Stayed in the hotel. Called customer service as the speaker in the ceiling was making noise throughout the night.
They said sorry we will give you some ear plugs. They then said it’s over an hour wait to get some ear plugs!! What a joke!
Then woke up the next morning and saw they took £6.95 for the ear plugs and £4 to bring it to my room!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed this time. Waterfront apartments. Fabulous room. However pathetic complimentary adds. Two people 4 days . Only 2 teabags! No sugar or anything else. No soaps...etc. very disappointed. I am sure there were products before. The price in the shops were so massively exaggerated. CP get a grip...more tea and coffee...

So shocked at all the negative reviews on here! Do people not do any research before booking!?

Yes it is expensive, if you want cheap go to butlins or park dean. I know my accommodation here was probably 4or 5 times the size of other places I’ve stayed, sleeping the same number. The log burner in the cabins is such a nice touch and we had ours burning every night. The bathrooms are clean with bath and shower options and the kitchen was so much better than I expected! Loads of plates cups, cutlery, pans etc and a beautifully clean oven. The lodges are open plan which I love as the kitchen can be part of the social area. I have seen some moaning about that but every holiday accommodation I’ve ever been in is open plan and the floor plans on the centerparcs website show that so if you need a baby gate bring one!

The swimming pool is absolutely amazing. In my opinion. The rapids are so much fun and open late into the evening. They have two ginormous slides where you sit in rafts as well as some smaller flames where you don’t use the raft surprisingly my absolute favourite slide was a very short boring looking white one but oh my God, do you go fast?! We visited the pool every single day.

The activities arent cheap, but if you pick carefully what you want to do and make sure it’s worth it for you then I personally don’t have a problem with what we paid. We didn’t do a lot of huge activities as we preferred to do more smaller ones so opted for things like mini bowling pool badminton et cetera however on our last day we are considering doing high ropes course and zip wire which will hit our bank slightly but at the end of the day, we’re on holiday making memories.

I hired an electric bike and if you’re not hugely fit, I’d recommend the electric ones in longleat as it is really hilly but we could have gone longer ways round to avoid some hills if we planned our routes but with the electric we had no issues flying up the hills.

We had one meal at Hucks which was lovely and we had the nicest waitress, which always makes the experience. We opted for the on site delivery service other nights, which does have a £4 delivery fee but I don’t have a huge appetite so ordered kids meals, my other half had adult meals, making it very affordable over all.

Overall I really would recommend it for both families and adults, we don’t have kids and still had plenty to do but I think there’s even more options for kids than adults

Pricing is all wrong. Same date in January 2022 cost £379 for two adults two children for a two bed woodland lodge. January 2025 i am quoted £649. Not prepared to pay that as given inflation realistically this should have come in over £400 for the exact same lodge

Centre parcs Longleat not as good as it used to be. The only free activities is the swimming pool and walking. Swimming pool is great for small children but only a few slides for teens and adults. The lake was closed due to pollution from recent rain fall. Large part of cycle track closed for repair. For anyone wanting to do activities expect to pay minimum £30 per person. As for wildlife we saw squirrels, ducks, robins, crows and a rat but not much else. There is some new children's parks and a new pitch and put being installed. Restaurants varied and slightly more expensive than my equivalent local ones. They all automatically add 7.5% to your bill. All had a decent range of gluten free options. Staff on park all seem happy and friendly. Land train was convenient and rarely full but expect when the park is busy it's then almost impossible to get on. Site is very hilly so for disabled can be very challenging. If you want a holiday just walking ,swimming and doing nothing then this is perfect. If you want an all action holiday then bring lots and lots of money.

A man called Chris in the Sports Bar stuck the Cov vs Spurs game on the main screen despite the Man City game being on. Chris was an absolute legend and should be running the show as far as I am concerned. Best interest of the regulars a heart which is a rare thing these days. Made a real effort to provide a comfortable service with friendly banter. Would highly recommend as the nest watering hole on Elveden. Ask for Chris! Not all heroes wear capes.

Bed bugs!!!!
Watch out. Be aware of bed bugs in this park. You will be regretful of your stay if you go there. We left our village after one night of stay because of bed bugs and now we want to get a refund for that and also a compensation.

I’m so sad I’ve been coming to centre parcs for years, mostly to Elvedon but recently to Woburn which I’ve also visited before. Unfortunately it’s in sad decline. The swimming pool is still great fun but I managed to catch the centre parcs bug and been sat on the loo too much. Sadly there aren’t any shops anymore I know they only had a few before but now just overpriced joules and gift shop. The restaurants were virtually empty and after visiting I can see why, very poor food and extremely overpriced, even the staff were embarrassed. The staff are all amazing but they say it’s changed. Sadly I’m sorry to say after being a centre parcs fan for over 25 years I doubt I will ever return unless it’s sorted out!!!! 🥲

We had all our bikes stolen at Elveden centre parcs,we were told this was rare,it is not rare it happens every week the police confirmed this with us when I submitted a report,I have since our stay 2 weeks ago been keeping an eye on reported thefts and they're constantly logged and reported. The restaurants are overpriced, most likely because of the rent charged ,the food is low quality but very expensive, all the activities are expensive, the one thing included, the pool,has long queues for all the slides and rides.

Myself, my son and 2 grandsons stayed in Birch 484,we stayed last year in Birch 483, so we were familiar with the area. It is quite far out of the activity area but we coped.
The lodge was lovely and clean, very well equipped, apart from no corkscrew, so my bottle of wine came back home with me.
We ate out 3 out of the 4 nights and had a barbeque on the other evening.
The restaurants were very nice but very expensive, but being on holiday we didn't want to cook. Our favourite was Cafe Rouge, nice atmosphere in there and really nice food. We visited Hucks too, which was nice and we visited the pancake house for breakfast one morning, food OK but felt it was overrated, so wouldn't visit again.
We did many activities together, obviously swimming, the nature quest, pottery painting which we love, activity golf, bowling and the boys did climbing, we also took a boat out on the lake.
We enjoyed all of the activities and had a wonderful time.
We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly.
We spent a small fortune but loved every fun packed minute.

UPDATE: pleased to report that we have had two visits from engineers and our TV is now Smart again so we can watch Netflix etc. wi-fi is slightly better after a reboot of the router, but still has issues in places with coverage.

Staying at Centre Parcs Longleat in a “luxury executive lodge”, well that’s what they call it.

Wi-if that doesn’t work in half the lodge and a Smart TV that Centre Parcs has deliberately locked down and made dumb.

I spoke to the on-site Guest Services, who were rude and wouldn’t help. Emailed Centre Parcs head office, who will look into my complaint in 28 days.

Just back from Woburn and we had a fantastic time. It’s our 2nd trip there this year and we’re planning another before the clocks change. Our executive lodge was lovely and a great size for the 6 of us, even had a sauna that we weren’t expecting!
The park itself is beautiful and really clean. It’s not too large so ideal for our little ones although it is rather hilly so piggybacks needed by the end of the day! The staff were super friendly & helpful and the amount of activities is excellent. We went to the pool every day, the kids would have stayed there until bedtime if we’d let them!
The ParcMart isn’t as expensive as people say although we don’t drink alcohol and that was a bit pricey in there. Meals out weren’t the cheapest but where is when your on holiday in the UK? You can self cater, the kitchens are well kitted out so it’s very doable on a budget

I recently went to Woburn center parcs with my Nieces aged 6 and 15, I’m 40 year old black woman.
Unfortunately prior to the trip which I had already booked I ruptured my Achilles , so therefore was in an air boot and on crutches . This meant I had to alter bookings and hire a mobility scooter.
This was done with ease over the phone.
Once I arrived, all the staff I came into contact with were very accommodating to aid me with my limited mobility.
Disabled access was excellent everywhere ,restaurants , pathways, escape room, it was inclusive and non judgmental.
Even the day I had to leave and return the mobility scooter in the morning . Transport was arranged to pick me up and drop me where I needed to go that day on site .
I had to cancel my flights for holiday due to the injury. So I was very grateful that Centre parks were so accommodating so I could enjoy some aspects of this summer.

We love Centre Parks Sherwood Forest but the prices are becoming incredibly high. The lodge was immaculate, and always enjoy our relaxation time back in nature.

Stayed at Sherwood. First time at a CP. Lots of people say how much their children love it, so thought we'd take our 4 and nearly 1 yo so they got to experience this in childhood. Really don't get the hype. It was fine. I personally don't think I am a self catering fan and cannot see the appeal of taking the kitchen sink with you to avoid shopping for everything when you're there. Such a chore on what is already a "kids holiday" anyway. It is not for the parents at all! Very stingy with dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. Even have to bring cot bedding. I don't think I could go through it again any time soon! The pool is horrendously packed. Slide queues 20-30 minutes. Wave machine didn't come on in later afternoon / evening (once every 2 hours if lucky). Didn't do many activities but they are just meh. Far better to go to a specialist activity centre. I expected these facilities to be much better. I am the wrong market though as I can't really see the appeal of going on holiday to do paintballing one afternoon. You could do that any weekend. Wildlife was not an "attraction". Ducks, geese and grey squirrels. Not hard to find these at any local park. The playgrounds are poor. Local park is better. Soft play areas are also pretty naff. If we'd stayed more than 3 nights my 4 yo would definitely have been bored. He enjoyed the novelty of being biked around in a trailer. that was pretty fun, but we're now back shattered and broken (note to self to exercise far more which is a useful reminder). Restaurants we ate at weren't very good - food cold at los iguanas. my old Dutch / ihop do far far far superior pancakes to the pancake house. might try another site if the children are keen but I'm in no hurry to return.

Arrived at Centreparcs LeHaan bungalow 748 to absolute filth. Dead flies on the bed, dust and cobwebs on light shades above dining table where you eat.
Flies on worktops and dishwasher was full of leftover food substances. microwave was filthy with food particles and grease. Fridge was dirty just wiped out. Cobwebs hanging from ceilings. Mirror was filthy and dusty. Downstairs toilet was dark and stank of faeces and urine.
Upstairs toilet was filthy and stained with brown marks in annd surrounding the shower annd toilet facilities. All paintwork was grubby and had brown marks and stains on paintwork and kitchen cabinets.
Bedding was grubby and stained.
Outside barbecue grill filthy with chicken remains. All the above items are a health and safety risk to myself, my daughter and my grandson.
The staff were flabbergasted at the state of the property too. Who checks these things? What standards are used to regulate the cleanliness?
Who is responsible for our holiday being ruined. We are all absolutely exhausted from a 3am start from the UK in order to reach the bungalow which had not finished being supposedly cleaned to find a filthy excuse for a holiday home.

We’ve came to Centre Parcs a few times over the years and this time it just hasn’t felt the same. It has always been expensive, but it’s really quite ridiculous, for example, the den building activity cost is £54. We stayed in Whinfell forest and it’s a lovely place, but one gripe is that there really is no entertainment of a night time. I think there should be a tribute act, children’s parties, dancing and singing, or clubs for children and adults of an evening. The swimming pool is amazing, with lots of fun slides, which is good and you can stay in there as long as you like. I also think that as you get older, the magic of Centre Parcs disappears, as the last time we came here was when we were much younger, and could really make good use of the facilities and activities. The lodge is very clean, well-kept, and is welcoming and homely. So it is a nice stay. There are also activities for all ages. The prices are just very very expensive, so it is difficult to complete a lot of activities throughout the holiday, especially if you have a large family, with lots of young children. If you do visit here, be aware of the prices, as it’s very pricey, but enjoy the stay here! 😁

I've been to Center Parcs 3 times. Whinfell, Longleat & latterly Sherwood. It is expensive but i knew that before i booked. I also knew the activities where expensive & allowed for this in our savings pot. Myself, son, daughter & my 2 grandchildren went for 3 nights.
Staff: All staff across the site were friendly & helpful. They do a good job & i hope CP's recognise that.
£1000 for 3 nights - this gave us the cheapest accommodation. Whilst having basic equipment - the lodge could have done with a deep clean. I was bitten twice - by what i think was bed bugs (cannot be 100% sure) that turned into Cellulitis. Unpleasant - so they need to check the beds/rooms & deal with it. I asked my grandson if he enjoyed the activities after all he is the reason we went. He did on the whole. Food on site is expensive - again i anticipated this. The rooms need some information in them to inform of evening entertainment. We knew of nothing until our last night when we happened across a bar with all sorts of activities going on called the activities den. I won't be going back to CP - it's had its day - although the accommodation is better than Butlins.

Toby and Ben were brilliant at Laser Combat! So engaging and very clear of instructions, would recommend this and would do it again
