Perfect service

My daughter and I were on vacation in Canggu and she developed stomach issues. We reached out to our travel insurance, Allyz and were directed to Air Doctor. Appointment was made easily through the site for same day in person doctor visit to our hotel. Test results came back same day and antibiotics were prescribed and sent to our hotel the same night. We are grateful to have Allyz and Air Doctor come to our rescue while traveling!

1. The distance indicated ended up being double, taking me 50 mins in taxis back and forth. A distance I could not calculate prior as it won't be revealed before booking and paying.
2. It takes up to 45 mins for a doctor to approve a request. My booking was fairly close to the lape of the 45 min time window. Had it been closer, would not have got there on time.
3. My appointment time was moved without me even realising so I spent an hour waiting.
4. I paid an already very steep price for a normal visit at a GP, and after the visit, without anyone mentioning anything (inc. doctor), another 115 was charged on top. I am sure its buried in the terms, but a very sneaky way of doing business.
5. I am trying to at least download a receipt and the link does not work.

A nasty chest cold kicked in whilst in Verona. The Air Doctor service is expensive, but just what was needed. A lovely doctor came within a few hours on a Sunday, and was very thorough and professional. A very good service, and I highly recommend.

Air Doctor charged me twice for a single medical visit on 1 Sept 2025 — first HK$1,400 and then an unexplained HK$1,602.92 a month later. I only had one appointment, the second invoice had no itemization. Additionally on the credit card statement it was marked as a recurring charge, with no justification for why a one-off visit would be billed that way.

Despite multiple emails back and forth, I have received no adequate explanation or assistance to date. This appears to be a clear duplicate charge and the lack of transparency and support is unacceptable. I would not trust this service again.

I came down with severe food poisoning while traveling. Allianz provided 2 “free”vists via Air Doctor. It was great to be able to access care through a virtual physician immediately, without opening an insurance claim while I was feeling miserable.
There seem to be live humans to message back and forth with you within the app while using the service, which was incredibly helpful.
I was glad to have this service to use!

I had an ear infection while traveling. Using my Allyz app I was able to find a doctor quickly and make an appointment. The doctors office was amazingly close to my hotel. It was so convenient to get my painful ear treated quickly.

Due to my work, I frequently stay in Germany and have mostly booked my doctor appointments through AirDoctor. One doctor, who regularly visited me at home, was a great support. He was exceptionally friendly, very competent, and always took plenty of time. The examinations were thorough, he asked targeted questions, listened carefully, and explained everything clearly. He also gave valuable tips, which made me feel very well cared for. Often, a single visit was enough to bring significant improvement.

For about a year now, I haven’t been able to find this doctor in the AirDoctor app. As a result, I had to schedule appointments with other doctors or even go to a hospital. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive the same careful attention there. In some cases, I was only briefly examined and sent home with a few tablets, without a thorough diagnosis, which did little to help. Eventually, I found my previous doctor online and contacted him directly.

For this reason, I don’t understand why this doctor is no longer available through AirDoctor. The app itself is very useful, especially when you need medical support abroad. Still, I hope that doctors who offer thorough and individualized care remain listed permanently.

Overall, I am grateful to AirDoctor for the service they provide – this is my experience.

En menos de media hora ya tuve turno en una enfermería en la cual me asistieron, por una astilla/algo que se me clavó en la planta del pie.
