Burra Design Omdömen

We initially booked Alex at Burra Design because we had a fairly clear idea of what we wanted for our small kitchen and needed help with the IKEA planner. He ended up helping us with so much more than we expected. There were a lot of emails, questions and changes from our end, and Alex was incredibly patient and quick to respond. He helped us work through the layout, storage, open shelving and all the little details around fitting the appliances and getting the cabinetry to line up properly. He picked up things we simply wouldn’t have thought to check ourselves, and always explained why they mattered.

I particularly appreciated how upfront he was about costs. When we were considering custom shaker doors, he explained the difference between raw and painted finishes, gave us actual price comparisons and encouraged us to look at the IKEA options before spending more. We never felt pushed towards the more expensive choice.

His help continued well beyond the initial design session. He recommended suppliers for the benchtop, handles, sink and tap, put us in touch with an installer, and explained what needed to happen before we started placing orders. He even emailed on a Friday evening to flag a possible upcoming IKEA sale in 3 days time just as we were about to place our order - saving us over $1,500 - needless to say, his small fee in comparison was completely worth it!

Thank you so much, Alex. We’re really glad we found you!

A fantastic and seamless experience!! We were able to get some helpful advice from an expert to help make sure our kitchen worked seamlessly. Alex was so helpful and answered all of my questions in a timely manner and just picked things out that we wouldn’t have even thought of! Would recommend 11/10!

Alex is absolutely incredible, he went above and beyond.
I had spent hours on an Ikea design but knew I hadn't utilized the space and options to the full potential and the amendments and ideas he came up with were perfect.
I have a quirky little cottage and didn't think a functional kitchen with my inspiration ideas was possible with my budget and limitations however the final design has far exceeded my expectations.
All communication was so quick, easy and transparent.
The service provided is such good value for money and I'm so excited to see the kitchen come to life shortly.

Alex had great design ideas and quickly responded to questions and changes. his suggestions and knowledge of the products was exceptional.

Because I was trying to create additional storage around existing joinery, I decided not to pursue the pre-pack option but did find that Burra was very professional in their call and explanations of the processes. I would most likely try them again with some other projects I have.

Alex was patient, helpful and creative, and the finished design is so much better than anything we’d have come up with

Alex was super helpful - quick responses, very supportive and generous with his time, professional, high quality work. Would recommend

Highly recommend Burra Design. Alex is responsive, has great design sense and really value added. His knowledge of Ikea and So Watt was exceptional and made the whole experience of kitchen and laundry design easy and efficient.

Made some great improvements to the design that IKEA put together

We had a wonderful experience with Alex from Burra design. It was our first time doing a kitchen renovation so had little to no idea about where to start. Having someone there to guide and reassure us about our choices was extremely comforting and valuable. We are very happy with our finished result. The IKEA kitchen accompanied by So Watt fronts has given us the kitchen we envisaged. We would have struggled and made many mistakes if we had decided to tackle the project alone.

We engaged Alex to design our IKEA kitchen. He was really knowledgable, came up with a great design and was able to solve a couple of problems we knew we had. He communicated everything really well and made the purchasing process easy. We couldn't recommend him enough.

We had such a great experience with Burra Design. We’d been doing weeks of research and decided to get a second opinion before finalising our order, and it ended up being the best decision.

Alex was so helpful the whole way through. He was super responsive, really detailed, and gave us advice we genuinely wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. We had a few limitations with our space, but he made what could have been a really complicated process feel easy.

He was also great at communicating with both us and Ren, and just made the whole process really smooth from start to finish.

Couldn’t recommend Burra Design more, especially Alex.

Alex was so patient with the small adjustments that we wanted to make our kitchen work. He was really quick with making changes and brought so much knowledge about how the ikea system worked. Saved us a lot of time and stress !

Alex from Burra Design was a pleasure to work with. We approached him with a general concept, which he elevated with great ideas that we hadn't considered. By the end of our design session, we had developed a far more refined plan than we had originally envisioned and we've been thoroughly happy with the final results. Alex is highly professional and experienced, and we greatly appreciated his pragmatic and tasteful approach to design.

Experienced. Professional. Prompt. Efficient Listened and offered ideas that work within a limited space.

Burra Design's Alex C is prompt to respond to queries, helpful and knowledgable. He was quick to suggest solutions and hands on where necessary. His ready familiarity with IKEA and So Watt products was a boon as was his knowledge about kitchen codes & construction. An excellent communicator. His advice is a sound investment.

I recently obtained Alex’s services for a kitchen renovation. Alex was excellent. He absolutely nailed it and made the design process a breeze. Alex is personable, very knowledgeable, helpful with suggestions, and has great attention to detail. He is a master of IKEA systems. Highly recommend.

BURRA Design really helped to get us on track with our kitchen renovation. Definitely worth it. Alex helped tweak and tighten our design with important tweaks that we didn’t even think of, and then took all the headache out of ordering with Customea. He was always available for a question, replied quickly, and is very knowledgeable. Absolutely 100% would recommend. Thanks Alex & BURRA.
