After a bad night and not much sleep in White rock premier inn due to small double bed , sheet didn't fit, duvet lumpy/hard, we went for breakfast in beefeater next door , ok so restrictions have been lifted " Covid " but a free for all at buffet, table not cleaned , didnt have most of the cold buffet and available, the hot buffet dry over cooked, manager not happy when we complained it was a case of take it or leave it , we didn't eat and left .

DISGRACE - Employees SMOKED and the SMOKE came into our room all night - and because they state out of their control they do not refund - do they not control their staff and their property??????
I have complained to CEO's - Brittain and others - lets see if anything happens........ NOTHING HAS TO DATE 26TH JULY 2021

Not been to a table table since 1st lockdown, and we had a lovely time at the Liskeard Tavern. From the friendly and helpful greet at the door, to the superb server Ian H, who has a fantastic personality and perfect at his job, plus great food and atmosphere .Plenty of full hand sanitizers around and it all felt very safe. Plan to go back next week to celebrate my Birthday and have the Eton mess. Thank you

Had a lovely family meal at Liskeard Tavern and Ollie and his team looked after us all. We were a large party of nine including small children and everyone was amazingly accommodating. Brilliant service and would highly recommend.

I am very disappointed to leave this review, but Alison Brittain (CEO) and the Premier Inn Customer Service Team gave me little option.

I recently wrote to Ms Brittain to advise her that based on my experience :

a) Premier Inn appears to MIS-SELL rooms on their website
b) Doesn’t honour the widely publicised Good Night Guarantee and is therefore, most likely in BREACH OF CONTRACT.

The issue in a nutshell, was I had requested and thought I had booked a Twin room. On arrival at the hotel we were allocated a small double which made for a very uncomfortable and unpleasant night. To make matters worse Premier Inn then refused to honour their Good Night Guarantee, by giving a reason that was (a) not true and (b) not in the terms and conditions.

Such a pity that Ms Brittain and Whitbread appear to have forgotten that good customer service makes great companies. While I have chosen to rest easy and not take the matter through the courts, Whitbread may want to review their approach to service before it’s too late.

I use Premier Inn fairly frequently because they give good value for money. I rarely find much to criticise or single out for special praise. And so it was with my most recent visit to Shrewsbury North but feel I should mention the very warm welcome and service provided by Vicky and Kelsey who were bright, energetic, cheerful and helpful.

This was our 2nd meal at Gresford whitbread as we were stay at the premier inn. Food is excellent, helpfully and friendly service by Kim who enhanced the good food by her pleasant personal attention to our needs. Will be back tomorrow night for more of the good things which Make a good night.

Ate as a party of four including one lady who is gluten intolerant. When asked about gluten free options we were presented with ALL the dietary information for ALL the ingredients. So basically do it yourself. As we work in catering were familiar with the charts which reveal the only option that is gluten free is the chips and possibly the steaks. When we queried the waitress she offered to get us mash potato without butter in it ??? Obviously they have no idea what gluten is. A couple of days ago we ate in a Green King pub where they affered ALL their main meals as gluten free and the staff seem well trained in allergies. Not sure we will use whitbreads again as apart from allergy short comings everything comes out the deep fat fryer, there are better options.

Stayed at Bridgewater Arms, Harmer Hill nr Shrewsbury. Very welcoming staff - courteous, friendly & helpful. Food good, & premises clean. Hopefully will get the chance to visit again soon. Well done Team Bridgewater!

Belfast store in city centre, a lovely girl called jamie was our server so very helpful couldn’t do enough for us , had a meal out for our anniversary , will definitely be back the service was impeccable thank you bar and block for a good night out in the town

Florence was our waitress. She was excellent. My chicken had been overcooked but was still okay, Florence was very apologetic maybe the chef could learn from Florence 😂

Called into The Bridgewater Arms today ( 31 may 2021 ) the food was good as usual, service was excellent, we were served by a delightful young lady called Kersey who was friendly and welcoming, couldn't fault her service or the food in any way,

Had a meal at Bridgewater Arm on 9th December, food was very good, plenty of it, felt very safe, Covid safety rules were in place, staff were very attentive especially Jack who looked after us,definitely will go back

After booking a table for 7pm at premier inn cockermouth, we were informed that our table wasnt ready as previous customers hadnt finished, we were instead seated at a bar table to eat our food,we both ordered a mixed grill and asked for our steak medium, it arriver well done, asked if we wanted any condiments, never turned up, asked again, a selection bought over none of which we'd asked for . Then before my collegue had finished his meal, asked for 2 further acholic drinks only to be told that we couldnt have any unless we order a desert. As my collegue was still eating his main and i had only just finished mine, i could not understand why not, i asked for someone to complain to and was aproached by the a lady who said she was the manager, who patronisingly started trying to tell me what the new covid rules were and that i should have ordered all my drinks whilst i still had food infront of me, which i did still have my plate and my collegue still eating his. But her mind was made up, no dessert no drink, I think some retraining on customer service and rules around covid wouldnt go a miss. Certainly wont be going back in a hurry.

I was sent an email advising me that I had a free birthday meal code, however when attending Table Table Trefrey Tavern in Newquay, and after spending just over £132, I was told I had to pay for my meal because the code wasn’t valid. This is the 2nd bad experience I’ve had in a year.
Whitbread have replied to an email I sent, saying my card was deactivated, due to not being used for a year. This is not really surprising due to Covid 19!

Have booked Premier Inns for myself and family many times over recent years. I can't think of any other Hotel Company whose is as flexible on booking arrangements or as generous on cancellations over the epidemic period. In addition we always get a comfortable/clean and mostly quiet room.
They are a classy Company that deserve much better than to make such a resounding loss over the pandemic period and be laying off their excellent staff - I hope they survive intact - they will have our loyalty.

Had a dreadful experience at the Brewer’s Fayre in Newhaven. We stayed overnight at the Premier Inn but the following morning were brusquely thrown out of the adjacent restaurant by the manager when he heard we’d arrived on the Dieppe ferry. This overnight stay is allowed under government self-isolating rules. What’s
worse is we have so far received no acknowledgement or apology from Whitbread following our experience. Avoid this place.

Stayed at the premier inn for 2 nights and had both evening meal and breakfast at The May Tree, the food was typical to what you would expect and staff went out of their way to please, all staff we encountered were welcomeing and friendly with a special mention to Abi who looked after us on our final evening

I went to Bridgwater Arms today, somewhere I had visited many times before and been happy. Today I was served by a very uninterested young man behind the bar I ordered my meal to be told there was a typo error and that meal wasn’t available so I ordered the next nearest meal. The meal wasn’t the best it was cold the green beans had stringy hard bits and the mashed potato has a weird taste. My mum had hunters chicken the chicken was solud A young man that brought the meals to the table asked did we need anything my mum said some salt, he said ira over there basically get it yourself. The place wasn’t busy and he could have fetched it over in no time. At no point were we asked about the meal and when finished Boone made any attempt to clear our plates away. Very disappointed today, has put me off returning

realy enjoyed the food but could do with more VEGAN options. what has happened to the lovely Vegan Thai curry? only available in London? Barry and Sandra
