Burra Design Omdömen

Alex was great. Provided feedback and acknowledged we had already done a great job, so wouldn’t charge us. Genuinely a nice guy with good knowledge.

I had a great experience working with Alex. His communication was clear and timely throughout, making the process smooth and efficient. Alex is also an excellent problem solver, quickly addressing any challenges that came up and offering practical solutions. Highly recommended!

Our experience with Alex was nothing but excellent. I was initially hesitant to work with a third party designer, preferring to design it myself, but I would strongly recommend anyone else to work with Alex rather than go it alone or just with the IKEA staff designers. He picked up on problems with my deign that I would never have found until it was too late. He was extremely easy to work with and his knowledge of the IKEA range and specifics of designing an IKEA kitchen was unparalleled, much greater than the IKEA kitchen designers. His designs were high quality, including detailed notes for our installers and the store. He was always very quick and thorough in responding to our follow up questions. We love our new kitchen and could not have done it without Alex. I cannot recommend him enough.

Alex was recommended to us through Ren Studio, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the recommendation. Alex turned what could have been a stressful kitchen and bathroom renovation into a smooth, effortless experience. He’s incredibly organised, knowledgeable, communicates clearly, and is always one step ahead.
Highly recommend!

Really happy with the service we received from Alex at Burra. I knew what I wanted but didn’t want to make a mistake with sizes and also miss out on what other solutions and ideas I hadn’t thought of. Highly recommend this service if you are wanting to save money on cabinetry but still want the designer look and feel.

IKEA HACK MASTER
We were completely new to the thought of the ikea hack system for achieving beautiful custom joinery on a budget. Alex came highly recommended by the door manufacturers. Alex fitted us in for a consult promptly and he came with enthusiastic energy and passion. He has years of specialist experience and knows exactly how to hack the tricky details. We received our designs within a couple of days and Alex was extremely patient and responsive with all our queries and eager to welcome a tricky challenge.
We have now have stunning robes, miles of storage and smiles on our faces!

I can’t recommend Burra Design enough! Alex is very creative, knowledgeable and knows all IKEA products in and out. He has given us great suggestions for our kitchen, bar and wardrobes designs. He is very responsive and makes the whole design process easy and enjoyable. Huge thanks and we’re looking forward to working with Alex again on our next project.

Thank you Alex for helping us so much with our kitchen design. We had a basic plan in place but Alex was so helpful with tweaking it and putting on the finishing touches. He has an awesome in-depth knowledge of ikea cabinets etc. and what can be done. I also loved how he was very honest about what would/wouldn't look good. We installed it ourselves and chose our own non ikea sink and tap and it looks awesome - the benchtop installers kept commenting how it looked like a professionally designed and installed kitchen!

Alex was very responsive, and easy to communicate with. He made the process of designing an IKEA laundry, and liaising with the company making our custom doors for the laundry, very simple and easy. Highly recommend!

Alex helped us with custom cabinetry in the living room + laundry. Alex's communication and expertise were outstanding, I cannot recommend his services highly enough.

Super knowledgeable, great to work with and recommended a top class installer. Will definitely use Burra Designs in future.

We knew we wanted So Watt fronts for our kitchen renovation, but we had no idea how to pair that with the Ikea cabinets, especially with the spacing.

Alex provided the detail we lacked. He knows the Ikea catalogue inside and out. He understands how to pair with a 3rd party panels. He understands how to design for your space.

Alex was able to get us comfortable with our overall plan, provided the detail to make the So Watt and Ikea ordering process a breeze, and even provided good recommendations on who to install it all for us.

Alex was always super clear with his communication and very quick to respond.

We will likely use his services again we we can next afford to do the laundry!

Words cannot express how awesome the experience with was Alex, not only did he help me design a beautiful kitchen but he answered all my questions quickly and made me feel super supported along the was. This is my first kitchen renovation and couldn’t have done it without the support. Thank you Alex for all your help ☺️ highly reccomend.

Alex's knowledge of So Watts materials and other supplies we used and how to apply them to our kitchen was invaluable and made everything very easy.
His response to an inquiry was always answered almost immediately in a friendly helpful manner.
I would throughly recommend using Burra Design for your new kitchen,
best Derek

After a successful kitchen project last year we decided to work with Alex and the team at Burra on our new project which included a large kitchen, laundry, study and wardrobes. We did get a quote on bespoke joinery for various areas and the Ikea proposition (and value / cost) is hard to go by when designed properly.

The team at Burra have delivered again. The service is quick, responsive and clear. Alex’s understanding of all the little bits which add value and polish to the IKEA offer. When placing the order with IKEA their sales representative was very happy with the clear notes describing all the little extras tip and tricks noted by Burra.

We are using SO WATT face panels and the ordering process and collaboration between the businesses has been excellent.

We couldn’t recommend Burra enough.

Alex helped us design our Kitchen and Laundry and we are so pleased with the outcome! His service and communication are exceptional and he was always happy to answer any question or help problem solve with ease.
Alex expertise and product knowledge helped us tremendously and the outcome is that we were able to customize both designs as much as possible. All trades that have come in to install different parts of our overall home reno, have been so impressed with the design and finish and wanted details of who we worked with. Overall we worked out that it has saved us approx. $10k working with Alex, vs a kitchen studio (comparing like for like).
Would happily use Burra Design again, thanks!

My brother who is a kitchen cabinet maker by trade highly recommended Alex. We are currently in the process of a new house build and engaged Alex's services to help design the kitchen, butlers pantry, laundry, walk in wardrobes and mud room.
Alex's wealth of knowledge is second to none. He guided us throughout the entire process and was more than happy to answer all of our questions. Would 100% recommend Burra Design to all of our friends & family

I can’t recommend Alex highly enough. He knows his stuff (kitchen design looks great), was super responsive, fielding lots and lots of my questions, and liaising with the install team. Many thanks Alex!

Alex designed our IKEA kitchen and laundry for us, and we are so pleased we made this choice!

From the initial phone call it was clear that Alex knew what we were after, as was able to create a design that would fit within our budget. He clearly knows the IKEA range and systems inside-out, which means he could quickly pull together different design ideas, taking into account both style and practicality.

As someone who is very time poor, I really appreciated Alex’s promptness and flexibility.

It was also fantastic he was able to put us in touch with his contacts in the industry to assist with the install.

Alex helped us develop a creative kitchen design, matching IKEA cabinets with customs fronts. His encyclopedic knowledge of kitchen options is impressive, and allowed us to make the best use of the space. He was generous with his time and knowledge, answering a range of questions after drawing up the initial design and order.
I'm very happy with the result and, given the chance, would definitely use Burra Designs again.
