The charcoal filter arrived in good condition. However, it took over a week to arrive. Why on earth do you use USPS? Please consider more timely alternatives.

Good quality air purifier - absorbs dust well and you can hear when it has to kick in to absorb it.

We love our AirDoctor. It has helped our allergies and my asthma.

In January 2025 Bought 3 of the air doctor 5000, now 5500. They worked fine until November. One died, just stopped working. Electrical issue. Unplug and plug in and it attempts to boot up then dies. They sent a replacement and that didn’t work, same exact problem. Called again and they said “out of warranty, sorry” and that’s it. Right after that the another one quit, so. So now only one of the four still work after less than 18 months. These are $1000 machines with a one year warranty, no grace apparently. Live and learn, hope someone heeds my warning regarding poor reliability and poor customer service before making this large purchase.

We bought a 5500, and within a few months, the control panel began to stop functioning normally. I contacted the company, and I was told to take the unit to a small electronics repair because they (AD) don't cover the control panel.
Now the entire control panel is not working and we basically have some expensive decoration.

I wouldn’t let my baby sleep in a room without an AirDoctor. It gives me peace of mind knowing the air is clean and free from allergens, dust, and toxins. It’s super quiet so perfect for nightime. Definitely one of the best things I’ve bought as a parent and recommend to anyone with kids and pets!

With all the recent fires in Los Angeles, our AirDoctor purifier has been a necessity! We have it on constantly and see a clear difference in the air quality within the home. Can't imagine another fire season without it!

Recent air quality issues have reminded me how grateful I am to have multiple AirDoctor units in our home which have been running nonstop for over a year. We vacuum our hardwood floors & stairs and area rugs almost every day and are always amazed by what the filters collect. The lights tell you when to replace filters. Very happy with our AirDoctors and continue to recommend them to friends.

I got and AirDoctor after seeing how much it helped my daughter at her house. She wasn't as congested or feeling allergic anymore, and I needed that for myself. I've had the larger model (5500) in my living room for a month now and the air just feels cleaner and better. Plus i'm in the los angeles area and I turned it up higher when my house started smelling like smoke. The light turned red after i opened the door because it detected the smoke but it cleaned it all almost immediately. I highly recommend it.

Emails to their contact email address are kicked back as undeliverable. Call to their customer service phone number are deflected by their automated answering system which tells me I'm calling outside of business hours which I am definitely not doing. They shipped the wrong product and now there is no way in hell they are going to acknowledge and make it right. Never again. -- a former customer

What a nightmare. I have called Air Doctor customer service 4 times. One time a person who spoke very little English kept saying she didn't understand me until I hung up. All I wanted to do was cancel my first order and place the correct order. With the last person I spoke with I am told to refuse shipment but that isn't so easy as I don't know when they deliver. Also, he processed a refund on my credit but charged me for the shipping. Very annoyed and would not recommend Air Doctor unless they make no changes to their orders.

This product has been great for my family. It's really helped me with pet dander. My husband used to suffer greatly when my brother came over because he has dog hair all over him. We read how this product helps with that from another blogger online and I got the product and tested it out and sure enough...it totally works! My husband is not suffering as much from the pet dander that my brother leaves all over the house.

Ordered replacement filters online and it’s been a month with nothing being shipped. Asked them on Instagram where my product was and they blocked me. It’s not like this stuff is cheap either. I paid $100 for a single filter replacement that I have yet to receive. Literally the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

Horrible company. Still not resolved.
Amazon now has better filters for less and they actually ship. Go with the off brand.
