I think it is a scam. Last year I tried to find a button to delete my account, it either hidden or I was just unsuccessful. So I asked their support to delete my account and they confirmed. But this year they tried to charge my card again and again, I am glad I blocked it. So my thoughts are that you shouldn't use this. This year I wrote them again, but there was no reply.

I used to have the legacy Winamp installed on all my devices and even phones.

it was the, THE, best music player for all my local media. Then Winamp got bought and the new owner changed Winamp to fit the needs of a new non-existing user base.

This is not the real Winamp from the Windows 98! What A Disappointment to buy this app, and then noticing that something was wrong!

I want the Real Winamp, and I want the legalized Microsoft to make it!😭

Winamp has been my default choice for end-point, front-of-house, audio playback, since the late nineteen nineties. Recently, the company's, online, support helped me to resolve a problem which had been holding me back, musically, for several months.

I've used WinMedia because it would import/download song titles when I ripped CDs, then Microsoft (in their infinite wisdom to degrade user experience at any cost) dropped that feature. I've tried the Foobars etc. and found them unintuitive and clunky at times. GOM just p...d me off the last time. Set up was impressive - the options, especially the practical ones like which playlist type is better to chose, priceless to me.
I wanted a playlist saved to an external USB drive - where I keep my music files - Winamp promised to do that. So I tried to import an old Mediaplyer playlist, not only it imported, it started PLAYING the list! Whoa, I just got transported into the 21st Century. I am 61 and not an idiot but am getting tired of gimmicky stuff out there - Winamp - you got yourself a disciple.
Winamp how come I've never heard of you before?!? Do a better job promoting yourself, please, there are people out there that need your product!

Perfect music and video player, although I doubt someone is using it for watching videos. Love its visualisations, adore using default skins (my current one is ,,Nightvision''), like additional skins for it, excellent reproduction, can be used also for listening via external audio interface (I use Scarlett Solo 2nd Gen), and it sounds marvelous as a reference player.
I'm using it for 22 years already and I wouldn't change it for any other listening software. Any song I download, it goes directly into it.
All recommendations, for any generation.

usable program ,smooth, but it didn't challenge in the market , which make the other do a good job .

WinAmp is propbably the 3rd most used program on my home PC. It can save playlists, has an (and additional sound "enhancers" such as reverberation if you like), the amazing Milkdrop visualizer, access to online streaming radio, plays video, etc. etc.

After all these years, still nothing compares...
