We had the pleasure of having Christmas Dinner at the Hobbs Boat Lympsham the meal was excellent
The staff went out of their way to make it a Christmas day to remember we would definitely go again

Once again very friendly service and i was short of time but with Sharon's helpful service we were not kept waiting

We have been going to the Maytree Helston regularly and have always had such a great experience.
The staff are always very accommodating, polite and efficient.
Nothing is too much trouble and always been friendly towards my children.
I would recommend a visit as a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Resisted complaining on this site but after 10 days of being ignored about a very serious complaint about one of their outlets which could have had the branch closed down I have no alternative but to say that I will not be using any of their pubs, hotels or restaurants again and as I work in the tourism industry I spend quite a lot of money a year in this sector. But Hey Ho! plenty more where that comes from! The initial telephone call to their HO cost me £6.12 as after being transferred several times I must have been connected to a Premium Rate number. After being ignored after that I emailed the CEO and was ignored. I emailed her again, copying it to all the other Directors and finally got a two line email from the Secretary to say it was being investigated.
Another week has gone by with nothing. I have telephoned HO again and spoken to the most inadequate members of staff; one from Care and the other from HR. With this attitude I can only begin to imagine what it must be like to work for them!

Had an excellent meal at The Roundstone this evening. Served by Sarah who was very attentive and pleasant. The food was hot and well presented. Often eat at this pub and always have a good experience, the staff are very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them

Ten family members went to The Brache in Luton on Saturday evening for two birthday celebrations. We were looked after by Matthew all evening. The service was fabulous, food was lovely and hot. For Matthew nothing was too much trouble. We had a great evening, so thank you especially to Matthew.

i took two ladies in their eighties to The Roundstone, East Preston, for lunch on Saturday 12th October. We waited nearly 10 minutes to be shown to our table. the delivery of our main course was very slow. the lasagne was fine. the fish was beautifully hot. the chips with the fish and the gammon were luke warm, and the tomato with the gammon was stone cold. it seemed to take for ever to get the menus again for our dessert, but these were fine, when they finally arrived. in all, it took us an hour and three quarters to eat our meal. we will not be going there again

Honestly one of the worst communications I've ever had from a customer service department. Not what I'd expect from a company as big as Whitbread. Without repeating the whole sorry saga, we had a dreadful experience at our local Beefeater where we have been regular customers for several years. I was so disappointed I contacted Whitbread Relations, attaching a copy of my bill. I received a response asking me for reference numbers and details from my bill. 'Sharon' clearly hadn't even read my initial email or she wouldn't have asked me to send information I'd already sent. I replied with a second copy of the bill and received an extremely disappointing reply full of excuses because the restaurant was busy that day. The email also had a slightly sarcastic tone, repeating information from my original email because I questioned whether it had even been read when they asked for details from the bill, so now she wanted to prove she had read it! In actual fact the restaurant was half empty, not that busy at all, apart from which any restaurant should be geared up to run smoothly at full capacity. Being busy is not an excuse for a restaurant to fail. Surely being busy is any restaurant's main aim! I was clearly a very unhappy regular customer and did not even receive a satisfactory acknowledgement that they had failed, let alone a proper apology and a gesture of goodwill. So they have now lost my custom completely - at my local Beefeater and all Whitbread establishments. Simply because they could not be bothered to respond to a customer as if they cared. Whitbread - you have to care about customers or one by one you WILL lose them.

I treated my sister to lunch telling her the open club chicken and bacon sandwich was lovely but when it arrived it was only warm and my bread was burnt.

Stayed at this Whitbread establishment for 7 nights from 22nd - 29th September. The service was excellent. The staff were polite, caring and nothing was too much trouble.
In particular I would like to mention the help provided by staff members Sophie, Gracie, Toby & Fin

Whitbread are a bunch of crooks.
Cutting staffs hours down, so they have to work quicker and harder than they already do, so they can have Craig David play at a venue for managers and owners of the company.
Why not give back to the people that keep your business a float! See how hard they work, what they have to put up with and give back to them, instead of giving to those that don't want,need and don't appreciate it!
No need to cut staffs hours, you already earn more than enough money.
Just greed.
One day all of your great employees will go and your business will fall.

Stay at The Warriner at Thetford every year to meet up with Family every Year.
Table for eleven all wanting different meals all on a meal deal which is excellent value.
Lovely little waitress dealt with us promptly and was very informative meals came out quickly and all together
The head of restaurant for breakfast is a master of his craft,eleven breakfasts each one different and all came out correctly all piping hot.
Quality of food excellent. All of the staff were friendly.

At short notice we got a table and had excellent service from Ana M. The order was spot on and service very quick. The steaks were cooked to perfection.

Visited Beeches Wrexham 30/08/2019 .ordered two meals & Bottle Merlot wine .Wine on the menu £13.99 & informed special offer on the wine ,buy two glasses & get rest of the bottle free, However on the receipt wine charged £17.07 with a reduction of £5.69 This is not a special offer .When the manager was approached . It’s Whitbread policy. In my opinion this is misrepresented.

By chance we found The May Tree, Helston whilst looking for somewhere to stop for lunch. Had a fabulous Sunday roast. The cauliflower cheese was amazing. Left full and happy. Would definitely recommend and be back if we lived nearer! (We were staying I Perranporth for the weekend).

Absolutely discusted with the service at Plymouth beefeater and the young staff need to learn manners and customer service skills. Firstly arrived requiring a table for 2 only to be told we would have to wait 2 hours as theyhadsome big tables in yet there were plenty of empty 2 seat tables in view. Then when waiting to order the girl serving had only what I can say is an attitude as if she had no patience when it came to serving a customer who was keeping her in a job. The tables were dirty and sticky and a few tables hadn't been cleared. I will never again eat at this place again and hope whitbread look into this matter and sack a few members of staff.

Went to Brewers Fayre Bicester Oxfordshire 21st July waited over 30 minutes for 4 main courses 2 of which were unavailable so two of us had to order an alternative when we asked a member of staff to investigate we were told it was being plated.
Only 2 of us ordered dessert and we waited over 30 minutes.then gave up and asked for a refund.
I only saw one member of staff serving and it appeared that there were not sufficient staff to cope.
There are only two reasons for this in my opinion.
1.The company that own the premises employ minimum staff to get maximum profit.
2. Staff are paid minimum wage.
Not impressed and highly unlikely to return.

This is our local pub/resturant and we always have excellent service and good food.. our server was called David today and as usual, he was friendly and helpful. He has served us a couple of times now and is always happy to help.

my husband and I ate at the may tree helston on the above date,our waitress for the duration of our visit was called TEGEN,a lovely young lady very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.the food was first class,we will definitely go back.
