Var hos jer i fredags den 1. maj, vi kom tidligt, da vi skulle mødes med alle de andre fra unicon, jeg sad i halvanden time og ventede på mit værelse, da det ikke var færdigt, det er helt okay, vi fik ikke at vide at der var et rum vi kunne aflåse til vores bagage, de andre de sad udenfor og hyggede sig, men jeg sad inde med alt min bagage, var tit henne og høre om man kunne komme til sit værelse, men fik et surt svar det er altså ikke klart endnu, det er bestemt ikke i orden i kan se jeg sidder og venter at ikke at fortælle der er et aflåstrum til bagage, kommer aldrig på hotellet igen

Balmer Lawn Hotel disappointment!
I am a hotel lover, my hobbies are travel and relaxation in great hotels, which I often return to.
I am proudly a neurodivergent and find ot difficult to adjust when things ... go wrong.
After saving up for a relaxing spa break, and getting the best room available, my hotel and spa experience was way below what I would expect from a "Luxury" hotel.
I will certainly not be returning, or making any recommendations.
The room was average, very large and comfortable bed, very outdated furniture (expected as I read the reviews before booking). The bath was dirty, the ring by the plug was caked in dirt, really awful! For a luxury hotel, this was extremely disappointing. The amenities were ridiculous for the price paid. No water in the mini fridge. An almost empty pump bottle of "shampoo and conditioner". To anyone travelling, take your own toilet paper and products, the grade is simply ... basic
When making my coffee order I was offered a scone and coffee and was happy to accept. I sat down waiting for my order, a staff member came over to say that due to there being other events going on, there were no scones available, I asked what I could have as an alternative and was offered a tea bun. I find it hard to change and opted to have nothing with my drink
My spa booking was incorrect, first of all I was called the wrong name, secondly my treatment was incorrect. The pool was full of children who appeared to have no access to the facilities as they were hanging round the doors waiting for someone with a card to open for them.
I am happy to report that the restaurant was superb 👌🏽
Great food, attentive staff, all three of my meals there were acceptional.
This hotel is an absolute gem
This hotel is an absolute gem, tucked away on a quiet island in northern Okinawa. The beach is stunning, the water warm and calm — perfect for relaxing and recharging. The hotel has been beautifully modernised, spotless, and everything works flawlessly.
Our host Taro was exceptional — arranging taxis, recommending brilliant local restaurants, and making sure every detail was perfect. Breakfasts were excellent, especially the Western option.
I honestly can’t recommend this place more — pure peace, comfort, and genuine hospitality from start to finish.
Don’t waste your money
As I write this, Lito Hotel has decided to host a very mediocre band playing loudly and out of tune for nearly three hours (since 8 p.m.) — on a Sunday night, no less. Friday or Saturday would be understandable, but this is unacceptable for a family hotel.
Our infant son hasn’t been able to sleep, and you can imagine the rest. We will not be returning and definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone travelling with children.
Robbery
Absolutely shocking horrible place stayed for two nights and had forgotten my make up bag in the room I contacted the hotel straight away and they said they will call us back if they find it it took them about 4-5 hours if not more to call back to say that had it went to pick it up the next morning to find that around £200-£300 worth of make up has been taken from the bag told them about this and they did nothing but say it’s not there fault I cannot accuse staff of stealing and in the laundry room where they keep the lost and found box ironically doesn't have any cameras in that room the manager confirmed this on the phone to me. When I opened the bag I found that the make up had been opened and touched with their fingers leaving marks and dents in the make up and the cheek of them to take a brand new item out the box and leave the empty box in the bag most of the make up was brand new and expensive brands it may sound silly as it’s only make up but for a young girl who works all day everyday and has slowly built up this collection of make up for it to be taken is quite a bad thing to happen really when you pay to stay somewhere and put your trust in the place and the staff it’s appalling to know that you will be robbed at any chance that can. Disgusting and disappointing
Cancelled Booking
I made my booking almost a year in advance and I have a confirmation email.
Upon my arrival at the hotel, in a foreign country and late at night, I discovered that the hotel had changed hands and my booking no longer existed.
At no point, between making the booking and paying & my check-in, was I contacted by @Hotel or either hotel chain and I have not been refunded the money that I paid to @Hotel when the original booking was made.
I have tried to contact them but they are ignoring me and when I check their website the confirmation numbers they sent me no longer work.

24/7 support wasn't helpful at all, no response from support when I email them about my reservation problem. Asking for a refund, no response! Seriously, not booking here anymore!
Fake Discounts, Fake Reviews, Stay Away from This Scam!
This is a complete scam. The company behind “athotel” recruits random people into WhatsApp and Telegram groups, offering €10 to leave fake positive reviews, and then disputes the payments to steal the money back.
I was added to one of these scam groups today. Out of 30 members, only 2 or 3 were actually in German-speaking countries. The rest were from India, Turkey, Slovakia, Nigeria, the USA, and more, yet everyone was instructed to write in German to make the reviews look local and authentic.
They advertise a “40% discount” on hotel bookings, which is totally unrealistic and clearly bait. The website is shady, and there’s no real service behind it. You won’t get a valid reservation, and you’ll likely lose your money or have your data stolen.
All the positive reviews are fake, written by people who were paid to post them, and then scammed themselves.
To protect victims, I literally had to write a script to flood the scam group with warning messages and disrupt their operation.
Avoid this company at all costs. It’s not a travel service, it’s a fraud network.
IHG POINTS REMOVAL WARNING
IHG have a new ploy to get rid of members who do not book as often as THEY want. Unknown to the member, they deliberately set your account to receive NO reminders as your account expiry date approaches. Then overnight your loyally hard-earned balance is unscrupulouly wiped! They tell you YOU set it that way! Then all further attempts to communicate with them, including letters to HQ, are unprofessionally IGNORED. They save a fortune of unused balances, target members who THEY deem no longer worthy. IHG need to be AVOIDED as its disgraceful & deliberate practice/conduct!! BE WARNED.

If I could give the Hampton Inn-Danville 0 stars, I would. I booked this hotel for a stay on Feb. 15, 2025. We had to cancel due to the event being cancelled. I called the hotel to cancel our room within the cancellation period and was still charged for my room. I called the hotel and spoke to Mr. Dewberry several times (one call lasting over an hour of me being on hold waiting for him to speak with Hilton customer service). He said he was willing to process my refund but wanted to know why (on their end) the reservation did not cancel properly. I have not received a refund as of yet 3 weeks later. I contacted Hilton Customer Service and received a case # and was told it would be a 3 day response time-that was almost 2 weeks ago. I will NEVER stay at this hotel. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
You have been warned! Do NOT stay at this hotel!

C est une honte de laisser exister un tel établissement et de tricher en mettant des commentaires élogieux dans les avis en effet rien ne permet de se dire que l on est en vacances dans cet hôtel.
L accueil est nul car les mails envoyés en amont pour prendre des emplacements de chambre au calme ne sont pas respecté. Les plats sont les mêmes tous les midi sans grande variété. L hygiéne laisse à désirer les tables à manger pas netttoyé après le passage des vacanciers le buffet trituré par les enfants les plats pour les galettes du matin dégoulinent des cuissons précédentes et de rouilles. Les tabliers et les gants des serveurs et des cuisinières sont degeulasse et quand tu te forces à manger quand même tu manques de vomir en pensant à toutes cette saleté. La piscine est à admirer car tu te transforme en glaçon si tu tentes de t y baigner. Le podium pour le spectacle est situé à côté des chaises du bar et si t as le malheur de t y asseoir pour assister aux rares spectacles du soir tu te fais chasser parce tu dois obligatoirement acheter quelque chose dans le bar pour avoir le droit de profiter des sièges. Dans le cas contraire tu restes debout pendant 1 h30 dehors car il n y a pas de salle de spectacle. Les chambres sont bruyantes par les bruits du club enfants et de la boite de nuit juste à coté.
Il ne faut pas se fier aux faux avis positifs il sont fait pour vous berner fuillez allez voir a l hôtel le jardin d Agadir pour passer de réels vacances

Me llevó algo de tiempo contactar con ellos para resolver algo sobre mi reserva, pero en cuanto lo conseguí, fueron resolutivos y me compensaron las molestias. Gracias a @hotel conseguimos un excelente precio de hotel en Amsterdam comparado con otros buscadores. La experiencia ha sido muy buena y volveré a reservar con ellos. Lo único que no me ha gustado es la atención telefónica porque me costó entender a ls dos personas que me atendieron (por el acento) y se oía mucho ruido de fondo, además del coste de la llamada. Creo que sería excelente que la atención fuera vía email.
