Not Flexible

I had to change plans and instead of flying to Manila I needed to change to Bacolod and they wouldn't do it and then I asked for a refund and they said no...They basically ripped me off. I went straight to Philippines Airlines and they were so nice and helpful and gave me a discount because Cebu Pacific ripped me off.

Flug gebucht mit falschem Datum und mich 2 Minuten danach beim Support gemeldet

Ich habe einen Flug gebucht und bin beim Datum verrutscht. Habe dann direkt nach der Flugbuchung Kontakt aufgenommen. Habe mein Problem geschildert und gefragt, ob ich das Datum noch ändern kann, da die Buchung ja gerade eben war.
Ich habe nur irgendwelche Standard texte als Antwort bekommen und auf mein Problem wurde gar nicht eingegangen.
Ja, die falsche Buchung war mein Fehler, aber ich habe schon von Leuten gehört, dass normal wen man sich gleich meldet, es kostenlos geändert wird.

Ich habe schon öfters dort gebucht. Aber werde in Zukunft dann andere Anbieter nehmen.

Terrible airline - Unsafe, unethical business

Terrible airline! Boarded a full plane, then proceeded to hold everyone on board for 2 hours, then escorted everyone off the plane because the door would not close, then had everyone wait for 3 hours trying to get half the plane passengers to forfeit their tickets, then cancelled the flight for all passengers. Promised a refund at the airport, but when followed up with support, was told no refunds. Unsafe and unethical.

My first flight with this airline was a disaster, I received an email stating that the flight was delayed by 5 hours. When we showed up to that time, they did not let any of us into the plane, however we found out that only some of us received that email, the plane had already departed, they overbooked the plane. We than were redirected to another airport two hours away in the middle of the night to take another flight the morning after

Absolutely the worst
first its impossible to contact them over phone or chat,
then the agent when finally joined was so rude,
I had an accident and had to cancel my trip, after asking for all kind for medical reports and still unhappy, they refused to reimburse both tickets when I paid for them, when they accepted to reimburse they started asking to all kind of document and the hospital license and doctor degrees and birth certificate ... what a silly team and company and 7 months later I didn't hear back from them even after many emails I guess I am never receiving my money

Was booking multiple flights for different days. Unfortunately, I booked a flight on the wrong day. After chatting online an hr after booking the flight, I was told no refund was available. Too bad. So my opinion it is corporate greed at its best. Stay away from this corrupt company. You normally get 24 hrs to cancel with a full refund. Use another method of travel. Take a ferry if possible at least they have a customer service to talk to

No Consideration for OFWs — Travel Funds Not Honored

I’m an OFW, and money is not easy to earn when you’re working abroad. That’s why it’s very disappointing that Cebu Pacific did not honor my travel funds just because I didn’t purchase CEB Flex. Not everyone is aware of all these add-on requirements, and not everyone can afford to pay more.

The travel funds came from money I already spent on a flight — money that I worked hard for overseas — yet they refused to let me use it. There was no consideration, no customer compassion, and no willingness to assist despite my situation as an OFW.

Airlines should understand that OFWs sacrifice a lot just to support our families, and simple considerations like honoring travel funds truly matter. I hope Cebu Pacific improves their policies and shows more empathy to hardworking Filipinos.

They damaged my luggage, I filed a request to have it replaced in April, and it's December and they have not responded yet. Absolutely hopeless. I hope this vile airline collapses.

Extremely poor payment security and no support for fraud victims

I am deeply disappointed with Cebu Pacific’s handling of payment security and fraud-related issues.

Two unauthorized transactions were made on their website using my credit card — both for a large amount — and no SMS verification or 3-D Secure confirmation was required. This makes it extremely easy for criminals to use stolen card details on their platform.

After discovering the fraud, I contacted Cebu Pacific immediately, but the company refused to assist or even acknowledge the issue, simply stating that they cannot help without booking details — information I naturally do not have, since I did not make the purchase.

Their lack of proper security checks and refusal to cooperate with fraud victims leave customers completely unprotected.

I strongly warn other customers to be cautious when making payments on their website.

Cebu Pacific should urgently improve their security practices and provide real support to people affected by unauthorized transactions.

the worst experience

Let me share a travel horror story that turned a quick, direct flight into a 38-hour sleepless odyssey, where I felt less like a human and more like transported cargo.
The Disaster Timeline:
1. I arrived at the airport, checked in, and then was immediately told my flight was CANCELED!
2. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, they claimed they had no upcoming flights to my original destination.
3. Their "solution"? They bounced me to a completely random destination, then to another layover, and only finally to my intended destination. It was an inhumane, convoluted route designed to move me, not serve me.
I spent nearly two full days in transit due to their failure—38 hours without sleep—all for a flight that should have taken 90 minutes.
This is an utterly appalling level of service. Cebu Pacific views its passengers as pieces of luggage to be shuffled around, completely disregarding our time, comfort, and well-being.
Please, do yourself a massive favor: Before you book your next trip, think twice and check VERY carefully who you are flying with.
Cebu Pacific? They proved that their customers' health and time are absolutely worthless to them.

If I can do zero stars I would. Their customer service team just don’t help you. I was having a problem managing my booking but they didn’t give me other options and just ended the conversation.

I give a rating of 0 because of my…

I give a rating of 0 because of my experience upon checking in on November 13, 2025 around 4:30 pm Philippine time at Clark International Airport. This review specifically on CEB ground floor handling of their passengers and the policy for their “1 luggage only for check in, but if you pay them, then they will accept more luggages”

At first, I arrived at the check-in counter and did my bag drop in as I did my check in online. I am very confident that I will not have any problem as I only have 17 kls of check in luggage and 2 kilos of extra for my lantern pack in a bubble wrap with carton. But the ground personnel who attended to me explained that policy for CEB is 1 luggage per check in but since I have a 2 kls of Lantern it is considered as 1 luggage regardless of it’s kls, I try to ask the Manager assign for the day to give me consideration as my other luggage is just 17kls and the lantern 2 kls, just exact for my 20kls allowance of luggage. Unfortunately they insist that I need to pay 1 check in luggage for my 2 kgs lantern costing me 3,000 pesos.

I paid the said amount but the problem is they don’t accept cards, they want cash. I withdrew and paid them, but they did not even give me a receipt which is a violation for our consumers act…if I am not mistaken. I just ignored it and went back to the ground personnel. He asked me to sign a waiver that if in case the lantern breaks or gets damaged they will not have any liability at all as I sign. Imagine I paid 3000 pesos for the said lantern and yet they are not liable if it gets damaged ... .excuse me!!!. I told the personnel that I will not sign it, and here comes the tenured personnel next to his station saying in a nasty way, “ if she doesn't sign it do not check in the luggage (In a very harsh manner)” not even explaining properly why i have to sign it. The tenured guy was not providing proper customer service for a certain policy that they implemented. In the end I signed the said waiver as the tenured staff threatened not to check in my paid lantern.

If you travel to Thailand, better find other options for Airline Company as I am sure you will have a lot of luggage going back home as everything in Thailand is cheap.

I am not considering using the service of CEB in the future after the said experience with them, better use another airline company because being a frequent flyer with CEB is useless.

Lastly is that, the policy is not clear on the website and why only cash payment, no debit or credit card accepted? and also why they don’t even issue a receipt upon payment???

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Whilst this airline offers tickets at prices often cheaper than some competitors, it's true to say "you get what you pay for": Narrow, uncomfortable seats akin to sitting on a church bench; no in-flight entertainment on an 8 hour flight; no food/drink unless you pay extra; they even charge for a blanket in a very cold cabin. Also, if circumstances mean you apply for a legitimate ticket refund, these charlatans will obstruct, divert and obfuscate at every turn. Do yourself a favour and pay extra for a reputable airline with proven good standards and who actually care about their customers.

Unprofessional Customer Service

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE,live agent representatives repeatedly ended the chat on me before my issue could be addressed. I was not given proper assistance, nor was I provided with any alternative solutions. This caused significant inconvenience, frustration, and wasted time.
