Bucht woanders!

Die online seit ist schon unübersichtlich sobald man mehr möchte als nur buchen. Unser Flug wurde gecancelt und ein Ersatz 1 Woche später angeboten. Nächste Umbuchungsmöglichkeit wäre für einen Tag später gewesen 6h Flug inkl 3 Stopps statt 1h Flug oder 2 Tage später.

Wir haben neue Flüge bei Philippinen Airlines gebucht und die Rückerstattung bei Pacific angefragt!

Scam company

Scam company. I booked twice with the same flight details, and they still can’t send me the booking confirmation. They refuse to cancel my booking even though they can’t provide any confirmation. I been waiting for 5 days now. What a waste of money. Better book with PAL

Cebu Pacific re-timed my flight by more…

Cebu Pacific re-timed my flight by more than 4 hours. I cannot accept the re-timed flight as I have a connecting flight on another airlines. They refuse to give me a full refund. The o my options are rebooking or travel credit. All other airlines that I know of allow a full refund in such cases. Terrible policy and the staff are unhelpful. When chatting they refused to provide email address for me to complain.

Ganz schlechte Airline

Ganz schlechte Airline. Plus ist der Preis. Aber: Inkompetenzen und überfordertes Personal. Arrogant und überfordert bei Problemen. Ich hate einen Flug Ausfall. 1,5 Stunden vor take off. Ersatzlos gestrichen. Alle Anschlussflüge musste ich umbuchen. Antwort der Mitarbeiter? Das ist nicht unser Problem. Nie wieder. Lieber mehr bezahlen, dafür mehr Sicherheit. Und der Preisunterschied innerhalb der Philippinen ist nicht so groß

Bad comunication with costumers

Bad comunication with costumers.
We had a delayed flight from Hong Kong to Manila with Cebu Pacific for the first time with a connection to Cebu, and it was the worst experience we've ever had.
The flight was delayed more than they said, and the crew even told us they would be waiting on the next flight and that we could run to catch it. It was not true ; they didn't wait and didn't even know about the delay. We lost our hotel, the driver, and all the psychological stress caused by dealing with them.

The worst airline you will ever use.

They lost our bags twice in transit within the one week. They made us sign a form saying our bag was damaged because it was slightly frayed at the top, and then when we received our bag it was completely torn and wrapped in cling film, then proceeded to tell us we signed a form saying our bag was damaged and they wouldn’t compensate us. They have the worst customer service, not one person was helpful in 4 flights.

Absolute disgrace, even for a ‘budget airline’.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with…

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Cebu Pacific.

Our trip was severely disrupted due to multiple operational failures on their end. The problems started with electronic check-in failures, despite following the process correctly. As a result, we were bumped off our original flight due to overbooking, something passengers should never be penalised for.

To make matters worse, the secondary/replacement flight we were placed on — already scheduled two hours later — was also delayed, reportedly due to mechanical issues. This compounded the disruption even further. Because of these delays and poor handling, we missed our connecting ferry to Boracay, twice! Costing us time, money, and a significant amount of stress.

No meaningful assistance, accountability, or proactive solution was offered. This wasn’t a single isolated issue — it was a chain of preventable failures, from system problems to overbooking and aircraft readiness.

When an airline markets low fares, it should not come at the expense of reliability and basic customer care. Travel plans, accommodation, and onward connections depend on airlines doing their job properly. Cebu Pacific failed on every front during this journey.

I would strongly caution anyone with time-sensitive travel or onward connections to think twice before booking.

Go Flexi (Free cancellation) is a scam

I paid for cancelation on my flight but they could not cancel my flight without reason.

I tried to cancel on my own both on app and webpage, but none of them were working. It was just letting me back to ‘my bookings’ page with my booking still there and not cancelled.
I spend 3 hours communicating with first the bot and then an agent. They needed to launch an IT investigation to cancel my flight. First i disagreed, but they did not offer another solution so i agreed. Afterwards they promised to send email but never did.

NON VOLATE CON QUESTA COMPAGNIA!

Volo Manila Coron cancellato senza comunicazioni. Alternativa due giorni dopo, inaccettabile perché ci avrebbe fatto saltare tutti i piani. Rimborso meno del 50%. Se non ci fossimo attivati in tempo per il check-in la vacanza sarebbe stata rovinata.

Horrible customer service.

Site breaks down, says they will email call - nothing, so you chase and chase.

Avoid like plague. Airline that is run like a village kiosk. When you call customer service 30min wait(international call) and still get no help

Misleading and terrible customer service

I selected and booked a direct flight on Cebu Pacific’s mobile website. Within one minute of booking, I realised the ticket had been issued as a connecting flight with a 6-hour layover, departing at a similar time. At no point was this change clearly flagged during checkout.
Customer service confirmed there were no direct flights available after booking and refused to help, despite me being willing to pay the fare difference. The self-service tool does not allow route changes, and agents would not manually reissue or offer a refund or credit.
This feels like a UX trap on mobile — a material change (direct → long layover) should be explicitly highlighted before payment. Instead, the burden is pushed onto the customer with no remedy.

Mickey Mouse company

This company is a joke. On the way to El Nido the flight was overbooked and delayed because people needed to be convinced to give up their seat. Weight thresholds were exceeded as well, so our luggage was left behind in Manila.
On the way back to Manila there were delays again…
Also the check in luggage rules are completely ridiculous, never heard a bottle of liquor needs to be “retail sealed”, resulting in throwing away a 3/4 bottle of Whisky.
Will try to avoid this airline going forward.

Absolutely impossible to check in…

Absolutely impossible to check in online.
Their "live chat" puts you on hold for over 30 minutes but then expects you to be waiting in front of the screen, if you don't they'll close your chat 5 minutes after inactivity.
So it's basically not possible to use their online services.

Terrible service , arrived 3 hrs early for domestic flight , no update when enquired told 2 hrs late maybe longer no apology nothing, 1 Hr late still no update , this airlines Shit. Staff are not trained and are incompetent. Flight now delayed a
Further hour again nothing told
You Have to Ask these incompetent people. Nearly as bad as Philippine airlines but not quite that bad but getting there. Lucking the Cebu website was updated with delay 9.30am flight not 1300 hrs again still no apology from this shit airline. I have to inform the staff of the update…….

This airline is simply a nightmare

2 days ago, I wanted to book a flight, made an initial payment from my travel fund. When I wanted to pay the balance with G-Cash, the booking page had disappeared. When the balance cannot be paid, the amount paid from the travel fund should be returned to the travel fund within 24 hours. This was not the case. The two live agents I talked to did not help, instead they wanted a proof that I really had money in my travel fund. This is not only rediculous, it is a form of embezzlement.

Beware of booking Cebu Pacific for the small Savings it appears to offer

Cebu Pacific have become a profit over people airline investing millions in aircraft but stripping the customer service bare. The intention seems to be more control to bots and AI and therefore the less staff they need to employ but the problem is that the AI and bots they use are cheap and useless and can’t fulfil the simplest of tasks making the process of dealing with Cebu Pacific extremely time wasteful especially when at the end of trying to search a solution to a problem in its booking process you are told at the end you need to restart the whole booking process again. Agents (if in the unlikely event there is a person to talk to available or contactable by phone which seems to be impossible now ) are also now incapable of correcting or completing a malfunction or error in Cebu Pacific booking forms which may mean no booking or no flight. In my experience Cebu Pacific is now the worst and most unreliable airline ever in terms of Customer service and reliability in its booking. I used to use Cebu Pacific regularly before Covid 19 and before they moved to AI to run their airline business but now I would choose any other airline unless there was no other option. Their credit card payment option did not work for me for my last Philippines booking in Philippines for 2 attempts and near the end of the 3rd attempt to complete the cc payment I was instantly blocked by the form and told to start the whole process again. This is a recurring theme in the Cebu Pacific experience. On my last trip abroad using 3 different airlines and 3 different hotel booking sites only Cebu Pacific were incapable of processing my credit card payment. Even if Cebu Pacific offered considerable savings I would not choose to book with this incompetent airline any longer but the reality is that despite its incompetence to process simple bookings, the savings are quite small compared to Philippine airlines which not only offers a better and more comfortable flight than Cebu Pacific but also offers the security of ‘people’ instead of useless bots which Cebu Pacific run on ‘Charlie’ and in the end with Cebu Pacific you have just wasted your time in their nonsense mandatory personless booking process and are essentially, at the end of a failed booking being instructed by a bot, only investing your time to be told to start the whole booking process again.

Cebu pacific airlines is a really bad…

Cebu pacific airlines is a really bad airline in the Philippines. Delayed flights, boarding process is choas, the employees are really bad at customer service and they always announce the gate 1 hr before the flight (so as a flyer you have to sit in front of the TV monitor, try and listen to the announcements over the loud terminal. Be warned. If you miss your flight you forfeit your ticket fair, they will not rebook you on another flight. Must be a Filipino cultural thing.
