What let you down was the lack of communication from Your Repair…. We were booked in for a slot 8am to 12 noon…. By noon engineer not arrived - we had to ring Your Repair …. A whole morning wasted !!!

Very unreliable company with toooo many exceptions
Very unreliable company with toooo many exceptions allowing them to refuse any complicated work.
We pay them monthly with a view that when required help is at hand. But, any work which entails expensive intervention- they refuse on flimsy grounds. And believe me they have one of the most exhaustive exception list in their terms and conditions.
Totally wastage of money.

Boiler Service
After several attempts to make an appointment with the engineer to service the boiler, we managed to agree a mutual date. The engineer arrived towards the end of the time period stated. He did very thorough testing of the boiler and the gas pipes in and out of the gas meter. I was pleased with the service of my boiler. I think Yourrepair would retain more of their members if they were to reward their loyal customers with lower premiums. Overall, good service provided by Yourrepair.

Absolute stitch-up of a company.
I contacted YourRepair to explain that I’d had a new boiler installed and therefore wanted to cancel my policy. I was told I couldn’t cancel until the end of the current term, which I accepted.
However, I specifically asked them to turn off the auto-renewal so that the policy wouldn’t renew. They refused to do this, saying it could only be done when an email is sent a few weeks before the renewal date. Why should a customer have to wait for an email to be able to confirm that they don’t want to renew?
I’ve also had some very questionable experiences with the engineers they sent out. Some appeared to be third-party contractors rather than YourRepair employees, and on occasions engineers arrived without even seeming to know what job they were attending. On boiler servicing visits, paperwork confirming what had actually been checked or serviced wasn’t always provided either.
Overall, the experience has left me with very little confidence in the service. In hindsight, I’d rather pay the small extra amount and use British Gas, where you know you’re dealing with engineers trained within the company and working to their standards.
Its no surprise that i wont be renewing.

Boiler service
It would have been 5 star but for the fact the engineer was 2 hours after my window. I rang the engineer 15 minutes after the window to see if he was still coming. If he had called me to say he was running late it would have been 5 star as he just got on with the service , very polite and professional.
