Ordered these doughnuts for my wife who is gluten intolerant and wanted some plain gluten free doughnuts. They arrived on time but were dry and fairly solid. We warmed them up like the instructions said and the texture wasn't any different. My daughter took one bite and spit it out saying it like biting into laytex. Maybe they are better fresh out the fryer but we won't be ordering them again.

Yum yums tasted stale ,I was told by the company this could be to do with …. Having worked in the bakery previously the only thing I can think is that the dough was over rolled. The dough is fragile especially as we use a special blend of gluten free flours and it’s possible that this batch was over rolled and that would have made them denser and possibly feel more stale. Had to bin them as they were so dry, unfortunately I was just told the above ,no refund or no fresh yum yums it’s a shame really as first batch I had were spot on.

They arrived s day late and left upright outside in the street.
Parcels and post ususlly buzzed into the building.

So actual doughnuts not tasted as had to be binned.

I’ve ordered yum yums cos I’m gluten free intolerant. When I got them, they were already slightly on the drier side, but tasty. The next day when I wanted to have it with my coffee they were super hard and very dry. I still had it but took lots of coffee sipping and chewing. They are tasty, but not worth the money. I appreciate that gluten free dough is more delicate, but I have 2 left in there that won’t get eaten as they very hard. They also arrived in a box only, not in another bag like some other products that prevented them from drying out.

Second time ordering, give a second chance but….
Presentation on delivery was a desgrace ! All smashed !

Ordered the cake and fried best of boxed. The fried ones were good. What I remember a doughnut tasting like. It's been over 20 years since I had one. The cake ones on the other hand were disgusting! The cake fell apart probably due to the ridiculous amount of icing on top of them. No one needs an inch of icing! They tasted absolutely vile as well. Stick to what you're good at borough 22! Cake ain't your thang. Also incredible expensive. But most things gluten free are a rip off.

I'm not sure if the doughnuts suffered greatly at the hands of DHL or not. I was very excited to order (and ultimately eat) the doughnuts I had contemplated ordering for a long time. They arrived by DHL after 7pm, I imagine therefore they had been in a van for the entire day. Box was squished on one side but had done it's job still protecting it's precious contents. On opening the box I was not wowed, all 6 doughnuts were not glossy or sugary, they were wrinkly brown and unimpressive to look at. Then I picked one up.....solid! I was unable to break a piece without some serious strength. Not defeated I followed the instructions to reheat, this made very little difference. I can't explain the texture....solid maybe, rubbery maybe. I was and remain disappointed.

Do they have the same texture as doughnuts with gluten? No. But are the fried doughnuts the closest thing I’ve had in over 12 years? Yes!
The fried doughnuts do need warming up if you’ve had them delivered and I think the filled ones are a bit softer, just because they’ve got the filling in them, but they are still really good.
I will say that I ordered the fried doughnuts when they very first came out and I think they were better and a little bit softer then but I don’t know how anyone who’s celiac can hate on these! A whole company trying to make products we can eat!

Ordered a box online, spent £36 for doughnuts that look nothing like the picture and were incredibly dense and very dry. I actually couldn’t believe how bad they were, basically inedible and extremely disappointing for the cost

After a few hiccups with getting the correct product delivered, we ended up with rather a lot of doughnuts in the house! Cue lucky friends getting free doughnuts, and a tasting menu for the rest of the household. On day 1 the doughnuts were delicious, however day 2 they had gone quite stale. Definitely worth eating on the day of purchase for a great free from experience. Big thanks to Ryan for giving the time to sort it all out!

We first tried borough 22 doughnuts in selfridges - wow, even hubby said it was one of the best doughnuts he's tasted and wouldn't know it was Gluten Free. For my little boy who always feels left out, this are well worth the money so I ordered some for delivery. They came and he's loving them!! Thank you Borough 22 for making a GF diet more exciting

Following a mix up with our requested delivery date, Borough22 very kindly sent us an additional box free of charge. Now my belt is too tight.

Very disappointed with Borough 22. Paid almost £40 for 6 gluten free doughnuts for my friend who is coeliac. When they arrived they looked nothing like the pictures on the website. They were not delivered with the care or packaging I’d expect for such an expensive product. The actual doughnuts were inedible. Dry, dense, bashed about. I contacted B22 who’s responded was to offer me discount on another online purchase, which obviously I wouldn’t take another chance on. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t buy again.

Like they had someone new make doughnuts with no recipe or kitchen equipment. They were vile, tough, stale and like they had been made six months ago.

May a suggest a change from doughnut making to making projectiles for an arms company, there are many wars on after all.

Gluten free product are usually very stale and tasteless but not this one. You can tell thought and care have been applied and every ingredient is tastefulllll.
My favorite are the raspberry Doughnuts.
