When I first started looking for a new guitar the one I bought was the one I saw first. I saved every penny I could til I had enough. I placed the order and could not wait. The box was delivered a day early and it was like Christmas for me. She plays incredibly amazing. I have toted her everywhere to show her off. I have been playing guitar and performing for 60+ years. I have played many different acoustic guitars over the decades. I now have arthritis, and my hand speed and strength are diminished. I perform at local elder care facilities at no charge, and it has been increasingly difficult for me to play due to the pain. I decided to purchase a ZAD900CE. Wow! I love the look, feel, touch, playability, and tone of this guitar. The Fishman AURA electronics are easier to use than I anticipated. Forming the chords and manipulating the fretboard are incredibly easy now. I have played Martin, Taylor, Guild, Gibson, Ovation, and Yamaha acoustics over all these years. They are all excellent guitars, but the 900CE has the most comfortable feel of any guitar I have played...and the sound is equal to, if not better than, the rest. I have relatively thick fingers, and the spacing between the strings is tailor-made for me. The 900CE is my go-to guitar. Many thanks to Mr. Zager for his brilliant design.

My experience with this company has been extremely positive. I do not expect a great deal in the way of customer service these days, but Zager and their reaction to my situation was beyond what I could have imagined. They went beyond what is 'just acceptable' and personally saw to it that they excelled in their providing me with above what was expected. They handled my situation quickly and in two days I have a magnificent guitar in my hands. The instrument was beautiful, light, full of tone, easy to play and matchless in it's quality. I would recommend their product and customer service to anyone looking for a beautifully hand crafted guitar. They are really 'one of a kind'.

Bought a ZAD900CE in February. Ordering was easy, and the guitar was shipped carefully and in a short time.

This guitar is very well built and high quality. Craftsmanship is superb. With that said - the sound is remarkable, intonation is great, and yes, it is an "Easy Play" guitar.

I'm not a professional, but I've owned many guitars in my 5 decades of playing, and I must say that this Zager ZAD900 tops my list of favorite guitars to play.

I liked the first Zager so much, I got another one - ZAD50N.
Same great build quality, same craftsmanship, same playability and also great sound (rosewood back and sides on the 900, mahogany on the 50).

Zager Guitars was easy to communicate with, also providing prompt and thorough answers to my inquiries.

There's a lot of people out there saying these Easy Play guitars is just a sales gimmick - Not true.

If you looking for a quality guitar from a good company, buy a Zager. You won't regret it.

I have Martins, I have Taylors, I have Alvarezs, I have Cordodas however, none of which match the playability of a Zager. I have 3 Zagers: 20 Series, 50 Series, and 80.
Can't wait to acquire my 900 Series!

2. Be patient! It takes time to get your guitar. They are worth the wait. Not only the appearance is pleasing, but these guitars are built and crafted well. The tone on the ZAD50 will blow your mind. You can move up the neck with ease.

I purchased the Zad 90 in January and play it daily. I know I was difficult when deciding to purchase it with many questions, but Dennis Jr and his team were so patient and helpful. To anyone considering a Zager, I promise they won't be disappointed.

Zager... What can I say thats already been said? I own 3, 900 series Zagers, one being a 12 string ce. My other two are a ce, Sitka top and a dreadnaught version with tobacco sunburst top. To me, they are all very different in their voicings, but all equal in warmth. Especially the non cutaway dreadnaught. I've been around a while now and have played many different manufacturers, Collings, Gibson. Taylor, Martin. Even my 1959 all mahogany Martin triple 000 doesn't compare in sound to a Zager. They are easy to play, and a great starter for young hands interested in becoming the next Clapton, or Leo Kottke.
Zager checked all the boxes for me and I'm glad I found them when I did. At the time I was playing a Taylor 9 series and a T5 custom and could not get the sound I was looking for.
I tried pedals, different amps, micing the amps in various places, nothing. If I knew that all I had to do was make a phone call and talk with Denny Zager about his latest creations. I'd have saved a lot of time and money. Now all I play are Zagers. Don't get me wrong, Bob Taylor makes a fine guitar too, but Denny does it at half the cost and even gives you a great case, strings, shirt, picks, capo etc. at no extra cost.
In a day and age where everything seems to be going up cost wise minus the quality, Zager guitars gives you both a beautiful heirloom piece you can pass down to future generations, and backs up their quality with their guarantee. Why choose anywhere else?

After not playing for 40 years my wife decided that I need a hobby as I get ready to retire at the age of 70. I googled easy guitars for fat old fingers and the Zager guitar popped up. It was the best decision I could have made ordering my 900CE. It plays so easy and the sound is unbelievalby fantastic. My wife says that every time I play it I SMILE. It says in tune forever and looks just plain beautiful. During the 30 day trial period I went to Sweetwater to compare the Zager with others and I had to get in the $5K range to even come close to the Zager sound and ease of playing and the sales staff at Sweetwater was quite impressed with my Zager. I have been searching for an electric guitar to add to my collection and I must say that my Zager has me spoiled and I cannot find an electric one that comes close to how easy the Zager plays. The Zager customer service is amazing, they answered my questions right away by email or even recived a couple of phone calls.

This company has been bombarding me with spam emails for days. I have never purchased from them or even been on their website so must have got my email address from a dubious source. Do you really want to do business with a company that thinks this is an acceptable practice.

I've contacted their so called support to get them to stop sending spam emails and I now receive 6 emails a day. That's how much this company cares about customer support.

The craftsmanship, the attention to the small details, its everything the advertising says, friendly warm staff, if your looking for quality and a beautyfull sounding guitar look no further. and value for money??? nothing to match it.

I have a zag80CE for a few years now and it sounds even better today then when I received it. I play almost every day.

First and foremost, Zager guitars are the best I have ever owned, and I have over 10 guitars.
Secondly, whenever I need help or advice, they respond quickly and effectively. As good as it gets. Order one and see for yourself.

I really have to say; These guitars are far more than worth the money.
I have never been much for acoustic guitars
( I'm a little guy so they tend to be uncomfortable for me )
But , my wife picked up an OM for me which we picked up a few days ago.
I have never fallen in love w any guitar like this.
Good/bad/indiff,
I have been playing since 73 and I have never heard a punch like this, let alone in a size that fits me comfortably.

Although I have played a couple of Zagers,
I never thought I'd own one...
This guitar is so beyond any acoustic I have played it is insane.
I can see why so many folks ; Large and small, have been switching to Zager...
And the guitar isn't just the only thing,
These folks treat you like you would want everyone to treat you.
I am beyond beholding to this family,
I am looking forward to making what changes I need to to put this on stage with me as much as possible...
I have spent so many hours on it in these few days that I can't imagine not dragging it around...
Oh and not for nothing;
The case is splendid , Heck, I put the guitar away just so I can play with the case.. built in humidifier? wow.
It's like opening a vault every time I pull out the guitar.

I have been on & off with guitar for a while and never really got comfortable with it. Always felt like I had to press too hard and still ended up with messing chords. Gace Zager a shot after seeing a few reviews when it came it didn't really worked for me so I sent it back to have action adjusted and it positively delighted me. It just feels smoother and lot more forgiving when you re still figuring things out. Im practicing more consistently now and not giving up half way through, which is new for me.

I wasn't really planning to get another guitar. I already had a couple but hadn't been playing much lately. My hands would get tired pretty quick. I decided to try this Zager guitar mainly because of the return option. Right away it felt easier to play. I didn't need as much pressure and chords, especially bar chords, came out cleaner without much effort. The tone is solid too, nice and full, no real tradeoff. I've been picking it up way more often now. If playing has started to feel like work on your hands, this is really worth trying. I could not be happier with this guitar.

I have been playing my Zager guitar for years and it still my favorite acoustic. I managed to lose the humidifier sensor from my case and when I inquired as to the cost of a new one, I was told that Zager, as always, is 100% guaranteed and life-time warranty. Betty said, "We will get a replacement in the mail for you." And the cost was ZERO! 100% guaranteed!! I am always amazed at the quality, workmanship and service from Denny Zager. Thank you SO much!

I bought one of their 900 series guitars they advertised as easy playing and lifetime guarantee for satisfaction. It has never played well. The stings either buzz or are too far from the neck to play above the 3rd fret even after I carefully followed their set up instructions. I took it to a Luthier who told me to send it back because he could not fix junk. I called them and got a very mean sounding woman who told me it was after the 90 day return limit it was too bad for me, they don't take them back. I am so disappointed, they don't return my phone calls or emails. I am stuck with $2400 door stop. What a mistake! What a bummer. Don't waste your money on Zager guitar even if it's a BOGO deal. The free one will suck too!

I bought a ZAD 80/N. Love the beautiful deep, rich tones. It’s a beautiful guitar. I might be interested in an acoustic electric someday. The service was outstanding. I am beyond pleased. Thanks for everything.
