STAY AWAY from this car rental located in Athens. The car was very old, dirty inside when we picked it up and the staff was rude and not helpful at all. They even said go to a car wash if not happy, for us it is cleaned. After drop off they delayed to unfreeze the deposit for a total 6 working days!. Definitely not recommended to anyone. Worst experience ever

I actually had a pretty good rental experience in Bulgaria. I arrived at the airport and had to call the guy to collect me as they are based in a site off of the airport. When we got there admittedly the car was quite old but it fitted all of our stuff no problem. I paid the deposit and was soon on my way. At the time of returning the car I was a bit worried as I had by this point read the reviews and was pretty sure I would get stung for some kind of damage... But I actually didn't and they returned the deposit after about 7 days. Only gripe is like I said that the car was a bit older but it did the job fine.

We kregen onze auto niet mee omdat ook de naam van mijn man op de visa-kaart staat. Nochtans staat mijn eigen naam (als chauffeur) -zoals gevraagd-volledig op de kaart . Ze erkenden ook niet de volledige verzekering die we genomen hadden bij een verzekeringsbedrijf. We hebben ter plaatse nog een verzekering moeten nemen van henzelf (van 33 euro per dag!) anders kregen we de auto niet mee (het alternatief was om 800 + 2000 euro cash ter plaatse af te geven). Zo hebben we dubbel zoveel betaald voor onze wagen als op voorhand was afgesproken in het contract.

Estafadores. Alquilamos un coche con ellos a través de una página web. Llegamos 30 mins tarde al aeropuerto de Sofia, Bulgaria para recoger el coche y nos dicen que ya lo habían alquilado. Nos conectan con otra compañía que conocens, un chico nos recoge del aeropuerto y nos alquila el coche. El día de devolver el coche en vez de devolver la fianza de 1 000 eur, la cobran otra vez. Cuando mi novio le dice, hacen la devolución del segundo cobro pero 15 mins mareando ahí con ellos. El primer depósito no nos devuelven y no cogen nuestras llamadas. Hemos ido a la policía local y hemos llamado la Embajada de España. El caso estará puesto contra estos estafadores. No alquileis coches de compañías con casetas de metal al lado del aeropuerto de Sofia, Bulgaria. Son todos estafadores. Elegid un grupo conocido y que tenga su representante en el edificio del aeropuerto.

ACA Rent Heraklion:
We were charged 570 EUR for a dent that wasn't even a scratch. Unfortunately, we took two photos of this side od the car and this part was accidentally left out. They are obviously after money, because they don't use it for repairing their cars. The car had about 15 documented previous damages. They lied to us that they repair their cars once a year. Our cars had so much previous damage that it was obvious it hadn't been repaired in years. This means that they charge for minor damage and don't use this money to repair the actual damage. To be avoided!

ACA RENT Corfu:
HANDS OFF HERE, WE WERE DENIED THE CAR WE PAID FOR!!!!
The voucher says that you will be picked up at the airport with a sign. A 45-minute delay meant that no one was there anymore. We called the rental company, who told us that we were 45 minutes late and that the car had been rented to someone else. The car was rented and paid for through Car-Jet – I'm curious to see how they respond! Now it gets weird: they would have an Opel Corsa available for us for 140 euros per day! The Toyota Aygo we had booked cost 300 euros for 7 days, and now they want almost 1,000 euros extra. This is outrageous. Extortion and fraud at a rental company! Thank you. Therefore, caution is advised, and it is better to rent elsewhere immediately

Ik had een golf geboekt bij acarent op de luchthaven in Tirana via vipcars.com. Àlles inbegrepen inclusief verzekering 257€ voor 8 dagen. Wanneer ik de auto ging ophalen werd er mij echter een extra verzekering van 320€ verplicht. Ik heb de auto dus niet genomen en op zoek moeten gaan naar een nieuwe. Opgepast dus wanneer je bij Acarent een auto wil huren!

Tenetevi lontani da questa agenzia di noleggio. E' ai limiti della truffa. Tutto è organizzato per aumentare il costo del noleggio. Fatevi firmare il contratto se avete già prenotato e seguite l'addetto fino alla macchina. Se avete già prenotato date disdetta e trovate altra agenzia.

Trato vergonzoso, horrible, tenía un coche reservado con mucha antelación para 6 personas, cuando llegamos al punto de entrega no había nadie, pasaban 20 minutos de la hora acordada, intentamos contactar con ello, el teléfono era incorrecto, cuando conseguimos contactar con ellos, nos dicen que el vehículo ha sido alquilado a otra persona por llegar tarde, ¿en serio 20 minutos y ya lo han alquilado? mentira, imposible, nos dejaron tirados a la 20 h con 2 niños en el aeropuerto de Atenas, nos trataron mal y no nos dieron ninguna solución.
NO RECOMIENDO ESTE SERVICIO NI A MI PEOR ENEMIGO!
Me extraña que VIP'S CARS trabaje con este proveedor, si se puede llamar proveedor.

I ordered a car from the AKArent Company at Corfu Airport, but it was issued to me by the Sigma Rent A Car Company. I paid for full insurance. But the employees of the Sigma Rent A Car Company stole 400 euros from me!
When we returned the car the next day, the AKArent or Sigmarentakar manager found 2 small paint chips on the rear bumper about 2 millimeters in size. He asked for my card and wrote off 400 euros from it. He said that the insurance company would cover everything. They said it was a small scratch and your insurance would cover it. I asked who my insurance company was. They said - CarJet
Now they are not in touch. The CarJet Company website, which insured the car, is also not in touch!

They let us wait for one hour. After the shuttle transferred us to their office. The tiny lady with black hair looked to us asked me how many bags I have and said that she hasn't a car for me. She let us down there with my three children. It's a scam company, dont trust them and rent your car somewhere else.

Mala atención y comportamiento de la manager, cero empatía.
Tuvimos un problema con la tarjeta de crédito para el depósito, que era solventable y la manager no nos daba la opción de poder arreglarlo, todo eran quejas, problemas y negativas por si parte; además de gritarnos y hablarnos mal.

Da evitare accuratamente. Al banco dell'aeroporto di Catania ho subito intimidazioni e umiliazioni perchè non volevo stipulare l'assicurazione copertura globale con loro, facendo presente che avevo già quella del broker discovercars. Mi hanno proposto una Panda con parabrezza incrinato per tutta la larghezza (secondo me non potrebbe neanche circolare) dicendo che era l'unica, poi al mio rifiuto è magicamente spuntata un'altra Panda in ordine. Ho dovuto pagare 10 euro per il lavaggio al rientro, gabella mai subita prima in anni di noleggi e non riportata nel contratto. 20 minuti spesi affinchè facessero le foto di tutte le parti dell'auto, manco fosse la Scientifica sulla scena del delitto. Al ritorno una riga dovuta probabilmente a sfregamento con rami che hanno intaccato la cera della carrozzeria del parafango (vernice assolutamente non incisa e nessuna ammaccatura) viene considerata un danno da 500 Euro. Mai più con ACARent, se ne guadagna in salute.

Finger weg !Sie wollen für die Zeit außerhalb ihrer Öffnungszeiten für jede Abholung und Rückgabe je 40 €!! Obwohl dies im Vertrag nicht drinnen war und behalten einfach 1000 € Kaution wochenlang ein -reagieren nicht

The guys are criminals. Don't book there. First they wanted to sell me an additional insurance initially,
afterwards we had to pay 365 Euro for a scratch which did not exist before.
You are normally in a hurry, normally you check the car for all scratches.
The car had many scratches before, they know all the locations where you normally don't make photos correctly and charge with that afterwards.

Sono dei ladri patentati, non prendete macchine da loro. mi hanno addebitato 500 euro per un danno inesistente nessun graffio alla macchina che è stata sempre parcheggiata ne parcheggio privato della casa dove ero ospite

J’avais réservé et payé en avance la location de ma voiture (Corfou).
Sur place, l’agent me dit que la franchise de 1200€ doit être bloqué via la carte de crédit. Malgré plusieurs tentatives, la carte ne passe pas (une carte World Élite).
Aucune solution n’a été trouvé. Il était 23h. Ils ne nous ont pas donné la voiture et nous avons dû faire aller dans l’agence d’à côté.
Aucun remboursement bien sûr !
Petit clin d’œil à la collègue de l’agent qui s’empiffrait des chips et nous parlait la bouche pleine en postillonnant : soit c’est ton agence et je comprends mieux le service qui va avec. Soit tu es une employée et ton patron doit être en vacances.

A fuir . Location Fiat 500 pour une semaine. Récupérer la voiture hors de l aéroport , il faut attendre qu on vienne vous chercher ! Ensuite bien prendre des photos de tous les côtés même bas de caisse. Pas de contrôle avec le loueur au départ par contre un au retour… il faut rendre la voiture lavée intérieur extérieur sinon 60 euros en plus. Location pas fiable

Abbiamo prenotato una vettura a Creta tramite Discover Cars a un buon prezzo. Vettura pulita e in buone condizioni. Personale molto scrupoloso nel visualizzare i danni al veicolo. Durante il noleggio abbiamo avuto la sorpresa di vederci addebitata una penale di 100,00 Euro per aver percorso una strada sterrata per arrivare in una delle spiagge + gettonate dell'isola. Immagino la vettura fosse dotata di un sistema satellitare che ha notificato all'agenzia la strada percorsa. Avrei preferito sapere, magari anche in fase di prenotazione, la politica adottata da questa agenzia. Era una strada sterrata si ma comunque fattibile. Numerose nel parcheggio le auto a noleggio, diverse le compagnie. Ho chiesto ad alcuni dei presenti ma nessuno si è visto addebitata tale penale, probabilmente non tutte le compagnie lavorano nello stesso modo. FATE ATTENZIONE QUANDO PRENOTATE!!!!!!

Esperienza pessima!!!! Sconsigliatissimo! Personale maleducato, ritiro dell’auto difficoltoso, nessuno in aeroporto ad aspettarmi, ti rilasciano una copia illeggibile del contratto, alla riconsegna dell’auto l’unico obiettivo e’ trovare qualche problema in modo da addebitarti la penale!
