The staff and food is excellent.. They staff look after us love going .

Appalling customer service. They call it guest relations. Complained as prices stated on website were £2.00 cheaper than menu in the restaurant for Sunday lunch options. This was back in April. Also vegetables came to table 5 minutes before main meal. Emails back and forth over 2 months. Claimed my emails had been lost in their system. Several days between replies. Wasnt happy with response and last one was patronising. So I sent another complaint about my initial one. No response after 3 weeks. Just ignored. They presume the issue will just go away. I have never experienced such dreadful customer service

Went to The Roundstone at East Preston west Sussex for breakfast our waitress was fantastic her name was Tammy and another ladies name was Kate the food was excellent and the service was superb will definitely be going back with all my family and friends lovely experience thank you .

We recently had a bad experience at a Whitbread Inn in Staffordshire, I had the Salmon, it was a very small piece, with 6 tiny tomatoes and cost around £14. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but this was poor value. My Wife had a lasagne, which was OK, but the 2 pieces of garlic bread were cold, hard and uneatable. We shared a bowl of chips, these looked as if they had been scraped off other plates and re-heated. The waitress was very apologetic and swapped the chips. We weren't going to complain, but she asked if we had enjoyed the meal. I got home and filled in the comments form. I had no reply, I have sent 2 emails asking why no reply, these were not answered. We had eaten there before several times, but never again.

The Drove in Newhaven East Sussex is part of the Whitbread group. I have found that they offer excellent customer service and if there is a problem they do not quibble but either replace the food or give you a refund. The staff are very friendly in particular Joe and Mitch Team Leaders and Sam and Jess. There is another lady whose name I cannot remember . The food is good particularly the Sammon Fillets. We often go on the buy one get one free.

I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant

I decided to book here for our 15th Anniversary lunch. Table booked online for 12:30 on Saturday 9 March. We arrived 12:20 was greeted well and shown to our table, drinks order taken, then disapeared for 10 minutes before returning with them. Waitress arrives, doesn't introduce herself, takes our order. Starter takes a further 25 minutes, we ordered the shredded bbq beef on salad, tiny portion; takes us around 10 minutes to eat, manager then appears as our waitress seems to be having a row at the other end of the restaurant? We wait and wait; there are plates and plates of food lined up, waiting to be taken at the servery. Eventually the manager arrives with our main meals, which are now luke warm. I ordered the steak with triple cooked chips, hubby has ordered the burger. Food tasted good, so no complaints about that. Just very under staffed; our waitress was obviously stressed out. Glass of wine was just over £6.00, Meal for two starters, two mains £65.00. Which I wouldn't mind had the service been adequate and food hot. Definitely not going back. Shame as the pub itself is lovely. I felt bad as I thought it would be nice to celebrate at one of our locals 🤔 sorry hubby.

Served by Tegen, who was very helpful, polite and attentive. 4 of us had the evening menu, fast service and very good food.

We ate at The Heath at Hythe, in the bar area, the table we had I hadn't been wiped down all night, it was sticky, food stuck to it and drink rings every where.
The seats were so worn that approximately 40% of the dirty foam was showing through, some of the chairs were broken.
Then a whole tray of food was dropped, going all over the floor, not far from us, the staff wiped it up with tissues, the tissues were black from the filthy floor, the floor was not cleaned properly from the spillage, disgusted. This was at 2130 and there was still about 6 young child running about the whole pub, whilst the parents were drinking at the bar. On top of that two chairs were put together for a baby to sleep, taking up a table for six, saying it was reserved. If the public sector of the pub is filthy on view and run like this, what is behind the scenes like! I am considering contacting the Council.

Ate at the May Tree tonight in Helston.
Great service from Jack one of the waiters and the manager of the place looked after us well.
It's my first time eating there but I was impressed, food was really tasty so hope to visit there again.

We visit table table, centurion restaurant in Tamworth every week, always treated with friendliness and respect, always enjoy the food. On our last visit, due to unforseen circumstances only two people were covering the whole restaurant on Sunday morning, would like to thank Kelly and Anneka for all their hard work to ensure customers were served as quickly as possible. From the moment we were greeted at the door by Mark, throughout the meal with attentive service from Kate, Tara and Ellie, perfect food, perfect setting, perfect evening. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Carglaze to anybody. Well done to you all.

In A Nutshell:

A very Long Wait For Food.
Food came out cold. not luke warm fridge cold.- and some of the ingredients were pork and chicken. (serious problems)
I eventually had to call for the manager as i had to leave for work.
(2 1/2 hours in restaurant)
Manager not to bee seen to discuss my problems so i left my name address and telephone number- If you think i should pay for any of this horrific experience ring me i said to the waiters/staff and left.
i couldnt hang on for manager any longer I was due in work at 8. it was 8.25 when i left.

next day £40 taken off card.
Rang Head Office.. ill investigate.... Nothing.

So here I am.

02-06-18 We had reserved a table which was ready and waiting for us, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the ribeye stake I had was excellent.

A good experience for a change! My partner & I often eat at the Warrener in Thetford as though the food is a little dearer than other local eateries such as the Hungry Horse the service is excellent. This is one of the few remaining big national restaurant chains that do table service which of course is essential when you have physical disabilities. The only reason that this lacks one star for the highest rating is that service can be a little slow, but now that we know that we are always prepared.

Just wanted to share my appreciation and those who were stranded on Thursday 1st of March with me. (about 20 people). The staff and Manageress Gillian Furlong went above and beyond to help us at Table Table John Milne, Milnrow, Rochdale. After been stranded for hours due to horrendous weather conditions. The Premier Inn next door was full but rather than see anyone without shelter they let us sleep in the bar,provided bedding, tea, coffee and food. Gillian even gave her own room and a pair of her own boots to a stranded pregnant women.. Kindness I have not encountered for a long time. Thank you all again well done.Tony Wilkinson

May Tree Helston.Service was very slow had to wait 15 mins before ordering the drinks. Food was good but the plates should have been warmer as food went cold fast. The room was very cold.Some of the other customers put their coats back on when eating their meals.A shame as it is a very nice place.

Regardless of which arm of their business you use, there seems to be a general problem with them listening when you make a simple request based on allergies. Several of their "Brewers Fayre" restaurants have served food with the offending item in there, but then taken them back and cooked a fresh meal, so props for that, but really, how many times do you have to tell the servers at their Victoria Park restaurant in Ebbw Vale before they get it right? (3 times in a minute, and it STILL wasn't listened to).

Worse still - their "Table Table" restaurant, otherwise known as The Ashbridge in Cwmbran - who not only ignored the request, but then removed the item, leaving traces of it all over the meal. If it wasn't for my habit of checking because of their blatant disregard for customer health, I could have consumed the food, and wound up in hospital within a few hours. Even better, after posting a comment on Tripadvisor, I was then verbally abused by the general manager, and told that I wasn't clear enough about the allergy when I spoke to the server, despite using the words "allergic", and "severely".

I think a mass retraining of your staff is required.

Very poor service , we had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks on this visit. On our previous visit, my partners birthday, we had starters before drinks.
Apparently lack of staff was the cause on BOTH occasions ....
If Friday/Saturday are your busy days, then get more staff in or recruit...
The table across from us got so fed up with waiting for their drinks , the chap went and got them himself....
Rubbish WHITBREAD, a Company like yourselves should do a lot better, Customer service, whats that in TABLE TABLE...
