Founded in 1919 and still a 4th generation family run business, we provide a luxury range of natural rattan furniture, indoor conservatory furniture and outdoor garden furniture. Our cane furniture is made using the finest Grade A rattan, sourced from Indonesia and then assembled by us in the UK. You can be sure to find a mix of modern conservatory furniture as well as more traditional wicker furniture. From wicker chairs, rattan mirrors, sideboards and console tables, we supply furniture designed to be used in any room of the house. We also have our own cushion department, so all of our cushions are hand-sewn here in the UK, providing the utmost comfort and quality. Check out and request samples of of our fabrics. Our outdoor furniture sets range from classic rattan lounge sets to luxury modern outdoor sofas and garden dining sets. We provide Aluminium garden sets with upholstered cushions and the range varies from garden dining sets, garden lounge sets, rattan corner sofas, and sun loungers, perfect for patios, small gardens, big gardens, and even poolside!

Great furniture - wowful delivery

We ordered furniture for the conservatory in our new house with a forward delivery date. The furniture is excellent but the delivery company failed to contact us until 0604 on the morning of the delivery with a delivery (was promised for the night before) slot of 0755 - 0955 that morning. As we hadn't moved in at that point, this meant we had to rush but were at the property at 0800.

Unfortunately the promised call 1 hour delivery was not made and we had a call from the driver having arrived 30 minutes before the delivery slot, i.e. 0725, asking where we were. When we said we would be there in 30 minutes the driver was totally unwilling to stay until the delivery slot and all he could do was dump the furniture outside. We were left with the packaging to dispose off!

We would have given 5 stars if the delivery was done professionally as the furniture is excellent.

Excellent set of chairs

Excellent set of chairs, footstool and coffee table. Very good quality. Comfortable. I was wary about ordering without seeing them, but really happy. Delivery as arranged.
We had to wait a while to get the material we wanted, but were happy to do so.
Can’t fault them.
However the amount of packaging took two trips to the tip to dispose of!

A happy result

Viewing and choosing online is often a lottery, but having seen your product on Amazon, I decided to look at your company website in hopes that there would be a wider range. I think there was, but I have been comparing sites for months, as I do for major purchases. I chose a range I thought looked substantial, but smaller to fit a small house and was not disappointed to find an attractive suite, Madrid in Mulberry. I could have hoped the rattan would have been a slightly darker shade, but I have no valid cause for complaint, and the suite has received admiration from friends. It looks as if it will wear well and is well made. The cushions are well put together and are also well made.

Excellent

I have had 2 Oslo conservatory chairs for 4 years and the cushion covers badly need cleaning. Chairs and cushion pads are in perfect condition, despite constant use, so I was going to make covers. However, I found Desser do replacement covers. I ordered 2 sets - and they were delivered in 3 days. The fabric is lovely and the clever use of internal zips made changing the back covers easy. I used the old trick of plastic film to change the seat cover. Beautiful. I had a query which David answered on the phone in a friendly, helpful manner. Overall, I am so pleased and highly recommend Desser &Co.

We visited the factory showroom outside…

We visited the factory showroom outside Manchester before ordering. The team made us very welcome and their advice and support was fantastic. We ordered a large sofa and chair for our conservatory and some modern lounge seats for children’s bedrooms. Great choice of modern matrices available. A few hiccups on delivery but it only took about a week. Really good quality furniture. I would highly recommend buying direct and speaking with the team.
