Produits fiables en apparence, mais fuyez si vous comptez sur la garantie. En cas de panne, le SAV fera tout pour se défausser : mauvaise foi, demandes absurdes, silence prolongé… Une stratégie clairement pensée pour décourager les clients et éviter toute prise en charge.

Bad customer support.

Bad customer support.

Not even two years ago i've bought a Be Quiet! 1600w dark power pro 13 power supply. Over 400 euros for a single power supply! I was hoping to get one of the very best, to power a workstation.

A little under two years and my unit has started crashing under load, swapped for another psu i use for testing and everything was fine. A very open and close RMA experience i thought to myself.

Little did i know BeQuiet has awful customer support. Below is a recap of the events.

Timeline:
-> RMA was started on the 23 of february
-> 26 of february they asked to ship the unit in (no prepaid shipping label).
Immediately asked if cables had to be shipped too
-> Received an answer only on the 4th of march.
-> Shipped the unit on the 6th of March
-> They received it on the 12th of march.

Radio silence for three weeks until the 1st of april, when i contacted them to ask how it was going. Never received another answer to my RMA ticket.

-> 3rd of april i've opened another ticket
-> 9th of april they confirm that my psu was indeed broken. but they do not have stock to send me a new one. I immediatly ask if they have a date for when new stock would come in.
-> 17th of april they answer to tell me they don't know, and suggest i could get something else from their site worth the 480 euros which is the psu price.
I then ask if they have another model of psu in stock, since the website is not a shop and one cannot buy directly.
->30th of april they answer telling me they missed my message and have no other power supplies.

The 24th of april a new psu shows up without any communication from them.

That's more than two months, and i was forced to buy another expensive PSU in the meantime. I was hoping to get a better experience from such a well known german company. I would not recommend shopping from them.

Forces international customers to ship their defective items to Germany

-I bought a brand new be quiet! Power Supply.
-Said PSU broke within the warranty period.
-So I contacted be quiet! support.
-Be quiet! support told me to ship the defective power supply to Germany.
-Shipping costs? Should be paid by me, the customer.
-Which (I live in the Netherlands) amounts to at least €20,70 (normal shipping) up to €35,70 (insured).
-Thanks, but no thanks.

Pro: At least I am in possession of a really good looking and heavy paperweight now.
Cons: My mood almost forces me to throw the aforementioned paperweight through my living room window.

My advice? Stay away from be quiet! and instead buy from a company that does value customer service.

Ich hatte ein Problem mit der Glasscheibe meines Dark Base Pro 900, die leider beschädigt war und überall ausverkauft. Der be quiet! Support hat sofort reagiert und mir völlig unkompliziert und kostenlos Ersatz zugesendet – das ist alles andere als selbstverständlich!
Schnell, freundlich, zuverlässig – genau so muss Kundenservice sein. Vielen Dank an das be quiet! Team!

No product or customer support

This item lasted 4 years and is now dead. It started with a parasitic draw, and now does not function at all. I first thought cables, but replaced cables and still not working.

The unit was always plugged into an APC UPS in surge and backup. No issues were present that would have caused it to have a surge or need to go on battery (no power issues in the home).

I reached out to be quiet! inquire about a warranty claim on March 10th, 2025.

I followed all of their instructions to receive an RMA. I received the RMA 3 days later on March 13th, 2025.

I shipped the unit back the afternoon of March 13th, 2025. I shipped standard UPS and received arrival and signature on March 19th, 2025.

I had not heard anything, so I followed up on March 21st, 2025. They told me the standard was 4-6 days, but that "a few of our RMA team members are on vacation" and so it might take longer.

I still heard nothing back and continued to check in daily, concerned I wasn't hearing anything back.

It's now March 30th, 2025 and I have no resolution in sight and no feedback as to what's happening.

Needless to say, the customer service has been less than stellar. My son is now 1 month without a computer due to the PSU failure. We won't make the mistake of using be quiet! in the future.

EERILY QUIET - Lost sale

Submitted a pre-sales question through their website form on Feb. 8 2025.
Received the following;
"Thank you for your inquiry at be quiet! We have received it and opened a corresponding support ticket in our system. It is very important to us that you receive initial feedback quickly, which is why this message is generated automatically. We will process your ticket as soon as possible and get back to you personally"

By Feb. 17 had not received a reply (so it's really NOT important that a customer receive feedback quickly), and sent a followup to service at bequiet.com.

As of Feb. 20 2025, have not received any reply.
Their team is absolutely QUIET. They don't respond to potential customers! Convinced me not to buy their products.

Great company who realy do care about their customers! Fantastic Service!

First of all most important: this company really do care about their customers! Best service I ever got!
I had an issue with RGB LED on the front panel of my PC case and wrote them about my problem. Without long bureaucracy and data collection they just immediately shipped me the new panel and everything is hunky-dory now (free shipping, warranty case). Fantastic experience! Happy user, will buy again and can advise to everyone.
I really like the products made by this company. They produce great PC components. For example their SilentWings series fans I prefer to Noctua ones (one other proven leader). For my perception I find their noise on the same level, but sound pattern from BeQuiet fans I like more and they feel more solid and high-quality (no plastic burrs etc). PC cases and PSU-s are also good. On some expensive case models I would suggest to use little bit stronger/thicker metal but general build quality is on very good level.

Ein unternehmen wo der Kunde noch König ist

bin seit 10 Jahren ein guter Kunde
egal mit welchem Problem es wurde immer geholfen.
und das mal etwas schwieriger wird so ist der Kunden support immer bis zum letzten punkt bemüht das Problem zu lösen.
subjektiv gesehen da können sich manche Anbieter eine scheibe von anschneiden

I accidentally damaged my fan clips for the dark rock pro 5 cooler and ended up emailing support to see if I could get replacement fan clips and was happy to pay shipping and for the fan clips but be quiet was happy to send the fan clips for free from taiwan to australia which would cost them some shipping fees.

Also the Dark Rock Pro 5 performs amazing on my Ryzen 9900x keeping it cool at 43c in side a Lian Li Dan Case A3 Wood.

Je me souviens qu’il y a 4 ans

Je me souviens qu’il y a 4 ans, lorsque j’avais acheté un ventirad, Be Quiet m’avait marqué par son service client exemplaire. Quelques mois après mon achat, avec l’arrivée d’un nouveau socket, ils fournissaient gratuitement un kit d’adaptabilité sur simple demande, car leur produit n’était pas compatible de base. Et en plus, ils l’envoyaient très rapidement.

C’est pour cela que je mets 5/5. Ce genre de société est rare et il est important de saluer un tel niveau de service et de considération envers les clients.

Defect PSU exchanged

They acted on warranty of a PSU that I own without me being able to provide them with proof of purchase since I bought it used. They sent a new unit within three days; even one with higher wattage and a newer generation without any fuss. Now this is customer service! Thank you!

Pure Loop 2 120mm

Acquistato un dissipatore a liquido AIO Pure Loop 2 120mm (codice BW016) a fine Novembre 2024.

Dopo un mese circa mi rendo conto che il PC ha rallentamenti notevoli quando il carico sulla CPU è elevato.

Scopro che la pompa si ferma quando la temperatura della CPU sale sopra i 65/70°, a quel punto la temperatura schizza a valori altissimi e la CPU riduce la propria frequenza per proteggersi.

Contatto l'assistenza tramite il sito. L'addetto che mi risponde è cortese e competente, mi chiede alcuni dettagli per assicurarsi che non fosse un errato settaggio ed una volta appurato che il problema sembra essere proprio l'hardware mi propone l'invio a mie spese del prodotto alla loro sede in Germania (Listan GmbH)...

peccato che l'invio da Italia a Germania con corriere costa quanto se non più del dissipatore! Non avrei mai creduto che un marchio largamente distribuito come be quiet! non avesse punti di appoggio nazionali...

Perfect Air Cooler for the Ryzen 9 9900x

I got a system built a week ago with one of my highest priorities being a quite machine. I needed to cool a Ryzen 9 9900x but wanted to avoid liquid cooling due to a number of reasons. After much research I took the chance with be quite!'s Dark Rock Elite cooler which as absolutely exceeded my expectations with not only the consistent cool CPU temperatures no matter what load, but also the whisper quite operation of the cooler even maxed out. Compared to other coolers with their exposed components the Dark Rock Elite also looks pretty decent in my system with its neat and tidy designed enclosure and RGB light.
Altogether very happy taking a chance with this cool and would certainly recommend it to people looking for an air cooled solution for some of the latest CPU's
