Agree with everyone’s latest reviews about adverts making this unusable - app deleted and going in bin!

Basura llena de anuncios que no permite usar las cámaras ni ver en la tarjeta SD. Hay un equilibrio entre algo de publicidad al entrar en una app de cámaras y luego dejarte navegar o impedir el acceso y la navegación por los menús con publicidad constante. No compren Yi.

Avoid buying these cameras! We used to be able to view recorded footage on SD card without a subscription, which was a selling point in their favour. Now, it is close to impossible to do so due to their constant, long adverts, including never ending ads to get you to buy their cloud service. It smells of a scam company so wouldn't risk a subscription with them

Awful system! Cameras work great, but there are more and more ads the longer I use this system (almost 1 yr.) Not only more ads, but much longer ads. When it finally gives you an 'X' to click out of the ad, many times it brings you to a malicious website or another ad for yet another 20 seconds. 😡

Can't view sd card without endless ads. Laughable to call them security cameras since what ever triggered them is gone before all the ads end. Do not buy this product, Blink much better.

Horrible customer service they will not cancel my subscriptions. There are a bunch of scam. Artists.

They are taking money out of my account monthly but I don't know what I'm paying for. I have my own security camera.I read a few reviews and they all talked about their product, which I assume camera and there is something else but I can't figure out what. Could someone please enlighten me on this. Thank you.

Purchased 3 cameras a number of years ago after a lot of research. Seemed like a great app but as everybody else says, it's ads everywhere. Ive never seen an app so riddled with ads before. When you enter the app, when you click on your camera, when you click out of the camera. Just trying to check on my house when I am away has become such a frustrating chore. I will be binning the cameras after my latest experience.

We have 5 YI cameras and to be honest we went with them because they are cheap.
The cameras work as well as can be expected for 1080p. But the App you need and Subscription to run the cameras is terrible. Kami will bill you extras and non authorised payments at random and the constant advertising is appalling. The customer service is non existent and good luck getting your money back.
Avoid.

Ho Comprato tre telecamere che adesso sono inutilizzabile per la pubblicità aggressiva che non ti permette di visualizzare in tempo reale. Ti perdi in minuti di pubblicità aggressiva che ti fa solo arrabbiare. Uno schifo.

Troppa pubblicità, l'app è ingestibile!

Si puo dire. ..la pubblicità con alcuni spot di videocamera.
E un logorio del sistema nervoso da quanta pubblicità sei costretto a guardare. Ameno che non ti abboni e paghi.
Pessima.

Le daría 0 estrellas. Funciona fatal desde hace tiempo. Muchos anuncios para que acabes pagando. Desisto. Compraré otros modelos

Every time you open the app, you have to sit through a long unskippable ad. Most of the time, it either triggers another pop-up ad or forces you to the Play Store. What’s even more frustrating is that if you want to view motion-detected footage saved on the local SD card, you still have to watch 3 long ads just to unlock each clip. In other words, you need to prepare yourself to waste several minutes dealing with endless ads before you can do anything. I don’t have that kind of patience, so I ended up throwing away all 3 of my YI cameras.

Worst camera ever. Ad Spam. Money Grab in my oppinion.

I have a number of these cameras - bought specifically as I wanted SD recording with no cloud subscription. They are now all effectively made junk by the ad-infested app and constant demands for a subscription that costs more than the cameras did. Time to throw them away, make sure no one I know ever buys Yi cameras, and switch to a manufacturer with some integrity.

concernant les caméras yi ils obligent à prendre un abonnement pour visionner une détection même avec une carte sd dans la caméra et trop de pub dans leur appli pour moi yi c'est fini

The worst company I've dealt with. I had to wade through 5 mins of ads before I get to my camera view. If I could have given zero or minus numbers, I would have done so. The company doesn't give a sh** about its customers. Don't buy anything from them. A complete rip off.

If I could give a negative 1000 I would. I renewed my subscription on May 3rd, 2026 till May 3rd, 2027 for 1 year, YI IOT changed my expiration date to November 3rd, 2026! That is only 6 months!! I contacted the help desk, they was rude on every message or wanted to merge or give me a month or 2 and I said no I want what I paid for which was $99.00 for a year of cloud service... they continued to argue and tell me I paid for 6 months, I screenshoted then the plan I paid for which is $99.00 a year. Not 99 for 6 months. They got really rude and said they can only give me a refund.. so I'm waiting on the refund now.. I been a long standing customer but these people are liars and thieves..

Una estafa, si no quitan la publicidad es para tirar las cámaras a la basura.. No es un producto competitivo.
