I have trying to get a HELOAN.
I have trying to get a HELOAN but I didn't have a high enough FICA score to be even considered. When I talked to WCL about it, they told me that a better way to go would be with a HELOC. This would be easier to get approved for and could be set-up like a savings account that I could take some of the approved amount and only have to pay interest on that amount & not on the total amount of the HELOC. This makes it more like a savings account that I can use if and when I need some extra money.

It took your underwriters THREE MONTHS…
It took your underwriters THREE MONTHS to approve me - just because our home was in a Trust and I have Power of Attorney for my husband, who lives in an Assisted Living Facility and no longer capable of making business decisions. They EVEN wanted HIS signature!!!! I hope they don't get old some day.....

Mark Gomez was amazing at making sure I understood the process every step we took. He helped me obtain documents I needed and made sure everything was how it was supposed to be. He was great about getting right back to me. The whole process was a lot smother because of him.

Everything went as smoothly as possible. Alex was professional and thorough. He answered his phone when called and actually did everything that he said he would do. I’ve had more mortgages than I can count and this was, by far, the best experience I’ve had.
