AES ltd have absolutely transformed my failing solar system, I spent 6 years wondering if my original investment was worth the outlay. We had never achieved the FIT payments we were promised.

The engineers arrived promptly on the designated day, they were very friendly and informative, and went through my best options again for the location of the batteries.

I had been dealing with another solar company in previous years, they went into liquidation. In my search for a new solar company i managed to come across Alternative Eco Solutions. I contacted Tom and Louis and they sent over an assesor Named Steve who checked over my system. He managed to find out that the inverter in my system was faulty hence why i was not recieving the same feeding tariff as before. Tom and Louis offered a very competitive price and i decided to go ahead with the offer and also a maintenance contract which made sense to sign up for just for future cover and being on the safe side. All in all i highly recommend this company. Very professional and reliable and always willing to help with a phonecall away.

I had a phone call offering a free check on my solar panels efficiency Lance arrived he plug a volt meter in and said my I mains power was to high,informed me I needed a voltage regulator No price give .He then OFFERED a payment of £ 3500 to LOOK after the solar system, no efficiency check made, he said will phone back no call made If my system failed I can replace it for £3500

In recent years, they have made considerable improvements to my Solar system. I now also have storage batteries to help make every possible use of the sun’s energy. In addition, I can now better understand my system by using the online monitoring app.

This firm is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Their salesmen are really knowledgeable. Matt immediately spotted an issue with the work done by a previous supplier, showed the issue to me and explained what I needed to have installed, how it works and where it needs to be located. You get comprehensive documentation and a proper contract. Their workmen arrive when expected, install everything and check it is all working properly. Leave everything tidy, explain briefly how it works, leave you with documentation, but if you have any questions you just ring the office, you get straight through to a person and you get a call back with the answer that day. Such a delightful change. Their after sales service is also excellent. Your system is checked remotely to ensure it is working to maximum efficiency and Matt even helped me resolve the issue with my previous supplier. I would recommend this firm to anyone.

I went with AE Solutions, partly on the recommendation of a friend, and partly because I trusted their written assurances that the price included lifetime after-sales care. AE Solutions are not the cheapest, but because they promise after-sales care, they use quality products and an installation design with 'longevity' built in. I did a lot of research and obtained quotes from two other companies before contracting with AE Solutions. I felt their system and recommended panel positions are properly designed for our particular location and house, rather than being an off the shelf 'one size fits all' design offered by the other companies.
There were problems with the installation, largely resulting from miscommunications between chains of subcontractors, but when I emailed to express my concerns, senior people came out the next day (and following days) to oversee the work being finished properly and to my full satisfaction. This demonstrates they are serious about their customer care, and I now feel I have the best-installed system possible! Although it is winter, the system is still managing to generate some power, even on overcast days. I am very confident that I have made the right decision to contract AE Solutions.

Having had a number of solar “experts” around to provide information and quotes, with the subsequent hardsell approach it was nice to come across Alternative Eco Solutions. Not only were they honest in their claims, they came up with very practical solutions to the specific issues I had with my panels. I already had panels fitted yet they were in dire need of a clean due to pigeon muck. I needed a battery fitted. Installation and cleaning was completed on the day agreed and a follow up visit to make sure everything was working was appreciated. I liked the monitoring via the App by Alternative that indicated that the system needed fine tuning, a flaw I would not have noticed. The App on my phone keeps me updated on my solar production although this in conjunction with my smart meter may well be grounds for divorce, as I have often rang my wife from a distance and called into question her decision to use the tumble dryer and have the kettle on too many times during the day. Once you get passed the novelty stage of using the App it’s an efficient system. Thanks for the additional advice on energy tariffs and your availability at the end of the phone when I’ve had some daft questions. Can’t rate Alternative Eco highly enough.

From the initial sales visit from Steve to the installation two days later by the two lads the entire experience was professional and friendly. At all times Tom and Steve were available for help and advice. A company we will definitely turn to again.

As a result of a recent enquiry reference my storage batteries not holding their charge, I contacted AES for advice. After explaining the problem I decided to follow their advice and updated my current Inverter. The help,advice and installation was first class and everything is now in operation. What was also comforting being able to speak with someone at the other end of the line without having to go through several channels, ie press 1,2,3 ect. My thanks to all staff and engineers who helped me through all of this.

After a disasterous episode with another company, AES rescued the whole system, they were amazing. It’s now fully functional and I cannot thank them enough. Fitters were cheerful and very tidy and clean. After care was and is great, company ringing up and checking all is ok and was I happy. I would have no hesitation in recommending ALternative Eco Solutions to anyone.
