Spoke to CETA today to cancel my current home insurance policy and also to investigate a duplicate policy on my account for the last two years. Becca was very patient and helpful- listening to me and confirming she will do her best to get this resolved ASAP and call me back!

Landlords Insurance
I received a call from the company after doing a quote on the comparison site. The advisor went through my details and obtained a very good price which was better than my renewal quote for a like for like policy. The advisor was very professional and helpful and made the whole experience a lot more pleasant. I took out the policy.

They make it fairly easy to set up a policy for an empty property, but when it's time to cancel it and get a pro-rata refund because the property has sold, that's a whole different story. Don't take any notice of the 48hr confirmation and processing. It took 20 minutes for someone to respond to my request for an online chat. Then told the refund was only a tiny fraction of amount due but I'd have to wait upto 2 days for breakdown. Utter robbery. Avoid
