como durante el alquiler y no contestaron. Deberían mejorar la comunicación.

Overcharged at the check-in counter. Lady said my US driver's license is not international so I have to pay for an extra insurance to be able to drive it. Sounded like a BS, paid extra $250 to as expected final rental amount of $650.
Overcharged during drop-off: when I made reservation I set approx time like from 10:00 to 10:00, ended up picking it up at 14:30 and dropping it off at 11:30. They charged me late delivery fee, worst experience ever, never rent from them again, avoid at all cost.

Ci hanno addebitato 1368euro senza il nostro consenso e senza neanche avvisarci, per presunti danni alla carrozzeria (una piccola scheggiatura sul vetro data dalla forte grandine venuta nei gg prima, e un pò di sporco sulla portiera).
State alla larga da questa gentaccia!!!!

Personalmente non capisco tutte le recenti valutazioni negative. Ho letto che le lamentele sono più per addebiti non chiari. Se non avete i requisiti o non leggete prima le condizioni di noleggio trovo ingiusto incolpare la compagnia.
Io mi sono trovato benissimo. Macchina praticamente nuova e personale fantastico.

Avoid using Differental at all costs!! They are a scam outfit! At collection they tried to upsell me additional insurance which I refused as I had taken out my own cover. They persisted to try to negotiate a deal on their own insurance cover despite me making it clear that I already had cover.

After I returned the car they immediately charged my credit card (€671) for supposed damage to the wheels and bodywork. I have since provided them with photographs I had taken at collection to demonstrate that the damaged they had claimed for was already there. They have not responded to any of my calls, messages and emails. Atrocious customer service. Be aware, they will take you money and not reply.
Please avoid…..!

From the minute we were greeted by the pickup driver our experience was second to none. They helped us with our luggage from the airport to the rental office with a big smile. The process of renting was extremely easy, great quality vehicles which were modern, clean and well maintained. Even adding extra drivers on was free which was a bonus. Great experience and will be using again in the future for my next rental.

They will pressure you into paying extra insurance. They will charge your card and not communicate with you. I have been trying to get them to refund and overcharge but they will not reply to calls, emails or messages. STAY CLEAR OF THESE ROBBERS!!!!

Très mauvaise expérience cette semaine avec cette agence à Olbia
Pour faire simple, leur but est de vous vendre des assurances . Si vois avez réservé via un brocker, ils vont tout organiser pour au final récupérer cet argent "perdu" via la réservation par un Tiers.
290 la location , 380€ l assurance.
au final j ai dit non et j ai loue un scooter!.
