We finally decided to go with Complete Shutters based on product knowledge, price and quality and we are extremely delighted that it was the right decision!
Dealing with Dan has been a pleasant experience and great communication all round.
He guided us in the right type of shutters to choose and most importantly offering a great product at a lower price than his competitors but without compromising on quality.
We had our shutters installed today and we are delighted with the final look and fitting. The fitters especially Dave were extremely polite and did a brilliant job.
I would highly recommend Complete Shutters as they offering high quality shutters at unbeatable prices!

I used complete shutters based on a recommendation from a friend and very happy I did. Dan was excellent from the start, recommending the right type of shutters and very competitive - offering a superior product at a lower price than others. I am delighted with my wooden shutters and which look stunning and fitted excellent on my bay windows. Unfortunately their was some delay due to Covid lockdown (unavoidable) but Dan always kept me up to date with progress and was always available for my queries. I cannot thank enough Dan and the 2 fitters (Dom & Adam) who all did a brilliant job. I highly recommend Complete Shutters, stunning shutters at the best prices!

We moved just before lockdown, ordered and were excited about remote blinds etc. Pandemic hit and we assured the business was solid and once the lockdown was lifted we were installed. Polite, professional, cleaned up after themselves (no leaving boxes or even dust on the floor). Good job all round, thank you

Never keep there appointments. Twice I cancelled my daughters swimming as they mentioned someone will be coming to fix my shutters. No one turned up for appointments. This happened nearly 3 times.
Finally they come to fix my shutters and end up fixing blinds which looking totally shabby and have long strings hanging.
In December 2019 I rated this company poorly. The company begged me endlessly over several messages to remove the review. Giving several excuses right from mental health to losing family members. They promised me in January 2020 they will fix my shutters as they are waiting for the goods to arrive. Guess what... Total Lie!
I have now got a different company to do my shutters!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE. Our experience of complete shutters is very similar to the other 1 star reviews, and it makes me doubtful that all of the 5 star reviews are genuine. We ordered the shutters back in March 2019, paid a deposit and organised a fitting date for May. When we called to confirm the fitting date in May we were told that they had no record of this despite the fact we had it in an email from them. Then came weeks of no communication and constant chasing of when the shutters which were meant to take 4 weeks to arrive would be fitted. Their customer service during this period was awful - no explanation of the delay or apologies at all, just lots of excuses about systems being down, person X not there, someone in diabetic coma, someones Grandma died.... We eventually had the shutters fitted in July - they look ok but on inspection there are two cracks in the frame, one VERY big, which they had just filled with white filler. We immediately told them of the damage, they even came round and agreed to replace back in July. Over the next 4 months we had multiple fitter appointments organised through chasing them, all of which have been missed with no warning or even follow up call the next day to explain the no show. I realise things come up but this company is dreadful and should be avoided. We bought a product expecting a warranty which is meaningless when the company avoids trying to fix things.
UPDATE- they spent lots of time and effort to get my wife’s review removed as it was paid for by me. If this effort went into their product and service they would probably do very well. I expect at least 3 positive reviews to go up straight away after this.

** Update dated 30th March 2020- They have recently started paying me back 1st instalment of our claim.

Due to the curtains being too short and numerous chance for the company to rectify the problem, I've given up and instead lodged with the County Court for compensation middle of November 2019. A warrant has been served middle of January 2020 and they still haven't paid anything back despite an agreement to pay me back in instalments. If you don't want to go through this problem, PLEASE AVOID! Trustpilot, I have all the documentation proof to prove that this is real.

Daniel and his team of fitters have really done such an amazing job in installing plantation shutters in my house in Buckhurst Way. The two man team were very professional and hard working: the shutters have absolutely transformed the three rooms in which they were fitted: they operate easily, look brilliant and are also helping with keeping the place warm.
I have no hesitation at all in recommending Complete Shutters.

Great service, Danny and Sanj fitted shutters to the front of our house in Buckhurst Hill.

I asked for the shutters to be supplied painted in Ral7016 colour, and they matched it perfectly to our aluminium windows.

Recently had a full set of shutters installed.

From the beginning the team was helpful and even took the time out to come around to the property with samples so we had a better idea of how the shutters would look in the windows.

The shutters were installed on time and the fitters did a great job, ensuring everything was tidy before they left. The shutters look great and we are very happy with the quality and installation.

I’ve never been compelled to review a company no matter how bad their service, but Complete Shutters have managed to force me to write this, both as a means to vent my frustrations and also to warn anyone considering using them for their blinds/shutters.

I was booked an installation date on 7th December around midday. This came and went and various excuses were made for no one attending. I was promised a call the following Monday.

Monday came with no phone call but after some chasing, we managed to get rebooked for Wednesday 11th. This was rescheduled to the following day.

Thursday came with no one attending again (this is a running theme) and no call to inform me of any issues. Office number was conveniently diverted to voicemail so no way to speak to someone about this, just left in limbo.

We requested a refund as we were fed up and wasted 2 days of waiting around for nothing. We then get an email saying how their fitters have been letting them down and for us to call them.

Hesitantly, we agreed to give them one more chance and despite assurances, today they failed to deliver. This time their excuse was that they were still waiting for my delivery!! So why did they book my fittings in the previous two times??

I understand that issues happen from time to time, but this company’s lack of communication and obvious call-dodging without as much as a courtesy call after wasting THREE of my days off is completely unacceptable. They do not care about your time and are happy to leave you in the dark wondering if anyone will show up, all whilst turning their phones to answer machine and hiding from their customers.

I have requested a full refund of my deposit and I will be taking this up with trading standards as no one should have to go through this headache.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Edit: it’s funny how a lot of the responses from your “company” all state that you have no records of the jobs. I have a quotation, invoice and receipt from you so stop lying. Requested refund from you which you said you would do, but many weeks later and no response to my many emails and no refund. Calls are ignored/blacklisted and emails go without replies. So no, I will not waste any more time trying to get anything out of you directly as I’m sick of your lies. Now give me back my money.

Edit: they are still claiming to not know who I am and claim they never took any money. More lies and I expect nothing less from them. Got our deposit back eventually from our credit card company as Complete Shutters failed to return it themselves and completely ignored all correspondence.

We recently had the pleasure of working with these guys and I literally couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
We had quotes from a number of local companies but we either found them over priced, or the customer service to be very poor.
Dan was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We have dealt with a number of trades people recently so feel like we are (very!) well qualified to say that this company really does stand out in terms of service provided and workmanship. They stuck to their initial timeframe (completing early in fact!) and kept in contact while the blinds were being made.
We were only going to have 2 blinds fitted but ended up having the whole house done (including a tricky bay window) because we were so happy with Dan and his team.

I would like to point out that the negative reviews posted on here are obviously written by the same person. I work in linguistics and it’s clear from studying the previous reviews that the language used is almost identical through out.

It’s a shame as good quality local businesses like this one should be supported and treasured. Jealousy from competitors is very ugly thing and something that can easily be identified and remedied.

Complete shutters were really great. Quick to respond to my initial enquiry and good service in explaining how everything works and in measuring up. Delivery time estimate was accurate, my shutters were fitted eight weeks to the day from ordering. No fuss with fitting, great, neat and professional job. Thankyou very much - they look beautiful and we love them!

Amazing workmanship. Very professional. Clean and friendly. After using a well known company before these guys beat them on time, price and finish. Cannot recommend them enough if you want great shutters.
