Spoke to Fletcher at ybs
Spoke to Fletcher at ybs, he said that it would take 7 days to sort the transaction. Fletcher phoned me today to say it was sorted this morning in less than 24 hours. Always dealt with in a professional manner.

Helpful visit to the Bury branch
Due to not being able to access my account via the app and wanting to transfer money from one ISA to another I had to visit the branch. A very helpful man did this for me so for this I gave 5 stars but regarding the app I still cannot access my account so for that I would give the app 1 star.

Opening the account and transferring money were not so too difficult but being able to talk to a real person helped a lot in the process.

compassionate & astute manager
Having been away for over a year, I was trying to activate my app at the Woking branch, when a very vulgar female customer directed inappropriate comments at the male manager. He remained dignified, composed and handled it well. It made customers uncomfortable and when I asked if there was something I could do, Mr. Paz Morreale remained calm professional & patient: he explained how he saw the situation with compassion towards all. Truly impressed.

Easy to use website, but app depends on having a customer number that is meant to be posted to new clients- although in my case it was not explained or actually received. I eventually got my number on the phone.
