Sometimes when I make a reservation it…
Sometimes when I make a reservation it will automatically be deducted from my credit card.
Other times I just give my credit card info and then I pay at the hotel when I check in.
This is how I would like it to work.
Why does the amount get deducted from my credit card right away??

When I booked
When I booked , I had decided not to guarantee my hotel night , but I noticed the small box saying for 5.99 I would receive insurance on my booking , but when I clicked on it to accept it automatically added an additional 17 dollars to the 5.99 and I could not change it, it was very misleading and because of it , I will never book again with you .

Booked a hotel room in Ottawa with hotels.com …stated the price was $190 including fees and taxes . Went to check out at the hotel and the charges were from expedia and every night they charged me differently upwards of $150 more than I was quoted a night !!!!!

Lots of choices and prices
I really like the price comparisons and the free night every 10 stays. I also like the change of the free night to a credit cash so you can use it for more than one night if the hotel is cheaper. I use the Hotels.ca app for all my holidays.

Overall the session went well, however, I am not pleased with the no cancellation/no refund policy, especially since the reservation was more than a month in advance - situations can change a lot in 30+ days. Rest assured that I will not be using this service again.
