Wickes - Havant Omdömen

Popped into wickes in Havant to gets some materials and needed some help to match something up i asked an Employee Bailey for some advice and can honestly say not only was he helpful and plea-sent to talk to he went over and beyond to help and even helped to load my car too, what a change to have an employee keen to help and advise too. Thank you Bailey

The delivery driver decided to change the pland route 4 stops away at 7.30 and ended up delivering at 11.30! The quality of the 3ft fence Panel was terrible due to how it was thrown together it was over sized and the upright battens were nailed on but some nails only secured one side the others missed the rear slat.

We went to the Havant Wickes to purchase some flooring and paint for our bathroom renovation (which is also being designed and fitted by Wickes). We were helped by Bailey, who could not have done more to help us. Bailey initially assisted us by looking up the dimensions of our bathroom, which we had left behind at home! He confirmed the number of floor packs that we would require, advised us of the underlay required and advised us of the best flooring for our needs (which by chance was also on a very attractive reduction). He then accompanied us to the paint section - we knew what make / type we needed, but colour matching to the new units was the next challenge. Here Bailey was of great help acting as a third opinion and also offering a customer colour mix if we wanted. Finally he went out of his way to collect the items in a trolley whilst we browsed for doors in the store, and checked us out ensuring that we also received our customer discount. A great service, our experience with Wickes has surpassed our expectations particularly due to the helpfulness of the staff. A lot of other companies could learn a lot from the customer service provided at this store.

I’ve had such a great experience with Becky and the team at Havant Wickes. They all went above and beyond to help us. The service is second to none and after purchasing 56sq metres of tiles and a new kitchen we will now be planning a new bathroom. Just like to say a huge thanks to everyone at Wickes.

I needed to buy a lot of equipment for my son who is starting a plastering course at college. All I had was a massive list of stuff (including a hawk (!) and a rasp) with no clue what it was or where to find it.
The store assistant, Alex, was a life-saver and helped me pick all items against the list. He was super-knowledgeable and gave me some great advice- and when he couldn’t locate a certain item he didn’t give up and tracked it down.
Alex is a credit to your store- friendly, polite and professional. I felt really valued and looked after as a customer and he fulfilled the entire list!
Thank you, Alex- you clearly care about delivering a great customer experience- please keep up the great work!

I went in there as I needed some paint to redecorate my living room. The staff members were really helpfull, especially Luis Culcay, who with his knowledge made me choose the right type of paint and tools I needed. Now my living room has a new look and i am super happy with how it turned up.

Wickes kitchen design service - Becky Carter was incredibly helpful with my kitchen design. She was on the ball from the start, considered every aspect, listened to my ideas and steered me towards a very high end result. Would highly recommend her for anyone’s kitchen design. I couldn’t fault her.

Went this morning to buy Stirling Board and roofing sheets for a shed some friends and I erected yesterday. A very helpful woman who was standing guard while a colleague drove a fork lift truck in and out provided me with all the information I needed and a tub of fixing nails.
Alex then took my payment for the items I was carrying out and took my order for the items to be delivered. He was a bit rusty on the process as my details were entered twice in different computers, but he made the whole process a joy. Thank you Alex.
I await delivery tomorrow....

Great customer service and very helpful. Asked at the till if they had any more paint and the manager (Gary) went and found an extra tub.

I had to return some paint yesterday. It said pure white on the tin, but was actually grey when I opened it. Very annoying having to return it to the shop, but Dee sorted it in a very friendly and fuss free manner. It ended up being a nice experience! The other staff I’ve dealt with at Havant have also been super friendly and helpful.

My grandmother sought help and was met with excellent customer service and a calm welcoming energy by a worker called Alex at the havant location. He went out of his way to aid her and took time out of his day to assist her with household troubles.

The staff are always so helpful especially Luis, very knowledgeable and helpful

Thank you Alex for your amazing assistance in store today and assisting me to the till with the drive seal

Michael wonderful service thanks alex

Bought some rough sawn timber for a trellis project in the week but ran out! Went back to Wickes Havant today only to discover very little or no same size timber left.
Found just two pieces which were a bit chewed up…at the checkout I cheekily asked if I could have a discount on the timber because of its poor condition.
Alice asked Adam if I could get a price reduction and he agreed, he reduced both pieces of timber for me because they weren’t that perfect.
Thank you Adam and Alice, such nice people. Wickes Havant is a great local DIY store, always friendly and helpful service.
Thank you.

Really helpful staff, excellent service. Thankyou Kelly in particular who bothered to select a good quality piece of timber for me

Wow! What a company. The store manager - Ingrid - has been incredible at supporting our school and been in constant communication, going over and above to support us. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Good service? Luis was great! Delivery was quick and they were helpful.
Price was good too.

I work for a shopfitting company, we have a job in Bicester , we were working over a weekend and ran short of paint. I went to the Havant store to see if they could help with a colour I needed. I was served by Kelly , what a great lady she is, her help, assistance to get the colour I needed was very impressive especially as the colour was originally a Farrow and Ball colour , nothing was to much trouble for Kelly and I got the colour I needed. I award Kelly 10/10 top lady , many thanks

We recently had a bathroom designed and fitted by Wickes in Havant. The dessigner Adam did a lovely job and we quickly agreed on all the specifications. Great to deal with a very experienced. The fitter was Jozsef Kosma. Jozsef was absolutely wonderful and made light work of a pretty complex job. He was so helpful and polite. Alweays went the extra mile. Both very highly recommended. We couln't be more pleased.

I recently visited Wickes at Havant several times to purchase laminate flooring, underlay, paint, brushes, compost, and topsoil.

In my experience, a staff member named Tina was exceptional. She was energetic, supportive, and always willing to help customers. While I found some other staff members to be a bit rude, Tina’s service stood out as particularly positive.

The shop itself is quite large, offering a wide variety of stock and plenty of choices. Additionally, there is free parking available, and the overall value provided was good.
