I recently attended 3 day 1st aid course with liverpools St Johns Ambulance , the centre was nice and clean , there was a canteen with access to a kettle and microwave and plenty of seating around , there was even a butty van that came round for you to purchase your lunch from.
The course was informative , we did role play and group exercises to help us understand how to do CPR , the recovery position , etc , what to do when attending an incident , how to treat a casualty etc
Our main tutor was Julie Smith , she made the course interesting not just with the way she taught the course but with her experiences that she shared with us , she was approachable and friendly , and encouraged us to ask questions , she showed empathy and understanding .
i really enjoyed doing the course and i learnt an awful lot from doing it , and i feel confident enough to use the skills i learnt when im needed to.
