During a visit to Silverstone I picked up a Burgo model of the Mercedes F1 car. Very impressed with the detail so decided to build up the collection. Checked out the Car Model Store on line who had an excellent selection of Burgo scale models and was able to order exactly the other models I required. Found it very easy to order from them online and their customer service was very good with very prompt delivery.

I think I got scammed by a publicity on Facebook. When I try to contact them via email it can't send the email. I probably waste 69 $ CAD for something I will never receive so be careful guys.

Ordered a pre-release item and now told out of stock
Ordered and fully paid for a pre-release item intended as a birthday present. Two months later, after chasing many times and being assured I had an allocation for the item, that it is now out of stock and they cannot get it from their supplier. It seems that they never ordered it from their supplier at all. The item is still listed on their website for ordering! Not only did they fail to fulfil my order, it took many attempts to chase them to find out they can't fulfil the order having had my money for 2 months. Extremely poor service.

DO NOT PRE-ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE
I pre-ordered a model from here on 9/10/2023 as it was written on the website that it will be released in December. But that release date got changed several times to January to Febuary and to April so I decided to cancel the order altogether as it was taking too long. I asked them for a refund and they agreed to process this refund for me on the 10/05/2024 and tried contacting them 3-4 times since then as to why the refund is taking such a long time and their same reponse was that they are going to follow it up with their finance team. Does this team even exist? Now they don't even reply to my messages and I can't go to Paypal for fraud as it has been more than 6 months. Not only am I not getting the model, I'm not going to be able to get a refund either!!! PLEASE do not use their service! Their customer service is really poor!

We can appreciate how disappointed you are, especially in light of the revised release dates. We frequently have little control over these delays since manufacturers occasionally experience unanticipated events that cause them to postpone product releases.
On May 10th, 2024, we started a transfer concerning your reimbursement. We are unable to transfer the refund back to the original payment method, though, because the order was placed more than six months ago. You need to fill out the transfer form that we emailed you. We can begin processing your refund right away as soon as we get the completed form.
We regret not getting back to you regarding the progress of your refund. Our customer care team has discussed this with us to guarantee prompt replies going forward. Kindly inform us if you encounter any difficulties locating the transfer form or if you have any other inquiries.

This was a gift so i never actually saw the 3 cars myself. However i am assured they ate brilliant and he loved them. The purchase and post process was easy and trouble free and i was kept informed the whole way. In short a trustworthy retailer. Recommended without hesitation.

Really poor customer service
Really poor customer service. Ordered a model for £275 but unfortunately arrived damaged. Sent an email describing the issue and with pictures attached but no response. Tried their contact number several times but went to voicemail quite quickly so left a voice message explaining the issue and my number so they could call me back. Eventually got some sort of reply weeks later asking if I'd like a replacement model or a refund, I asked for a replacement. Some more weeks go by and am then informed they no longer have the model in stock. Had this been actioned much sooner they may have been able to ship a replacement. Even more going back and forward with them requesting a refund until I eventually got one. Originally emailed about the defective product on 14th April & got the refund on 23rd May... I have another product on the same order which is currently on back order, hope it arrives..

I contacted CMS as I was looking for specific models and they were able to supply some of them. They were very helpful and so far this is my favourite car model store.
Communication was great, the quality of the products I have received have been excellent and I would highly recommend using them to others. A great service.
