Portable air conditioners do produce a noticeable level of noise while operating, as the compressor is housed within the unit, although we appreciate that noise levels can be perceived differently depending on the environment and individual preference. We'd also like to clarify why we requested the photo of the silver product label. Unfortunately, before we can process a warehouse error, we do have to verify the item received against our records. This isn't because we doubted your experience, but because we have procedures in place to confirm any picking errors before we can take further action. Had we received the photo when first requested, we would have been able to verify the issue and resolve it more quickly.

We're sorry that this process added to your frustration. We also appreciate your comments regarding the delivery, although the courier service is provided by a third-party company and their handling of the parcel is outside of our direct control.

We're pleased we were able to issue your refund in the end, but we're sorry the overall experience fell below the standard we aim to provide and that you were left without the unit you originally ordered.

I'm sorry to hear you feel this way.

We'd just like to provide a little context, as we can see you haven't placed an order with us. We had excellent stock levels throughout the year, but the recent heatwave created unprecedented demand and many of our air conditioning units sold out within a matter of days. Customers who ordered at the beginning of the heatwave were able to purchase while stock was available, however demand quickly exceeded supply. This isn't something unique to us and has affected many retailers across the industry.

We appreciate that it's disappointing when the item you want is unavailable, but we don't feel this is a fair reflection of our business or the service we provide, as you haven't actually used our service or placed an order with us.

I've checked the latest tracking, and unfortunately there still haven't been any further scans on the parcel. We've raised this with DPD, and they have now opened a claim due to the lack of tracking updates. We completely understand your disappointment, particularly after having to rearrange your plans on multiple occasions.

At this stage, you're welcome to wait while we receive the outcome of DPD's investigation, especially as air conditioners are currently sold out. Alternatively, if you'd prefer not to wait any longer, we can arrange for the parcel to be returned to us if it is located and issue you with a full refund. Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. We're very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this has been, particularly during the recent heatwave.

The unit was collected and delivered by a third-party courier, and while we always raise issues with them when things go wrong, we unfortunately don't have control over their collection processes or policies. For health and safety reasons, collections from flats are often carried out from the building entrance rather than individual apartments. We appreciate this isn't ideal, especially with a heavier item.

Regarding the return, replacement straps had to be sent before the collection could be arranged to ensure the unit could be transported safely. Once these were delivered, we booked the collection as quickly as possible. We're very sorry the courier then failed to attend as scheduled. We have raised this directly with them and have been actively chasing for an update. While we're continuing to respond to your emails, we're unfortunately waiting on the courier to action the collection before we can move things forward.

We completely understand how important it is to get this resolved, especially during the heatwave. At the same time, we're experiencing an exceptionally high volume of enquiries, and we're doing our best to support every customer as quickly and fairly as possible. While we appreciate your urgency, we also have to ensure all customers receive the same level of care and attention.

We're also sorry the unit wasn't in the condition you expected on arrival. This certainly wasn't intentional, and we would never knowingly send a faulty product. We understand your frustration and appreciate your patience while we continue working with the courier to resolve this as quickly as possible.
