Excellent service. Doors delivered exactly when they said they would be. The driver was great too helping me to offload them and carry the doors into the house.

Top quality product, well packaged, delivered on time

I bought some Euro sized four panel oak veneered doors (both fire doors and ordinary ones). They were delivered promptly and in good condition. I am very pleased with the final appearance and overall quality of the doors, which were hard to find in these sizes elsewhere. I'm knocking off one star as the instructions are a bit confusing - they say that oils and waxes should not be used, but the retailer I bought from strongly suggested I should use Osmo door oil. When I rang the XL helpline, they confirmed that Osmo was indeed a product they recommended. It looks great after four coats. Also the hinges can be put on either side of the door, which is not made clear in the instructions and slightly confused my carpenter. Again the helpline clarified, but something in the instructions would have been helpful.

Disappointed- quality not great

Bought 3 doors that matched some existing doors we had - or so I thought - that I believe came from Howdens. These are far inferior quality, inconsistent finish to to detailing and over a poor finish. Avoid.

Very pleased with the delivery service, doors arrived in good condition and well packaged. Doors are well made and have two coats of primer, a time saver, doors fitted without any trimming.
Would recommend.

Wow. This review is in fact long overdue, and I apologise to XL Joinery for that. We had lots of problems with our internal doors, but XL Joinery went so far out of their way to put things right that it was unbelievable. We are so pleased and so happy with the result. Thank you and good luck!

Nothing wrong with the doors. Unfortunately the delivery was a complete disaster and customer service non existent. To summarise!… we were given a delivery date of a Thursday, then told it would be 4-7pm ! Who delivers to a building site at 7pm!? We waited until 7:30pm … no drlivery, no call / text and office closed ! Net day … still no contact …. We then contacted them and were told vehicle had broken down and delivery would now be the following MONDAY at 8am. Doors finally delivered at 12PM on Monday ! At no point did they contact us to say what was happening or the reason for the delay and all in all this has cost us over £1000 in additional wages alone because the doors are a two man lift and we had to have two joiners on site with nothing else to do (this was the very last part of a large project) who had have to be paid !! We have still had no contact or apology from XL JOINERY. I have invoiced for our costs and if this invoice is not paid we will be taking legal action.

I haven’t opened the packaging yet but they could have been more professional with the delivery which didn’t arrive on the date given by the delivery company,I received a phone call early evening to tell me it wouldn’t be delivered until the following day although nothing was amended on the tracking App and I had stayed in all day to accept the delivery,the doors were delivered the following day by a very affable gentleman who was a pleasure to deal with,the companies phone lines closed at 3:0 pm,a call earlier to advise of the delay would have been acceptable

Great quality fully glazed rebated double doors. I was struggling to find a pair of the right size until I found XL’s site with all the width options. Good text communications re delivery. Door fitter was impressed too. Would recommend.
