I packed the bike up in a box I got from a shop (thanks Halfords). The courier turned up on time and carried it out to the van himself. The bike was delivered less than 24 hours later. The whole experience was very easy and not at all stressful.

Absolutely disgusting service. Used a standard bike box, but the bike was held to ransom for being oversized to the tune of another £30. The bike arrived OPEN and missing the charger, a pedal, the keys and manual. They don't care! Have pics of the way APC mishandled it and thy won't even investigate as they say it was 'oversized' so they won't open an investigation.

Measurements are shown on the website which aren't applicable for a lot of bikes such as 29inch wheels or Electric bikes these days. I got a bike box free from a retailer which was 177cm in length and therefore got charged extra £20 for delivery. Not good enough. Other companies have similar parcel parameters which aren't suitable enough either.

I used them to send a bike to a purchaser. I bought a bike delivery box for £20 from ebay that met their dimension criteria, and I even delivered it to the depot. They use APC in Farnworth for their deliveries. bikedelivery.co.uk is just a middle-man website. APC accepted the parcel and it was subsequently delivered to a happy MAMIL. Now they say that my box was 1 cm too wide and 1 cm too tall and want an extra £20. Jokers and chancers, I say. Avoid.

Shocking communication, only way to speak is by email which they don't reply. ' Bike Delivery'is just thr middle man and they use APC supposedly overnight specialists. Bike lost in the system for several days when I chased with APC progress resumed. Due to Easter delivery it is likely to be 1 week after collection. Absolute joke, supposed to be a quick service clearly advertised one website as over night. I ended up doing the work by chasing APC myself. Bike Delivery have done nothing to help apart from taking my money. My advice book a courier company directly yourself. Avoid this company

Don’t use them, absolutely disgusted. Bike arrived with a massive dent in the downtube making it un-rideable. You could see where the packaging had taken an almighty hit to the outside. This was an aluminium frame so someone must have really had to put some force into it. Tried to claim but the advertised liability cover is only £100 unless you pay extra so I’ve just lost out big time. The after service was not the friendliest either. I’ve always used Shipley before but decided to use bikedelivery as an easier option. Don’t use them, find someone on Shipley or go with parcel force.
* As un update to this review the company are now sending me argumentative emails about my review and trying to get it removed even though the purchase and claim have all been settled.

As others have said, be careful with these guys. They’re a genuine business but the claim of delivering 98.7% next day is aspirational at best. You may well be wasting your time (as I did) waiting for a delivery that doesn’t arrive

Don't think i would used this company again. I paid for the box, bubble wrap and tape and which was supposed to be delivered before the courier collection but it did not arrive. The bike is here and i am yet to assemble the parts. Hopefully it will be ok. I have bought a second hand bike but i would never use this company to ship a brand new bike. Don't think it would be worth the risk.

Please do not use this company. I used them to collect my 42 year old bmx. The job was farmed out to another delivery company who then farmed it out again. The perfectly packaged box arrived damaged as did the contents.

User friendly website, time slots for collection allocated after 10pm the night before. Courier driver friendly and efficient. Reasonably priced for nationwide next day delivery.

Overall a good service. It’s not great that there is no telephone contact number, which does not encourage trust. It makes it difficult to address any difficulties and left me wondering if I had been scammed. However I did get a response to my email and was able to re- schedule the delivery. I think it’s wise to package your bike well and make sure it’s well padded on every side. I didn’t get the impression that care was going to be taken. However it sounds like the bike arrived in one piece, so all good.
