I bought the camera system. After a while, the pressure from YI for extra payment is excruciating and there is so much advertising. Buy another serious camera manufacturer.

Le ho disinstallate e sostituite. YI sono ormai una pubblicità costante e se hai bisogno di controllare casa, non c'è verso...Bisognerebbe forse rifarsi sul portale online che ce le ha vendute.

While the camera is pretty good the app is wrggled with adds making it impossible to view recordings on the memory card.

Do not buy or you will be disapointed and forced into expensive subscription to view what you have recorded locally.

The cameras are not horrible cameras. The problem is the app. You must have the app to use the cameras. You must buy thier cloud to see any alerts or notifications OR use an SD card. But if you use an SD card you are saturated with pop up ads to the point of literally not being able to utilize the app properly. I bought the two camera set from a yard sale. I quickly realized why it was so cheap but appeared unused. Worthless! Don’t waste your time or money!!

0 Stars. I have used YI cameras in my home for many years but now I am throwing them out. I am forced to watch ads when I open the app now. I am not able to see my cameras detection video ON MY OWN SD CARD unless I pay YI extra money for a subscription. I bought these to use for the features that are now behind a paywall. I hate the company and will never buy from them again.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. I am just here to reiterate the frustration and anger at the app that requires you to watch a video ADVERTISING of an entire minute or more BEFORE you can view your cameras. In an emergency this is dangerous and thoughtless of this company to force you to pay money to be able to load them up immediately. It is reprehensible that they are allowed to let this happen. You buy these to make your families and properties safer and they say the app is free and you can choose to pay for monitoring. And then the ads appear and all of the cameras I purchased in good faith are practically useless. I’ve nearly Theon my phone in frustration when trying to check on a concerning alert, powerless to see what’s happening while an app for something that in principle I would never purchase wastes my precious time. DO NOT deal with this company!

I think the cameras themselves are great. But buyer beware.!!! App issues: The user experience is now significantly hindered by an abundance of intrusive in-app ads.
Forced subscriptions: the company aggressively pushes cloud subscriptions and forces ads on non-subscribers. (one evening I couldn’t even get back into my camera because it wouldn’t let me out of the ad.) I never would have purchased them if I knew this was going to happen.

Horrible. If want check a clip, ad starts ,spam,it may take multiple attempts to see it and real struggle. Most of the time it shows as camera connected. Clips always with missing videos. Never buy again.

Una indecenza oltre che una truffa, segnalo lo stesso problema, a quanto pare, riscontrato da tutti; ho acquistato 4 telecamere di cui l'ultima circa un anno e mezzo fa, all'improvviso da vari mesi mi ritrovo a non poter utilizzare l'AP in quanto appena mi collego e appena appena accedo ad una funzione vengo invaso da pubblicità e da segnalazioni continue che sollecitano di sottoscrivere un piano di Cloud per evitare pubblicità. Una vera e propria truffa, non si riesce ad usare la AP. Tutto questo non è stato segnalato all'atto dell'acquisto. Fermo restando che non ho alcuna intenzione di lasciare filmati a terzi ne tantomeno a questi c'è da tener presente che il costo del servizio Cloud non è irrisorio per 4 telecamere. Ho anche scritto una mail dall'AP segnalando la cosa, ma rispondono semplicemente confermando che solo con la sottoscrizione del Servizio Cloud, le pubblicità saranno rimosse....Vorrei avere indicazioni precise a chi segnalare questo problema quantomeno per evitare che altri acquirenti cadano in questa truffa.

Yi Home cameras are no longer useful. Tons of ads blocking you from viewing the camera now and you can no longer get clips from the memory card. I’m going to delete the Yi Home app and fully switch to Ring.

Ho 5 telecamere installate da alcuni anni, da qualche tempo per accedere alla visualizzazione sono costretto a subire un invasiva pubblicità che di fatto rallenta e limita accesso compromettendo l'utilizzo.
Ho fatto una segnalazione all' AGCOM e invito a tutti a farlo.

Imagine trying to log into your home camera in an emergency only to be served 2 or 3 ads for trash mobile games. Yi technology / Kami Home believe that this is more important than being able to use the product you have already paid for, they also do not care about their customers or the feedback they submit. Avoid this scam company and their products.

Waardeloos systeem . Geregeld uitval weer opnieuw conecten nou dat is fijn ladder bij nodig van 3 delen in de nok van het huis en dat x4 .
Nee had ik dit van te voren geweten had ik het nooit aangeschaft.
Mijn advies niet kopen en dan nog al die reclame in de app al geruime een jaar veel problemen met verbinding 1 jaar goed gegaan

​Tuttavia, da un po' di tempo è diventato impossibile vedere qualsiasi cosa: pubblicità infinita e continui solleciti ad abbonarsi per poter visualizzare le registrazioni (anche quelle salvate sulla scheda SD). È una vera e propria truffa. Se potessi, darei meno di una stella: non comprate queste telecamere, sono soldi buttati, pura spazzatura.
​È vergognoso che non venga specificato chiaramente, al momento dell'acquisto, che queste telecamere funzionano solo tramite abbonamento; senza di esso sono praticamente inutilizzabili. Una schifezza totale. State alla larga da questo marchio, è una truffa bella e buona.»

L'app è praticamente inutilizzabile con tutta la pubblicità aggressiva che mandano e viene meno il concetto di osservazione in tempi rapidi in caso di notifiche della telecamere. Ne ho 3 ma penso che le butterò nel secchio.

We have these cameras in my elderly mother’s house. She has early stage dementia and it’s our way to check on her and ensure she is safe.

In the past 6 months they have added ads. Which take a significant delay in logging on to check on her. And to toggle between camera screens each time you get an add which takes up to 90 seconds. This is a critical delay when checking on loved ones.

Also the price point they have added to get adds removed is excessive. And while it comes with more storage,we don’t really need the storage. We just want to check on her well being as we all live more than an hour away .

If you want to see what’s on the camera or what’s happened, you have to watch a couple of adverts for games (at least two minutes) and then, for every alert, you have to sit through another advert plus Yi Home’s own ad forcing you to subscribe to the cloud service. This company wouldn’t last ten minutes in Spain. Rubbish scammers. You pay for a camera and have to put up with a nightmare.

Basura, basura, basura. Si quieres ver lo que hay en la cámara o qué ha pasado, tienes que ver un par de anuncios de juegos (2 minutos al menos) y luego, por cada alarma, has de pasar por otro anuncio más la propia publicidad de yi home para obligarte a suscribirte al servicio de nube. Esta empresa no duraría en España ni diez minutos. Basura de estafadores. Pagas por una cámara y debes aguantar un suplicio.

I bought four cameras and had a paid subscription for over a year. However, I was experiencing some issues, so I decided to cancel it. Unfortunately, I ran into many problems during the cancellation process. I canceled the subscription through the app, but my credit card remained linked to autopay, and the charges continued. I called customer service, but they were unable to help me. In the end, I had to cancel my credit card just to stop the payments.
After that, I started using the free version, which has been a total nightmare. It's almost impossible to open the app because of the overwhelming number of advertisements. Because of this experience, I'm ready to throw away all of my cameras and never do business with this company again.

Absolutely pathetic cctv systems company. They have gone ridiculous.cant even view live feeds with taking subscription. Cant do anything without paying. They will louse a lot of money people will go to their competitors. Extremely greedy company. I have 4 indoor cameras and 1 outdoor all useless now.
