The used item came in absolutely…

The used item came in absolutely appalling condition. Item came with used batteries that had leaked inside. So much for checking items before they are shipped. I wrote a note on the returned item (as requested) asking for a replacement but was given a refund without any communication. Questions I asked went ignored and unanswered (Why do you charge shipping on every item, even multiple of the same item?). At least they did refund the faulty item (including postage) which was good. Not sure I’d shop here again.

We have quality standards in place where items are checked before dispatch to ensure they are fully functional and in a saleable condition. It appears that these checks were missed in your case, and we extend our apologies for this experience.

I have noticed that necessary feedback has already been forwarded to the sending store so that their measures are reassessed and such recurrence is avoided.

Further, our shipping policy is designed taking into consideration various factors as well as current trends. Thus, there is a delivery fee of of $4.00 per individual item valued up to $50.00. Any individual items purchased over the value of $50.00 will not incur a delivery charge.

I understand that you preferred a replacement, but with the way the system works, it is not possible every time. Thus, a full refund was issued to your original payment mode.

As you had contacted us via email, I will be replying to it to look into this further for you. Please reply on the same email thread for more assistance.

I purchased an iPad

I purchased an iPad, keyboard and Apple Pencil. The deliveries came quickly and the quality of the items were very good. When i received the pencil, it was not the correct one. There is no phone number to call so i had to email and hope they responded quickly. They did, that same day. I was able to either send back at their cost and they would send the right one or i could go into a store. Customer service is very good and i would recommend this store to others.

Supplied a faulty controller

The controller had a b rating, but the thumb sticks drift. Therefore unit faulty. Not happy at all

Rude Staff. Unhelpful solution.

After placing an order online and receiving the notification that the item was ready for collection in store, I proceeded to heat to the Hurstville store to collect my order. When I arrived and made my way to the counter, I was ignored by the two young women working at the register, until such a point as they felt it appropriate to cease their conversation about how the store had ‘too much stock’, so that they could serve their customers (what a wild notion; customer service in a retail setting, who’d have thought!). I proceed to be handed my order, and (stupid me) trusting that the order was picked and packed correctly, proceeded home. When I got home and opened the package, I was greeted with the incorrect item having been selected. I made a report to your customer service and your solution was that I go out of my way to return the item (at my expense) through AusPost (I’m a registered nurse and work unconventional hours and on weekends, so cannot get to the post office during their operating hours) OR take it back the the store. Seeing there was no other way around amending YOUR STAFF mistake, I then had to take time out of my ONE DAY OFF to return the item in the hope that the correct one was still available. So, again, when I visited your Hurstville store, your staff were so incredibly rude; I made my way to the counter and the ‘gentleman’ (I use the term loosely) working at the register did not so much as deign to look at me. He continued to write a label for some other parcel being prepped and, instead of serving his customer, and returning to a lesser important task, yelled out across the store to his colleague to come and serve me, without doing his colleague the courtesy of opening the door so that the colleague could access the counter (talk about not having two brain cells to rub together). The second male colleague proceeded to ask what he could do to assist, I explained the situation, he apologised and proceeded to find the correct item and said ‘mmmm that’s strange, that probably explains why there’s an item waiting for collection here’.

Overall incredibly disappointing experience, RUDE staff who couldn’t care less about providing customer service (I’ve worked in retail, it’s not hard) and a waste of my time.
