I've used this service for several years and I've never had a bad experience.

The process was very quick. It's hard to trust sites like this when searching for a reputable business these days. CertaPet is the real deal. The licensed therapist that I was connected with was friendly and easy to talk to. They went over the process thoroughly and answered my questions. I received my letter quickly.

Called and Serena the agent very good in her job assisted. She even found me a therapist on the same day . Needless to say got approved for my PSD trained dog the same day. Paid $199 for Housing and Travel Letter.
Very lengthy and detailed form to fill out , reviewed by my Dr. ,she called n explained everything, takes about 30mins. Than all done. Thank you CertaPet, now I am able to travel to most places. Tks again.

My experience with CertaPet exceeded my expectations. The website is very informative and easy to navigate. The therapist that I spoke to was professional, respectful, and genuinely caring as to why I required their services. I am thankful I chose to use CertaPet and would recommend them to anyone that is in need of an ESA letter.

Great customer service. I love my therapist, she is super nice and follows up throughout the year. She was there when I needed her most, she and my PSD saved my life on 10/2021.

This was a terrible experience. I ordered a PSD consultation letter. My assigned therapist contacted me to ask if I had meant to order an ESA letter by mistake, I told her no I was interested in a PSD. She ended up not knowing anything about service dogs or laws for them in my state. She said she could only write a letter for a psychiatric dog to be task trained for travel only, and all psychiatric service dogs for anything else had to be gotten from a service program and were for "veterans with PTSD, and people who are on social security disability". None of this is true.

The website is plastered with information about psychiatric service dogs, what various things they can be used for, and how they offer consultations to get one. Doesn't say anything about "travel only" service dogs, because there is no such thing, a pet dog doesn't magically become a service dog when its on an airplane and then go back to being a pet when its off one. Writing letters for that is unethical and illegal.

So I reached out to their support about this interaction with the therapist with lots of detail, screenshots, ect. They responded and only asked what I wanted a PSD for nothing else, I told them. Couple more days went by and they responded with another one sentence email that they only provide consultations for PSDs to be used for travel. Which is not what the website, the screening process, and the place where you purchase the consultation say. I really don't even think they read the emails.

It's NOT a PSD if its only a PSD when travelling. I cannot recommend them if you want a legitimate PSD consultation.

Fast service called the next day. Unfortunately was unable to help but gave a refund for the service. A really nice counselor called and apologized profusely. I would recommend it to anyone. And will use for SD to do flights and travel. Great people

WOW did they work fast! The therapist I was assigned was so thoughtful with my needs and I got the papers within days. I highly recommend and the prices are so accommodative. I'll recommend to everyone.

Amazing experience! The intake process was easy and fast and the conversation with my therapist was a day later and took maybe 4 mins total, but was an informative quality call. She made sure to explain that if I have any trouble with my housing letter to let her know. Great service.

Montgomery, was very kind, caring for me, who was not good at English, giving me advice, and e-mailing me in detail and kindly about parts I did not understand well. I am very grateful to her.

Prairie Conlon uses her certification to justify unethical practices. I do not recommend her as a clinician. She is blatantly condescending and will go to any means to get more money for her services, especially through CertaPet. I had a difficult and in short, traumatizing exchange with her in the process of getting my cat approved as an ESA. I can’t imagine she can have a professional demeanor during an in-person therapy setting if she can’t even behave appropriately over the phone or through email. If you are looking for an ESA, go literally anywhere else, talk to your PCP or fork up the money somehow for a real psychotherapist. Even if nothing came out of it and you request a full refund, the therapist will still try to keep $35. Don’t fall for technical language or intimidation tactics. There is good and ethical help out there, just not from Prairie Conlon or from CertaPet.

It took awhile but they came through. I was worried after paying and trying to call to hear they're phone number was disconnected but I sent them a message and they got back to me in good timing. My therapist called me tonight, the day after they sent me a message and approved me for a letter, which I also received tonight.

I would be very careful about this service. After they charged you and you take the test, they said a "therapist" will call you to finalize the application. You pick a date based on what is available. I had a confirmation for 3.15 pm and I waited, and waited and waited the "therapist" to call me to talk to me about my application. It was then 4 pm when I decided to call and they sent you immediately to a voice mail. No human interaction. Then I start a chart in their website and I have to admit, that was fast. When I asked that person (without a name) why I was not called as per "meeting confirmation", they said it may take an hour for them to call. What???. I told them no one explained to me I have to wait for an hour. Anyway, the hour passed and I never got a call from the "Therapist" Traci Seery. Very shady service. A day has passed and I hadn't received no even an apology for such a bad service. I would stay away from making business with this company.

Well I've been certified with you all for the last couple of years and have had really great experience it's been really quick and outstanding got my letter right away but I've had to come up for a renewal and I've paid my fee answered my questions and I haven't heard back from anyone so I don't understand what's going on

It was quick and easy enough to complete the paperwork and set up an appointment. Received the housing letter immediately on the website. Good experience and next step is to see if my association will accept this ESA letter
